Heaven's Cloud
Xander and Craig continued their deadly dance. The three lightsabers flew through the air, the yellow and silver beams whistling with a electric whine. As both warriors backed to opposite ends of the arena and debated their next move. As Craig raised his lightsabre, a beam of light intensified and blinded Xander slightly. Before Craig could make a move Xander dropped to his knees, his lightsabre falling to the floor. Craig halted, seeing the look of desperation on the former Jedi masters face. Craig(thinking): I can do nothing for him... Craig turned and walked from the arena. The other Jedis muttered amongst themselves, all curious about Xander's condition. All wondering why he so mysteriously left the Jedi order. Only Yoda, Craig, and Xander himself knew the reason. Yoda: Came again the vision did? Xander: I saw it all...the destruction, the violence, the death, every moment, in that beam off light...
Yoda
Craig: I fear that what he sees is the immediate future. Yoda: Explain yourself, master Craig. Craig: This "troop" of Jedi you wish to send to Barkesh.... I fear it may lead into his vision, my master. I sense more than just the military there. Yoda: Compliment you I must, master Craig... your powers have greatly enhanced..... indeed I fear that you speak true, yet... No choice, we have. The jedi have triumphed before, and so they will do again. Craig bowed low before his master. Yoda also lowered his head in a bow. Craig: Is it time to leave yet? Yoda: Yes, prepare your things. Leave immediately, we shall....... may the force be with you. Craig turned and walked back to his apprentice Andrew. Yoda floated back towards his chamber on his floating chair thing, when Mace Windu approached him. Mace: How could Craig's power have increased this much without us knowing? Yoda: Ah, so focused on our enemies we were, that we failed to notice how our own were doing. Mace: Yes, but both Craig and Xander have become stronger than Ki-Adi-Mundi... an elder on the council. Yoda: Aware of Master Mundi's position, I am. A place on the council, they both deserve. Mace: Xander may not accept, he has left the order.... and Craig is devoted to training his padawan, but I feel that he will accept the honour if we bestow it upon him. Yoda: We will tell them, after we go to Barkesh. Another burden, they do not need at this time. ------------------------------------------------------------------ Everyone get ready....... and get to Barkesh..... something big is about to go down, and you don't wanna miss it. Heaven's Cloud
It occured in another life...before Xander had left the Jedi order. He and his paddawan, Ri'lara, had just finished negotiations on Tatooine. The negotiations had been simple, nothing that truly required the Jedi's attention, but it has been enjoyable, none the less. Xander enjoyed having Ri'lara as a paddawan, she was more like a daughter to him then an apprentice, and the free time he was able to spend with her filled his heart with joy. On there way back to the ship, Xander took Ri'lara to a large circus. That is when the attack came. The ground shook with incredible force, causing the stadium to collapse. Xander was knocked unconsious by falling debris. When he came two he found Ri'lara, cut from shoulder to sternum by a lightsabre. Ri'lara had been an excellent swordsman, but she had not even had time to draw her lightsabre. Xander mourned her loss a great deal. Several days later he left the Jedi order to seek out the Sith that killed his apprentice. During his journeys, Xander was plagued by disturbing visions. Visions of warriors of incredible strength, and incredible strength. In time he became obsessed with the dreams, he had come to realize that it wasn't a Sith that killed Ri'lara, but one of these creatures. So Xander began to train....
