*Samantha follows close behind Lalaith, then Abob, and in the back was Ilisma who was having trouble keeping up with them.*

Lalaith-It came from this direction.

Samantha-*hears something and looks up* Lalaith, heads up!

*Lalaith looks up to see the Nazgûl with Lauren above him. The Nazgûl was flying at a tremendous speed, and was soon lost from their sight.*

Lalaith-LAUREN!!!

Samantha-She had better escape from the wraith, otherwise, they'll be in Mordor in a matter of hours!

Abob: "Not if I can help it!"

He notches his bow and fires arrw after arrow at the Wraith's flying horse, which is soon hit and falls to the ground about a mile in front of them.

They all run off towards the site where the wraith and Lauren must have landed. Abob carries Ilisma, who can keep up this staggering pace.

They run through the forest as fast as they can. The trees flash past as they break though the undergrowth to get to Lauren.

Suddenly they are all in a clearing. There in front of them in Lauren, who has a sword to her throat. Behind her is the wraith, which begins to speak...

Wraith: "Put your weapons down or she dies!"

Abob looks to Lalaith for guidance.....

Lalaith-LAUREN!!!

Nazgûl-now. Drop your weapons.

Samantha-if we do, you must let her go. UNHARMED.

Nazgûl-I don't have to do anything. You just be sure you do what I say.

*all of them look uneasily about them. Lalaith undid his sword from his belt.*

Samantha-wait, Lalaith. what if he kills Lauren, then kills us since we'll be unarmed?

Lalaith-it's a chance we'll have to take. *lalaith dropped his sword on the ground. Samantha put her blade on the ground beside his and removed her bow and arrows from her shoulder.*

Lalaith: Walked slowly further out into the clearing "Let her go"

Nazgul: "Now why would I do that?"

Lalaith: Looks at Lauren for a second "Because you can have me instead, and besides women arn't good warriors. Imagine having an elf on your side, a warrior I would be."

Nazgul: Looks thoughtfully at Lauren "What you speak is true. Very well. Grab your sword and come over here, any of you make a move and she dies."

Lalaith: Grabs his hilt and goes next to the Nazgul "Ok now let her go"

Nazgul: Presses the sword against her throat more firmly "Where is the fun in that?"

Lalaith: Filled with rage he draws his sword "I said let her go now! I will kil-"

Nazgul: Pulls his blood stained sword out of Lalaith's stomach

Lalaith: stares at his stomach for a moment then falls to the ground bleeding

Nazgul: "Fool"

Lauren: Lalaith!!

Lalaith: " I'm.....I....I'm...sorry Lauren....I...I still love you....." coughs

In the confusion, Abob scoops up his weapons and once they are all in place on his belt he draws his bow and sends a poisioned arrow speeding through the tree , where it finally hits the wraiths horse. The horse spasms once, then falls to the ground, dead.

Then Abob charges the wraith, who had to move away from Lauren to strike Lalaith. The Wraith begins to swing his sword at Lauren, but Abob blocks it with his long knife. The he throws the wraith back, into a bush. The wraith struggles, and falls into a hunting pit beneath, he is trapped and cannot escape without help.

Abob runs over to Lalaith, and pours a potion into Lalaiths stomach, which the wraith's vile mordor blade had peirced. The potion stopped the bleeding, but Lalaith needed serious help, form a wizard , no ordinary medicine would be able to keep him alive for long.

Abob turns around and yells to Ilisma to come over here quick, and heal Lalaith

She slowly walks over and raised her walking stick above her head, then begins to mumble. She brings the walking stick down on Lalaiths wound, and it suddenly heals. All that remains is a horrible scar, which would never go away, because a cut from a Mordor blade was forever.

They collected their things and started tosearch the forest for the others.....

Lalaith: Slowly gets up rubbing his stomach "Thanks Illisma.."

Illisma:Nods "None required its my job'

Lalaith: "So the poison of the blade...it won't affect me now?"

Illisma: "It should not. HOwever be careful, you can still be affected"

Lalaith: Nods "So this scar will stay with me forever"

Samantha-*sigh* at least you two are alright. *walks over to the pit* but what are we going to do about our angry wraith here?

Nazgûl-*wail* let me out of here NOW, or I shall report this to Master Sauron!

Lalaith-I say we leave him. Some of his friends will come along soon and get him. But meanwhile, we had better get going before they do get here!

They cover the pit with branches to muffle the wraith's cries, then hurry off to find the others, talking as they go.

Abob: "Sorry Lalaith, that scar will never go away, wont even fade."

Lalaith: "How do you know? It has been a while since Sauron's forces have been on the prowl. Unless you are older than you appear, or somehow know someone with a scar..."

Abob: "When my village was destroyed and my family killed I set out to destroy the Orcs who had slaughtered them. I succeeded in killing the whole clan, after ten years. Their leader was the last I killed, I wanted him to feel alone and helpless, like I had felt. I slew him in a sword duel, but he cut me with his sword before he died. Later I found out that it was a Mordor Blade given to his ancestors long ago for some vile deed. I took the blade and carefully cut it down and added a new hilt to the smaller, but sharper blade."

Lauren: "So, where is the cut down version of the sword now?"

Abob: "Right here." *puts his hand on the hilt of his long dagger, which is in its metal sheath.*

Samantha-that Mordor blade seems to have done enough evil. Now it can be used for good.

Abob-which is why I changed it to my own liking.

*Suddenly, Samantha stops walking*

Lalaith-what's wrong?

Lauren-Not another Nazgûl, is it?

Samantha-We forgot Nevoriel, Sam, and Ellsa! We can't go without them!

Abob: "I hate to say it, but the Nazguls that captured them are gone. We might never see them again. They will probably end up in one of Saurons prisions. Once we dispose of the ring, we can free them."

The others look uneasy about leaving the others in the fellowship to the mercies of Sauron, bu they have no choice.

They continue towards Mordor, carefull to be quiet and not to attract attention with the huge army around that is surrounding Gondor.

They make good time for the next three hours and end up about three days from Mordor. They set up camp and solemly make dinner with makeshift pots, pans and spoons. They all cant forget Sam, who had insisted on bringing all his cooking equipment with them...

It was going to be hard without the others......

Samantha-*sigh* Poor Sam. Poor Nev. Poor Ellsa. Without them, our strength is weaker; along with our hearts.

Lauren-We can't give up though. Who knows. They might've escaped the Nazgûl like we did. We might meet up with them later.

Lalaith-she's right. I bet that they've already gotten away from them.

Abob-Don't worry. They'll be fine.

They ate dinner in silence and watched the setting sun untill it was gone, replaced by darkness. But this was no rodinary darkness. It was so black you couldnt see your hand in front of your face.

Their campfire provided barely enough light for them to see the area immediately around their camp.

They went to sleep, Lalaith stood first watch.

Abob lay in his blanket roll, wondering if he would ever see the others again...

Lalaith: Sat watching and thinking I was going to adopt her. I should've protected her....She has already gone through enough....I'll kill you Sauron...By my blade you will die!

Orc: Crys a war cry as he sees Lalaith

Lalaith: You've got to be kidding me! Shoots the orc then runs back to camp GUYS ORCS! Just over the ridge!!

Abob is suddenly awakened by Lalaith, who runs into camp yelling that Orcs are coming.

Abob gets dressed and quickly packs his things. Then he draws his long knife and notches his bow. He climbs up a nearby tree as Lalaith wakes up the others.

Abob: "Lalaith, take the others and run, I will stay here and hold them off."

Lalaith: "No we cant leave you..."

Abob: "This is no time to argue, get out of here, I can take care of myself. I will meet you at the edge of Mordor in three days, go!"

The Orcs are a hundred feet from their camp, and charging foward. They dont see Abob climb the tree, they are watching Lalaith.

Lauren and Samantha start to fight, but they, along with Lalaith, are forced to retreat. Abob sits in the tree and calmly waits for a group of Orcs to pass under it.

Abob pours a potion on them and whispers "kill all the other Orcs"

The Orcs who have been touched by the potion begin to attack their comrades and soon the force of Orcs, Abob counted slightly over two hundred in all, was reduced by half.

Then Abob began to fire arrows at the Orcs, who looked around wildly for their attacker. When they finall figured out he was in a tree they began to set fire to the trees randomly.

Abob climbed from tree to tree by way of the forests canopy of branches. Soon he was far away from the confused and scared Orc force.

He climbed down to the ground and headed for Mordor, hopeing the others were going to be able to meet him there and hadn't run into more trouble.......

Ellsa scanned the vast area of ground. She could see nothing. Fawley, the egale spotted something.

Fawley: Friend Ellsa, look towards Mordor. Tell me what your young eyes can see

Ellsa squints and makes out a faint black shape and imeadatly recornises it.

Ellsa: It's a Nazgul. Fly towards it, Fawley it might have caught one of my friends.

The eagle sored high and fast and came apon the Nazgul with terrifiying speed. Ellsa drew her blade and took a swipe at the confused villan. It wailed and fell from the creature. There was a second scream that was too young to be that of a Nazgul. Ellsa was just about to tell Fawley to dive when the bird went down and hooked the small figure gently in his strong claws. He circled and found a suitable landing place. As soon as they were down, Ellsa jumped down and pulled the small figure of Nev towards her. The poor elfling was shaking and weeping something terrible.

Ellsa: Shh...it okay Nev. It's me, Ellsa

Nev: I was so scared..I thought I was going to ..

Ellsa: Shh..its alright. Nothing will happen to you anymore. I'm hear, with Fawley.

Nev: Who's he?

Ellsa: A great eagle of these lands. He won't let you come to harm. I promise.

Samantha, Lauren, and Lalaith continue running. Samantha's ears pick up a sound.

Samantha-I hear something. It sounds like.....fire?

Lalaith-no wonder. Look behind you.

*they all turn around to see small, burning trees in the distance.*

Lauren-Abob! He was hiding in a tree!

Lalaith-Don't worry. He'll be fine. See?

*they could barely make out the small, tiny figure running towards them. He was shouting something.*

Lalaith-Samantha, your ears are keener than ours. What's he saying?

Samantha-*focuses on Abob* he's saying that more Orcs are coming and that he might've been spotted, and..... *turns to Lauren and Lalaith* that the Orcs have brought some trolls with them.

Abob was running at full speed towards the others, arrows were flying past his head.

He finally reached them, and by then they were ready for battle and had been firing arrows into his persuers for a minute or two.

Abob: "The trolls are just over the farthest hill, we have to kill these Orcs and be gone by the time they arrive, or we will surely loose."

Then the Orcs were on top of their position. Abob swung his knife viciously into the masses of attacking Ocrs, he killed as many as he could, but they kept coming. The battle raged for several minutes, and still the Orcs didnt stop attacking.

Suddenly Abob felt something big and hard hit his head, and then everything went black.....

Ogre: Swings his club, bearing it down upon the three

Lalaith: "This isn't going to be fun...Pushes Samantha out of the Ogre's way then grabs Abob and rolls just barely dodging the attack "Ok that was too close...Illisma!"

Illisma: FInishes killing an orc "Yes?"

Lalaith: "Abob was hurt see what you can do!!" Ducks and dodges another attack by the ogre then finally hands Abob to the approaching Illisma

Abob is not fully aware of what he is doing, or where he is. All he knows is that someone, seemingly from a great distance, is trying to tellhim something. He cant make out what it is they want, but he can hear by the tone of their voice that it is urgent.

He reconizes one of the voices, then two, then three. Reality starts coming back to him.

Suddenly he sits up and sees the battle going on, and Ilisma standing over him.

Ilisma: "Better now, isnt it? Well, you had better rest for a few minutes, but then you can fight."

Abob waited till Ilisma was out of sight, then rejoined the battle....

Abob-she did, *slash*but she doesn't *slash* want me walking yet. *slash*

Samantha-you must be *slash* eager to fight. HAH!!! *stabs three Orcs neatly*

Abob-no, *slash*just eager to *stab* help and get this over with. *slice*

Samantha-*stab* I wish this was over *slash* *stab* too. These Orcs have no end! *dodges the troll's club* *slashes and stabs it constantly. The troll seems nearly unaffected.* And these trolls just won't roll over and die! *dodge and slashes an Orc* How's Lalaith, Lauren, and everyone else doing?

Lalaith-*stab, slash, slice* fine for now.

The troll is joined by the other two and they bear down apon the friends. The Orcs hang back but keep on firing arrows to try and distrack them.

Lalaith: Damm..these things don't give up do they!

Abob: It appears not but keep on going and we might be able to stop them.

Ilisma: Are you crazy! Not even my magic affects them. [sends a purple bolt into one who looks confused for about five seconds and then strikes out at them with more power than before]

Suddenly one of the Trolls gives an almightly yell and raises his club high enought, for a killing blow. The friends gather round back to back and prepare for the impact. Just as the Troll started to move his club down, a sharp pair of talons locked onto his shoulders, while a shape beak sank through his head. It waved and then promtly fell of the troll to its left, killing it as well. The eagle, who had dispacted from the creature sent up an high pitched cry and suddenly twenty-fire others came flying in. Three took on the third and probably most senciblesest troll, while the remainder attacked the orcs with much glea and abundents.

The first Eagle looked towards the group.

Eagle: I am Hawtone, daughter of Fawley, Master of the Eagles are you friends of Ellsa Eaglefriend?

Samantha-yes we are her friends. Where is she?

Hawtone-she is over yonder with my fellow eagels joining the fight.

Lauren-At least she's alright.

Abob-Now we have to find Sam.

Hawtone-but that should wait until later. 'Tis a battle at hand.

Abob: "Hey Lalaith here!" tosses him a potion "Put it on your sword, but don't touch the blade afterwards!!!"

Lalaith: Nods and pours it on the blad "What does this do anyways?" As he cuts into one of the orcs the orc explodes in flames "Oh...Awesome!"

Abob continues to kill the Orcs, neatly stepping out of the way of their clumsy attacks. Finally there are less then ten Orcs left. They fellowship quickly slays them and stits down on the edge of the battle feild to rest.

Abob: "Thank you eagles, without you..."

Hawtone: "We did our duty. Now quickly, get on our backs and we will use the other battle that is taking place around Gondor as a diversion. We will fly you deep inside Mordor."

Lalaith: "Thats crazy, all Saurons troops will be there."

Hawtone: "No, only a very small force of 100 Orcs and a Balrog guard Mordor. The rest of the troops are at Gondor."

They each get on a eagles back and ride off towards Mordor....

*Samantha gets on one as the eagle flies upward into the sky. Flying next to her is Ellsa*

Samantha-It's nice to see you agian, Ellsa. How do you feel about taking on some more Orcs and a Balrog?

Ellsa-I'm all for it when it comes to killing Orcs, but as for the balrog, I'm not sure.

*Lalaith and Lauren come next to them*

Lalaith-True, we didn't actually defeat the last balrog. We just escaped.

Lauren-Narrowly escaped is more I like it.

*Abob comes flying up*

Abob-Well, we'll just have to see if luck is on our side.

Samantha-I hope it's good luck. But we also have to find Sam while we're in Mordor. I hope he's alright.

Hawtone-Almost there. Soon we shall be within Mordor's gates in about 1 hour. Rest now. You had a long fight.

*the group starts to try and relax while ever thinking their next move over carefully. Many of them started to sharpen their weapons and tighten their bowstrings, while Abob was busy making more potions*

Samantha-What potion are you making now?

Abob-It's a potion that should repel the Nazgûl if they should come to stop us, but it's not working as I want it to. It should be ready by the time we get there, though.
