I recently bought Soul Reaver 2 for my PS2.. After a while I got to the part where Raziel uses the first time streaming device, and decided to get Soul Reaver, because it'd help me understand the story. I've now completed Soul Reaver and I'm back on Soul Reaver 2, in the Air Forge...

I love both of these games, and wil probably get Blood Omen 2 at some point, but I just wondered if anyone might know the answers to a few questions, or if there is no answer...

1- At the tomb of Sarafan, in soul reaver, there are 7 names on the wall.. why did Kain only reanimate 6 of the Sarafan?

2- Right at the end of Soul Reaver, Raziel sees images of the past and future... one of the future ones shows him killing Ariel.. does this happen in Soul Reaver 2?

that's about it...

ugh, I haven't played the original soul reaver in years, can't remember a blasted thing, lol....

but, I think kain only reanimated 6 of the sarafan because one of them was already reanimated, namely, raziel, I think so anyway, can't quite remember....

no, raziel doesn't kill ariel, that's something I actually remember, lol....

I have another bit of info since he answered your questions.

Don't buy Blood Omen Two, try and rent it first. All you do mainly is flip a lot of switches. And fighting is easy. Does any body else think this?

I don't really care if you buy it or not, just warning you though.

yeah, your right there, but the story is still pretty good, even though SR2's story was better, in fact, SR2 was a better game overall, but there's one thing that I like about BO2....

blood sucking=gooooood, lol

*coughs and then clears throat, adjusts top shirt button, inhales deeply before shouting*

Yeah, I already know that most of the puzzles in Blood Omen 2 are just switches. A bit of a shame really.. but still, I'll probably get it.. I'll probably get it from another world when I do, cos they're selling it for £29.99 rather than £39.99...

What's all this crap in magazines about SR2 having a messed up storyline anyway? I actually like the storyline... (I'm not directing this at anyone here, it's just that a lot of magazines gave SR2 a low score because of the storyline)..

yeah, when I read some of the reviews I was like....

"what kind of crack are they sniffing?!"

but I think they just hate the fact that you cannot skip the really long fmv scenes where the characters are just talking, thats what a few of them said, I think the story is cool, myself....

Probably so... the only reason I could play MGS2 through several times, getting dog tags, was because I didn't have to listen to that crrap over and over again. MGS2 is a good game, but the king of all messed up, implausible plots.. in my opinion... Not that a half-dead, soul sucking vampire is plausible, but it was never meant to be the sort of thing that could happen...
