this guy Le Pen is a really prick cus if such a patriotic country such as france allow a idiot like him to be able to have his own campaign then members of the EU are in trouble. he wants to get rid of the Maastricht Treaty and make a set wage for women and even have all the asylum seekers removed, this is depressing for such a multi ethnic nation:flaming:

Yeah, he wants to send all asylum seekers over here, to Britain (Another reason for why Blair doesn't like him).

But think about it this way: If the French are as fanatically patriotic as you say, shouldn't they want Le Pen, like Germany wanted Hitler?

and, back to Le Pen, well thank the GODS he wasn't elected. But, and this applies for most countries, if Le Pen, or someone else with ideas like hitler ever rose to power for some reason, The world would squash him or her like a bug.
I'm SERIOUS on that! When WWII has happening, they didn't have all the technology that we have today. Rememer, it would take months for a letter in Europe to be recieved in the US. At the BEGINNING, I'm sure a lot of people had no idea hitler was doing things like putting people in the concentration camps- heck, I KNOW a lot of poeple didn't know he was doing that, or else the Jew woulda high-tailed it outta there, if you know what I mean.
Today, we have all these high tech things- internet, T.V., cell phones, internet satellite TV(or whatever it is), that we(meaning the world) would be able to spot the next hitler and stop that person in time.

And the Dutch guy was not killed because he was gay, he was killed becuase he was from the right wing, and due to his beliefs, though I doubt it was a conspiracy...

Well Hitler really was not elected as much as you think he was. He had his little group that would later become known as the SS before he was put into office. He "eliminated" many people against him and that he saw as a threat to him. As for France trying to pull a hitler, wont happen. Main reason because we Americans see our self as the World Police and have to get in everyone elses business. No one stepped in and told us we were beeing bad when we where fighting for our independece,... but anyway. the US and British would beable to put a stop to anything they tried. The french dont have nearly the fighting force Germany had and the French have been known through history as poor fighters. It still makes me mad how some of the french treat americans after We saved their butts twice within 50 years...I hade a teacher that said the French could not fight their way out of a paper bag. Sorry Im not trying to be racist or anything but history proves there reputation as poor fighters...

well, I do belive that the french aren't very good fighters, nor have very good police- not offense to anyone french.

And I get so angry whenever anyone tries to say that. today, we were watching a movie about WWI in social studies, and I just thought it was BULL, PURE BULL, because all it talked about was what the Americans did, and how they essentially saved everyone else, and won WWI by themselves. Honestly now, how much BULL is that? I'm not trying to diss America(i AM American), I'm just trying to say that we aren't the center of the world. Now I understand why so may countries hate us- they think we're self-centered. And they're right, some of us are! :mad:

as for getting involved in everyone's else's business, I do wagree, sometimes, we do. BUT, BUT, sometimes, it's a good thing. Hey, look at Israel and Palastine.
