Fall
How come is this. The GCN is coming out for $329 from what I've read in the newspaper. The Xbox is now $339 here. And this is confusing me... Why, when the PS2 has been out for a long time before these other two systems have been released, is the PS2 still over $450??? Is there something in the this system that is way expensive, or don't they want to put a price drop on it or something? I've been looking to buy the PS2 for some time now, but it's just been too expensive for us at the moment.... I also heard that they're bringing out a quite large disk drive for the PS2.... for online gaming, is this true?
James
I've already explained this at length. Sony aren't cutting the PS2's price. Rather, they are including the HDD in a bundle with the console at no extra cost. This is how they plan to get their online network running with newer buyers, while simultaneously avoiding a price cut.
