I heard somewhere that they where making the third one at the same time. Someone like to confirm/deny that for me? (PLEASE confirm it)
I'm pretty sure that The Matrix is going to be a trilogy. Kind of like Star Wars.

However, I heard rumors that the story would actually fit into five movies. So who knows what'll happen...

I also saw the trailors during Star Wars Episode II, and was fairly impressed. Same visual effects, slow down fight scenes, hand to hand combat, guns, and new to this I guess - weapons (of the bladed and blunt ended nature).

From some interviews I read on the net, the next two movies are going to contain a TON more explosions, action scenes, etc. etc. Also in the storyline (which I don't remember where I read parts of these), the Agent that can replicate/copy himself is not a part of the Matrix, and I think is on a personal vendetta against Neo. The blond guys are the new bad guys in the movies I believe, and there is also some fighting going on OUTSIDE the Matrix - Zion is shown too I think? Mixing a bunch of sites words here. . so don't take these 'rumors' to heart. =P

Well its obvious to expect them going to Zion. Also, so if they found The One, that doesn't mean that the Matrix will lose, I bet they will put it so it was different levels of agents. I bet another thing that will happen either in Matrix II or III is that the Robots make it to Zion and have the codes to break into Zion's Mainframe, it would take time, and it would be a battle to the end... I think that would be good to have that in there. There is also going to be a Matrix game... Called Matrix Reloaded. I read about it in a gaming magazine, if I find it [I just got it yesturday] I'll put some stuff on it here, if it has any

Yes, during one of the clips they have what looks like a human army and I think there going to fight the matr|x inside and out side. Hand to hand combat with an advanced robot... hmm I put my money on the robot. Not that I want them to win. Lol.

I'm kinda sad, that the two brothers that made Matrix Unloaded couldn't afford to get Jet Li for II and III....
They said they were thinking of small side-roles for him...

The sad thing is...not that Jet Li rejected them, or they didn't want him,...but the lack of money....c'mon...how successful was The Matrix?!

'Actress and martial artist Michelle Yeoh (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) is being sought to appear in The Matrix 2 and 3, according to a report from Variety. It is rumored that Yeoh may play the role that was once supposedly planned to belong to Jet Li.

Li reportedly chose not to appear in the two sequels to 1999's The Matrix because producers were not able to afford to pay him the salary to which he has been accustomed to. Variety columnist Michael Fleming reported that Li asked for about $13 million for the two pictures, but sources said Li was offered $3 million to work for 11 months on the two sequels, which will be filmed back to back.' --Michelle Yeoh still to be confirmed

gotta eat....add more quotes later...

Yeah I saw the trailer to Matrix Reloaded in the Star Wars II previews. It looks so awesome, I'm definately going to see it. I'm only wary about there possibly being a third- maybe 5?!- parts to it. I mean, unless the storyline is one killer plot with a lot of sideroads, I'm afraid it would become overdone, like the Batman movies or something. I dunno, I mean I hope that if there's more than two the rest will be just as good, but I'm not betting on anything...
