RPG Lord of The Rings:The Re-Creating of The Ring{play}

[Boba Fett]

Abob finished his potion and put it, and several others, back in his small brown pouch.

He took out his long knife and cleaned it. He never needed to sharpen it because the blade was eternally razor sharp. It was always ready for battle, because that was what it was forged for.

Abob then took out his bow and tightened the string, then he took an arrow out of his quiver and notched his bow. It was the perfect length.

Abob put away all his weapons and went to sleep on the eagles back, this would be the last time he was able to sleep securely for many weeks.......

[Deedlit]

*After some time, Hawtone spoke*

Hawtone-Mordor, straight ahead!

*everyone then became alert. All of them could see the dark, dreaded gates of doom that drove fear into hearts of everyone below them.*

Lalaith-I hope everyone's prepared.

*everyone nods*

Lalaith-right. Take us down, Hawtone.

*Hawtone led everyone down into the heart of Mordor. It was dark and gloomy. It was so dark that everyone had trouble seeing their hands in front of their faces.*

Lauren-Why is it so dark?

Samantha-It must be the Dark Shadow that spread across the land back in Frodo and your Father's time. It must be spreading again. At the end of the Third Age, the Shadow spread over the land when the Siege of Gondor began.

Ellsa-Does that mean that Gondor is defeated?

Lalaith-Maybe, but our worries should be here for the moment. If we can destroy the Ring, then the Shadow should disappear and then we can help Gondor. Alright. Let's go!

[Boba Fett]

The fellowship gets off their eagles and bids them farewell. Then they set off for the very heart of Mordor, where a huge, black Mountain is located. It is there that the ring must be destroyed, for that is where it was forged.

They walk for several miles, stumbling and falling all the time because of the perpetual darkness.

Then, without warning, there is a huge explosion ahead. They all immeaditly huddle in a ditch while other explosions randomly happen all around them.....

[Deedlit]

Abob-We've been spotted!

Samantha-no, not quite. *covers her head as another explosion occurs several feet close to them. * He just knows we're in Mordor, but he doesn't know where. That's why he's making random explosions.

*Suddenly, there is a high-pitched wail from the sky. Everyone's hearts skipped a beat.*

Lauren-Great. Just what we need.

Lalaith-Nazgûl. If they attack us, we'll surely be seen!

Samantha-Just lie still and they might pass us by. I bet that Sauron just sent them out to scout the area.

[Boba Fett]

The group huddles in the small muddy and rat infested ditch, while explosions rock the areas around them.

Two Nazguls are flying in sweeping search patterns over the area, although their eyes are not well suited to the darkness.

Abob quitely drew his sword. Then he reached into his pouch and withdrew a black stone vial. He bent over so that nobody would see him open it, then he pulled off the lid. The liquid inside was bright red, and glowing. He put one drop of it inot either of his eyes and the darkness seemed to melt away. His potion was working, he could now see in the dark.

He passed the potion around to the others and they applied it to their eyes, all the while careful to cover the faint red light of the potion with their hands to prevent the circling Nazguls from seeing the light and attacking.

They waited several hours before the explosions moved farther away and the Nazguls returned to the battle that was raging at Gondor before they moved.

They were able to make much better time now that they could see in the dark, they didnt have to worry about falling into one of the bottomless pits that scarred the land.

They walked as fast as they could, wanting to get this horrid part of the journey overwith.......

[Walnut]

[i] Ellsa had felt sorry for leaving the Eagle's but she knew that it would be impossible for them to servive in this dreaded land. She had asked Fawtone to make sure that the Eagle's father looked after Nev until there came a time when they would come and collect her. Lalaith wandered looking anixiously.[/i]

Ellsa: If you fear for Nev, Lalaith then you needn't worry. I found her and she will be staying with the Eagles, well out of harms way.

Lalaith: Thank you. I do worry about her

Ellsa: Right now I'm worried about Mount Doom. For if the ring has been reforged we shall have to get it, befor the fires will quench it forever.

Ilisma: I fear we might be to late. The Ring is already finished, I can feel it. Wait....Sam?

[Boba Fett]

The group watched as a small figure was being carried by two huge Orcs to a cell that had been carved out of a blackened hillside. There was no question, it was Sam.

They wached as the Orcs locked him up and left, then they ran up to the cell. It was made of soild metal, and would be impossible to open without the key.

Sam: "Thank goodness you are here, they are going to kill me!"

Lalaith: "Uh, Sam, we cant get you out, we dont have the key. Where is it?"

Sam: "Over that hill *points north* and in the middle of the Orc barraks, in the commanders quarters."

Abob: "Great, just a whole bunch of Orcs to kill and a key to capture, cant we ever get a break?"

Ellsa: "O shut up Abob, we will go and get that key Sam."

They run off towards the Orc camp, drawing their weapons.........

[Deedlit]

Samantha-*sigh* I'm glad that Sam wasn't locked up in one of the dungeons. It would be hard to go into Sauron's castle without being noticed. Now all we have to worry about is Orcs.

Lalaith-We should be able to handle them, right guys?

all-right!

Samantha-*points over the hill* There they are.

Lalaith-right. Let's go!

*the group charges over the hill to the Orc camp. The Orcs didn't seem to be completely caught off guard, so they were up on their feet sooner than expected.*

[i]They faught hard, slashing left and right. Soon, there was only about 400 left.[/i]

Samantha-There's way too many Orcs here to call this a camp. This is an army!

Lalaith-I know. Hah! *slash* Save yourselves the trouble *slash* and give us the key!

Orc-Are you nuts?!

Lalaith-nope. *he stabs the Orc through the heart.*

*Everyone had their hands full with the Orcs. Suddenly, an Orc crept up on Samantha from behind and hit her on the head with the handle of the sword. She fell to the ground, then fell into unconsciousness. (sp?)*

[Boba Fett]

Abob spun through the mob of Orcs, killing one here and one their, but generally sowing confusion among the enemy forces. He would duck their hasty sword blows instead of blocking them, so that they would hit another nearby Orc.

Abob also started splashing potions on Orcs. They all died horribly. Some burst into flames, some fell to the ground in pain, some even commited suicide.

Abob reached the hut where the keys were kept. It was huge, and something about it didnt feel right. Abob cut open the door and grabbed the keys, to see a Balrog staring down at him.

Abob ran as fast as he could back to the others, who were fighting in a tight circle around Samantha, who seemed to be uncontious.

Abob: "Lets get out of here, I have the keys. Also, there is a Balrog out here, so watch out!"

They flee the battle and head for Sams cell......

[Sui Generis]

Lalaith: [i]Carries Samantha over his shoulder while running[/i] "I'm always stuck doing this!" [i]Laughs[/i]

Lauren: "Only you could laugh at a time like this"

Lalaith: "Lets just say Abob is not the only one who can be sneaky!" [i]Smirks[/i]

Illisma: "What are you talking about?"

Lalaith: [i]Waits for a second[/i] "BOOM" [i]Grins and just as he says it there is a huge explosion behind them, and the sound of orcs dying is heard. They can also here the confusion in the camp[/i] "They already know we are here, might as well kill all of the people who saw us"

[i]They arrive at the cell[/i]

[Boba Fett]

Abob pulls the key out of his pocket and opens the door to Sam's cell. Then they all head away from the battle, not wanting to have to deal with any more Orcs.

Abob: "So, how about we rest here untill morning?"

Lalaith: "No, we have to go at least ten more miles so that the Orcs wont find us."

Lauren: "Fine, but I am tired. Can somenoe carry me? *laughs*

Sam: "Or me? *more laughter*

Abob; "Or how about we get a cart and Lalaith can pull us all! *everyone but lalaith laughs*

Lalaith: "O be quiet. Now come on, we have to keep moving."

They continue to walk towards Mt. Doom........

[i]The sound of laughter could be heard, but it sounded far away. Slowly, the sound became louder, and Samantha opened her eyes.[/i]

Lalaith-I think she's coming around.

Samantha-*opens her eyes and puts a hand on her head* D*** that Orc.

Abob-don't worry. He's dead now.

[Boba Fett]

The group is finally far enough away from the scene of their battle with the Orcs to feel safe. They set up a small camp and eat their rations, which are running low.

Then they all settle into an unesay dreamless sleep. Everyone, execpt Abob, who had first watch. He sat on a small rock, his bow across his lap, his knife in its sheath. He watched the surrounding wasteland for any signs of life, there were none.

Abob wondered how long evil must have held this place in tis grasp, far longer than recorded history, that was for sure. The perpetual darkness that envelpoed the land was stifleing. The very air reeked of evil. This was not the place to be, especially not now, when the darkness was on the rise.

Abob was jolted out of his thoughts by a hand touching his shoulder. It was lauren, who was on watch now.

Abob walked back to his bedroll and fell asleep.......

[Deedlit]

[i]The night passed by with no problems or worries. It was Samantha's turn to stand guard. She went over to the out-cropping rock and scanned the area. It was soon dawn when she went to wake the others.[/i]

Samantha-It's dawn. Time to wake up.

Lauren-So when are we going to set off to Mt. Doom?

Lalaith-After we eat something. It'll do us no good fighting and travelling on an empty stomach.

[Boba Fett]

Abob: So, what's for breakfast?"

Lalaith: "Whatever you are making."

Abob *groan* "Fine, how much food do we have left?"

Lauren: "This will be our last filling meal for a while."

Abob: "We may as well eat.."

They eat their food and walk off towards the imposing shadow of Mt. Doom.........

[Deedlit]

Sam-that's a long climb up.

Samantha-yes, but if we destroy the Ring, it will be well worth it.

Lalaith-we should be able to reach it by late this afternoon.

Abob-well than we better get going.

[Boba Fett]

The fellowship walks as fast as they can go up the steep sides of Mt. Doom. They dont dare stop and take a break to rest, they could be found.

Finally they reach a huge set of doors built into the very top of the mountain. Lalaith takes a bundle of rope from his pack and ties it to one of the huge golden rings that are used to open the door. They all grab part of the rope and pull.

The door moves a few inches. They pull again, the door moves slightly. They continue this hard work for several back-breaking hours. Finally the doors are open enough for them to enter.

They step inside. They are now in a cavern that is so huge it must fill the enire top of the mountain. They are standing on a stone ledge that extends to the middle of the cavern. Below their feet in a pit of lava so hot that it sucks the moisture from the air.

They all slowly walk towards the end of the ledge, getting ready to throw the ring to its destruction.......

[Walnut]

[i] The flames of the lava rage eigher side of them. It was one of the most frightening experiences any of them had gone through. A shudder passed through them.[/i]

Abob: Well here goes

[i] He moved out onto the ledge with his arm extended. The Ring clearly visable, held between his thumb and forefinger. Suddenly there was a sweal of pain and fright. Ellsa spun around to see a armour clad figure. He was tall and it was not possible to see his eyes or his face. In his clutches he held the teriffied form of Nev. Lalaith ran to grab her, but Ellsa stopped him.[/i]

Ellsa: Lalaith no. He'll kill her for certain

Lalaith: Let her go

Ilisma: Come to your sences, that is the lord Sauron and he will defeat you if you are not careful.

[i]Ellsa looks at Ilisma, completely stunned. Ther is a flash of Green light and suddenly there stands a young woman. She has long brazen hair and blue eyes. Her skin is tanned and she wears a long green dress. A staff of Ashwood topped with a crytal flower is held gently in her hands.[/i]

Sam: Ilisma?

Ilisma: Yes Sam, I am Ilisma, or she was me.

Lauren: What do you mean? Who are you really?

Ilisma: I am the Witch of Mother Earth, thats what the people of Gondor called me.

Ellsa: You are the Witch of the Earth?

Ilisma: Yes, dear child. And I know what each of your hearts desire. But as for now...[she turns and the light fades. The woman now looks old and wears tatters. But anyone could tell that she was powerful]...And now Sauron we will finish what we started years ago before you locked me away. Relase the child and prepare to face your impending doom.

[Boba Fett]

Abob watches as Sauron approaches, then he drops the ring into the lava. It falls for several seconds, then hits the molten lava and melts into nothingness.

Sauron screams in rage and falls to the ground, slowly dieing. He reaches to his side and unsheaths a black blade. He uses the remainder of his strength to raise it high in the air, then brings it down on Nev. Abob dives under the blade and it hits him instead.

Abob screams as the sword cuts deep into his chest. The Ilisma shouts an incantation and a bolt of white light hits the powerless Sauron, obliterating him in a flash of light.

Abob lies on the ground, blood gushing from his side....

[Muse]

[I]Lauren walked over to were Sauron had been destroyed, and looked into the white light.Suddenly,An Arm shot out and grabbed her by the neck[/I]

Sauron:This has been done already,And I came back...So im doing the same!The only way to defeat me is to destroy both of us at the same time!

[I]The others watched in terror as the Ring slowly reappeared on his finger.LAuren's eyes slowly rolled back into her head..but,with the last amount of strength,she brought up her legs so she was like crouching down in mid-air,and kicked Sauron off the Edge.She managed to hold onto the end of that ledge,But Sauron didn't[/I]

[Boba Fett]

Sauron screams a hidious scream of pure rage as he tumbles towards the molten lava. Then, with a huge roar, the lava sucks him in, and their is silence. The others stand and watch the lava for a moment , then run over to Abob.

Abob is lying in a huge pool of blood, his eyes are barely open and blood is coming from his open mouth. He looks up at them all, an odd expression of peace in his eyes. Then his eyes close, he has blacked out, and will soon die.

The others gently pick him up and run out of the chamber, to find that Mordor, once dark and hellish, is now covered in sunlight, and grass is growing everywhere.

The fellowship continues to run towards Gondor, carrying Abob........

[Deedlit]

Samantha-What'll we do? Doesn't anyone have a potion or something?

Lauren-I'll check his bag. *opens up Abob's bag. She sees a large number of bottles and vials, but she looks at them all in distress.*

Lauren-There's too many to choose from! None of them have labels!

Lalaith-Ilisma, can't you heal him?

Ilisma-not to fully heal him. My magic is weaker than what it was. Now all that my healing powers are good for is for minor wounds.

Lalaitn-Then we have to get him to Rivendale!

Samantha-That's too far away! He'll die before we leave Mordor!

Lauren-I wish he was awake so he might be able to tell us which vial to use.

[Boba Fett]

Abob heard the others talking, but t seemed as if they were far away. He knew he didnt have much longer to live, and none of his potions could save him now. He needed magic, powerful magic to cure a wound caused by Saurons evil sword. He had to go to Rivendell.

Abob was feeling weaker, he had lost so much blood. He wonders how long he can hold out before the inevitable happens.....

[Deedlit]

*Meanwhile, the group looked about them anxiously as they ran out of Mordor.*

Ellsa-Are you sure you can't heal him, Ilisma?

Ilisma-Yes! I told you already!

Samantha-well then, maybe we can take him to Gondor.

Lauren-That's still too far away! He'll never make it.

*Nevoriel kept looking at Abob. Tears were coming to her eyes.*

Nev-But....Abob....

Lalaith-Nev, don't cry. We'll think of something.

Samantha-Set him down again. We need to change the bandages.

Lalaith-but we have to keep going! We're losing time!

Samantha-Well it does no good to have him bleed to death on the way. All we can do right now is to try to stop the bleeding.

[Walnut]

ooc: Abob, outta curiousity can you still get onto BZ forums?

IC: [i] Ellsa watches as the others try to stop the bleeding. She wishes there was a way that she could help but there wasn't one.[/i]

Ellsa:[to herself] What would you do in a situation like this mother?

[i] She looks up at the sky and suddenly remembers. She looks towards Nev and tries to reassure her[/i]

Ellsa: Shh...its alright. He'll make it

Nev: Don't be silly, we're too far away.

Ellsa: Maybe by walking but not by flight

Lauren: What? What did you just say?

Ellsa: Its far quicker to go the way the crow flies than the hare runs

Lalaith: What?

Nev: She's talking about the Eagles. We get the Eagles to help us.

Lauren: They're too far away though, they won't hear us.

Ellsa: Ilisma...

Ilisma: I've already called Ellsa, they shall soon be here.

[i] Soon the sound of flapping wings can be heard. The look up with hope rekindled in their hearts as Hawtone and several others appear in the blue sky.[/i]
