DAMN, this forum is SO restrictive. Why can't you just do the simple "No swears/no sex/no drugs/no flames" thing? Jesus. All I try to do is post one f*cking topic and it's closed. because the same one has supposedly been posted lots of times before. Well, LOOKIE HERE, it hasn't. ONE topic concerning fav DB GT villain, ONE concerning best looking DB GT villain, NOTHING else. NOTHING on fav DBZ villain. NONE. look for yourself. Maybe there was one in the past, but it isn't there now. See a few paragraphs below on why a new one should be posted.

Someone should lobby for a change. That's why these forums are so small, I was wondering why. All of TDE was streaching for several pages after just a month. Radix and GOLDEN knew how to work thier forum. *sniff*. I miss that forum. I'd give a whole lot jsut to hear Kazor do some kind of flame at me right now.

Or NOI! Damn, I miss him. He was like Devidramon's twin brother.

Oh well. Back to the subject. Lighten up, eh? You'd think that there's a problem with a couple of posts on the same subject. People opinions change! You've got to be able to ride along with it. Posting the same topic a few times is healthy, it promotes arguments, which promote opinions, which promote theories, which promotes the human imagination, which is the most powerful thing in human existance.

The people at the Digimon forum have the same problem. "TAMERS SHOULD LIVE ON! IT SHOULD LAST!" GOOD GOD PEOPLE, DO YOU EVEN WATCH THE SHOW?! It's about EVOLUTION! CHANGE! TIMES CHANGE! PEOPLE CHANGE! Season Four might not be the best season, or it might be the best season! WHO KNOWS?! If we DON'T get it, then WE SURE AS HELL WON'T!

Well, that's it for my rant. DAMN, I could out do Devidramon in a rant if I wanted to, methinks.

Just to cover my bets, I'm gonna include something more closely realted to Dragonball, so that I can be absolutely SURE that you can't take this off or lock it:

Why do you think that Super Saiyjin (is there ANY correct way to SPELL THAT DAMN NAME?!) x4 looks so vastly differant from all the other Super Saiyjin levels? Normaly, each one launches off of the previeos one: SSj x1, golden hair, green eyes, big muscles. SSj x2, build-up on that: More hair, more muscle. SSj x3, long golden hair, even more muscle, no eyebrows.

SSj x4: Red hair over a lot of the body, black hair, tail. Why?

Uhh, as far your "problem" with the forum rules.... I'll be fast and simple with you... I don't care what one person thinks, I care what the majority thinks. If I cared how much one person cared, my head would have blown up about 6,000 times by now. The forum rules are to STOP the bullshit that's posted time and time again because I and the other common users are sick and tired of hearing the dubbies and newbie yap about nonsense. To that, I have to say one thing: If you don't like the rules... all you have to do is move your cursor up and hit that little "X" on your browser and all your problems will be solved.

As far as Super Saiya-jin (this is the correct Romanji/Japanese spelling of the race, which literally means "Ape-person") 4 is concerned... no one knows why they look vastly different. As you know, the plot/story line wasn't written by Toriyama for the DBGT series. The only thing done by him was the character design of what he was told to do. People debate over whether or not this SS-J 4 is really a true super saiya-jin level. I for one see it as more of a evolution than a tranformation to Super Saiya-jin. They are evlving to look more like apes, which is somewhat of a true form to them. There's no real explanation to it... at least not from what I've read in the manga and Daizenshuu... who knows... but oh well.

First off all, lemme just start by saying, you don't like the restrictions, too bad, and deal with it. Those rules are too keep morons like yourself from trashing this forum with stupid topics like SSJ5 topics...or "Does Furizza have a penis?"

Two, its SSJ4 to answer your question. And its different because its a compressed Golden Oozaru..

Noone gives a crap however those two nobodies you mentioned run your their forums, if we take a look which one is more successful, its nodoubtebly this one.

Rogue, there have been many topics following the same repetitive line, although they may not have exactly have the same title, they are still asking the same question. I can bet it annoys the hell out of a lot of people here (it annoys me thats for sure) as the same kind of topic keeps cropping up every couple of weeks.

I'll go with the DBZ-related thing first.

I read somewhere that it isn't realy a true SSj level, it's an offshoot. As for the evolution theory, you mean de-evolution. They're humanoids, they've already gone through the ape phase. Going back to being an ape would mean that thier species was a compleate and toatal failure (Which, looking at how powerful Vageta and Goku get, is just not true), and Evolution has decided to go back to basics and start over. My personal theory from my limited information is that it's more like a SGO - Super Golden Oozaru - as I read that the two are connected somehow.

Now, onto the rant.

First off, someone up there called me a moron. Ah. It was Altron Gundum.

Secondly, I am raising a valid point. If no one posts a topic that's already been posted, then no one knows someone's new opinion. To keep in tune with my post which got locked: My most favorite DBZ villain used to be Nappa. That was back at the begining. Now it's Freiza. Would you know this if the same topic wasn't posted twice? No. Do you care? Probably not. But some people do.

Getting back to Altron Gundum, I don't think anyone's stupid enough to misspell Freiza, even on purpose, besides you. I mean, come on! It's one of the few cases in the DBZ universe where the name spelling is set. And you misspelled 'no one'. That involves physical effort. I's gots da worst spellink in da world, and I can still spell that correctly.

Radix and GOLDEN were excelent moderators, I miss them, the Digimon Experiance was the greatest board ever, and leave them out of this, that was a tangent.

And TDE was much more succesful. Only three incarnations: An EZ board, a UBB board, and a YaBB board. This one's had five. What's that tell you about manegement? Plus, each time, it raked in HUNDREDS of members. Of course, the first time, they moved it to the UBB baord, and that fell apart when Kazor hacked into it and started a whole mess about a supposed hacker named 'Timmy'; and the YaBB fell apart when Kazor started a virtual war between the older memberes and the newbies. I was of course supportive of the newbies despite my status as an older member, but that's beside the point.

Oh, yes, AG, don't treat me like a newbie, for three reasons:

1) I've been a' boarding for longer then you, and even if I haven't, age does not imply wisdom;
2) Newbies would be asking the stupidist of stupid questions, simply because they don't know better. I ask "What're your most favorite DBZ villain? How many have there been"? because I don't know and I'm curious, a newbie would ask something like "Where are all the other Icejin"? Invalid question, no one but Toriyama could awnser that. But they're inexperianced, and if it was explained somewhere in the series, then it would be a good question.

All of the above applied only to Altron Gundum. I make enemies only of people who hurt me/insult me/hurt my friends/insult my friends. My automatic responce to someone I've never met before is to assume that they're nice people and I don't want to realy get to know them, but I have nothing against them.

As I will say Altron Gundam did over-react on such a topic that didn't need that, I can say you make yourself no better than he is by telling him to "f off"...

I don't know exactly what point your trying to get across here.... your Digimon forum, or whatever, is better than Otaku? I don't care.... We have over 2,000 members here and we run the boards accordingly. Unfortunantly due to the fact that the Otaku site is based on Anime, which, in america, is associated with children, the boards get children and we have to change things to make it more... suitable for them.... and even to set the little kids straight...

We don't allow "cuss" words because we get tired of time after time of some little billy seeing the F word and then Billy's mommy e-mails James or Adam and "yells" at them for allowing that language. The rules in THIS Specific forum were developed by me with the help of the visitors. As you'll see if you look in the topic called "Please read before you post..." the majority agree, while only a minority disagree. And like I stated before, I simply can't do things based on what a group minority thinks. This isn't civil rights, this is government... we don't elect a president by the smallest vote do we? Ofcourse not... If there's enough demand for it, and we don't find a problem with it, it will most likely be done.

Also, because you think this Digimon board was so great doesn't mean we are going to change to please someone. I've never been to this Digimon baord, I don't care about this board, and as far as I see it... it's gone and OtakuBoards is still here and that says everything to me.

The bottom line is... whatever problem you have with the rules, thats your problem that you have to deal with. Get therapy if you must... The rules are set, agreed upon by the majority, and will remain in our board's "constitution" for as long as it shall take.

With that said, if you wish to stay here, you are welcome to. If your problem with the rules is so bad, then you are free to leave whenever you please.

As far as you and Altron are concerned.. this little "mix up" will cease immediately and any post by either of you "yelling" at each other will be deleted and you will be warned... This goes for the both of you.

wow, im almost at a lack for words. i would say to rouge that right now you are just that, this is their board and their rules.
as for the whole newbie thing, i think its cool that their is almost a system of rank or some kind of seniority.
i also think a person shouldnt bother trying to show supremacy over other board users talking about how long they have been doing this. these post are no indincation of the writers true intilect. maybe some but not much.

Listen, like TN said before, if you don't like it here, just click that little "X" at at the top of the screen or click on your URL bar and go somewhere else. The OtakuBoards staff has worked very hard to make these forums the best they possibly can to keep total spam like this off the boards, even though you tried to save it by asking a DB related question. And all that "f-off" junk was not really called for. If you don't like it, join another board, or better yet, go make your own. That way, you can have it just the way you want it and topics like this can stop.

1) I seriously doubt you have been on boards longer than me, but enough of that.

2) DUBBIES, as well as newbies sometimes tend to get cocky as well as overreact when getting a reality check. The reality is, where did DB/Z/GT originate from? Oh wait, Japan. The respectful way to go about the series would at least be to spell the name right. Actually the official spelling is "Furiiza" not your dubbie version of "Frieza".

3) Rouge, you made an interesting point but its not enough. Too many newbies come in here and try to act like asses all the time. If you get riled up over one lame insult like "moron" or riled up over ONE closed topic I suggest you learn how to control your temper or leave. This forum has been through flaming wars before and wouldn't like to see one again.

Basically the bottom line is, respect the rules, if you don't like them, leave.

first off, in the year that I have been here on the boards, we have had hundeds, yes thats right, hundreds of favourite topics by many newbies and old members alike, and does anyone seriously want to see another one? no, I didn't think so....

heh, you call these forums small, thats strange, I didn't think small forums received over 2000 members, and thats not counting the 4000 members from version 2 before we moved to vbb and lost all our accounts, still think were pretty small?

we have had the same "is ssj4 a true saiyajin form" topic countless times before, and the majority of people believe it to be either an evolution, or not a true form at all....

I could tell you were a dubbie just by the way you spelt furiza, so I will be expecting more threads from you which we have already had on the boards time and time again....

oh, and one more thing, don't cuss or swear on our boards, or I will be forced to ban you, like I have countless people in the past....

I have only been a member here for about 2 months and i have seen already many many pointless topics such as the "who's ur favorite" or "what's the best". I think it is alot better for all involved when the moderators weed out the crap topics that no one really cares about thus leaving room for the quailty ones. I mean who wants to check whats new and have to search through 100 pointless repetitive topics for a new interesting one? And lets face it no one really cares who ur favorite villian is. It is not going to impact my life or even my DBZ side knowing u used to like Nappa but now u like Freeza. I think this can be said for most members. Also to call thses boareds small is a huge show of ignornace as there are, like they said over 2000 members. Maybe it just seems smaller without the stupid topics kept around? Lastly i agree that if u don't like the rules tough luck this is'nt the only board out there so u can go somewhere else. I would wager the only reason TN and the others have kept u, and ur stupid attempt to arouse controversy around this long is as an example to others thinking aobut making a jackass of themselves also. I don't beleive u or I know all the work TN and the others put into these boards but u should keep ur mouth shut till u do, and if that ever happens do whatever u want with ur board and let the Moderators here handle there own business.
