Dan L Posted May 10, 2002 Share Posted May 10, 2002 I just checked at GAME's website on the release date of FFX, (in the UK) and found out that FF Anthology (FF4 an FF5) is coming out next week!! Unless they released FFVI on its own in the U.K., I can't see it being called an anthology. An anthology often refers to a collection, thus one game can't be a collection. [/B][/QUOTE] Yeah, FF6 was released a couple of months ago ith a demo of FFX (still waiting for that too).. I think they were expecting anthology, but just got FF6. The game sold a lot just for the demo, though (At least, where I live), So the stores wouldn't let you buy it unless you intended playing FF6... We never got anthology when the US did, so it's recent to us. Though it depends where you are.. this is only in the UK, the US version [i]does[/i] have 4 and 6, but the UK has 4 and 5. I know where your coming from, and i had that theory once before i got the xbox, but now that im use to it, its not so bad, just give it a chance ok! Anyway, back to business. FF10 is on ps2 and gamecube, everyone knows that, but will FF6 be on the ps2 aswell, because since i read this thread, this is the first of the ff6 ive heard! But, you can play PS1 games on the PS2, so why does it matter? Also, I read in EGM that Microsoft has or is going to soon release a smaller Xbox controller. I guess it's supposed to be like the Japanese controller, and it has a more standard button layout. Also, ff tactics will be coming on GBA, as will ff11 will also be on the GCN.In other words, final fantasy is coming back to nintendo again. I know that FF Tactics is being remade for the GBA, Square actually announced that... But I haven't heard any official announcements saying that either FFX or FFXI is coming to the GCN. Um... you do realize that FFIV, FFV, and FFVI are old Super NES games, right? That means 2D sprites, so there'd be no difference in graphics between the PS1 and PS2, except for the few CG scenes that they added. And they're probably just using the same CG scenes from the FF Anthology and FF Chronicles that came out in the US...
