Fall Posted May 6, 2002 Share Posted May 6, 2002 In an hour show, the commercials take up half an hour of the time, therfore the show is really only half an hour long......... :drunk: They annoy the hell out of me, especially those perfume ads like SSJ Gotenks ok mentioned.... they're talking about a shampoo, in a resteraunt while they're having dinner.... as if you'd talk about shampoo at dinner.... eh, all commercials suck anyway... Vagisil Creme and Viagra commercials I mean they show them during the middle of the day when you know kids are probabally watching telivision. I also hate how the backrounds of th commercials have nothing to do with the actual commercial like the shampoo commercial in the dessert were the women is about to drink the water but she decides to wash her hair instead...why would she be carrying around shampoo on a trip to the desert...? Guy: You have pretty hair and beatufull eyes. Girl: Why thank you. Friend: You are the most spectacular girl I saw. Guy: You are the most beatuful girl i have ever seen. Commercial breaks aren't really that bad as long as they aren't really longer than five minutes...like on MTV...commercial breaks last 10 minutes, no lie. I timed it. But anyways, I like commercials for videogames that are funny. Like the Crash Bandicoot commercials always made me laugh. I even have some of them on tape. And I like movie advertisements, too. The theme of it is "Cant get the taste out of your head".... it's pretty funny, I can't really explain it well.... has anyone else seen that ad? Guy gets into the semi. Guy: Thanks for the ride. Driver: .... Dummy: *loks at guy* ehhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...... Guyn jumps out of the semi. People: you jump out of the car? Guy: yeah I jump out. Dummy: are we there yet? are we there yet? are we there yet...? That's really funny. Some commercials are funny, some are stupid and pointless. Ooh, one I like is when there's a scene on a street where this guy has a booth and he's calling out random phrases..... "'Don't go there.' 'Don't go there', one dollar" "'Get a life', one dollar" and then a person will come up and ask if he has, "Don't worry, it happens to all guys", and the seller says, sure. So he takes the dollar and gives them a wind-up talking doll, and then the person puts it on the ground and stomps on it 'til it's smashed to pieces. It's a Snickers commercial I think.
