liamc2
Saethi walked along the pavement, keys jingling, from a distance he looked at ease, calm even. But behind the sunglasses was a nervous wreck. The whole ?blown up London, creepy police? thing was really starting to get to him, not to mention the movements in the shadows. He stopped and looked around, shadows darted into corners Saethi: I am really not liking thiiis. . Sound of something locking. .a crossbow? ???: get it! Figures rush out of the shadows bearing stakes, Saethi finds himself looking down the shaft of a nasty looking crossbow bolt, borne by a masked figure. Saethi fidgets, looking nervously around the black cloaked figures, most of them growled back at him. Saethi started to laugh, trying a dry imperious laugh, the group side glanced at one another. Saethi continued to laugh while turning around. .and stabbed the crossbow holder in the eye with the only weapon he had. .his car keys Saethi: *pulls his keys out of the bloody socket* urk. .*grabs the crossbow from the twitching figure* anyone else wanna piece of this? Sere Tuscumbia
Summer slunk along darkened alleys, horrified. Her town that she had worked so hard to protect had become an abomination. It was un-nerving how quiet the neighborhoods were. No radios blaring, no loud voices, shades drawn over every window. Even 6 miles from the center of town and no one dared breathe loud enough to attract the vampires attention. A hint of a TV playing through a window attracted Summer's attention. She moved closer. There was a Volvo in the driveway, 3 to 4 years old. Perfect. Summer hopped the fence with ease; no dog in the backyard. She stared at the door. Heavy and wooden, no glass sliders. Good. Less noise. Summer kicked the door open, the three locks tearing from the frame with a sound that echoed throughout the house. "Oh God!" someone cried as Summer walked through the door. "We didn't invite you in!" They thought she was a vampire. Summer held up her hands. "I don't want to hurt you. If you just cooperate with me maybe I'll even be able to get you out of . . . here." There was no pity in her words. The haggard couple looked at Summer as if she was mad. "Where's your phone?" "Are you trying to leave?" "Where's your phone?!" Summer persisted. The woman pointed toward the kitchen. "On the wall near the kitchen. But don't call, they'll listen! They'll think we're involved!" Summer raised an eyebrow. "Involved?" "They listen to the phone lines! They'll think we're starting a . . . a mutiny!" Summer just laughed. "That won't matter. We'll be gone before they suspect anything. I'm Summer. What are your names?" The woman just shook her head. Summer shrugged, and headed toward the phone. There were several clicks when she picked it up. Summer just stared at the phone for a moment. All the numbers she knew by heart wouldn't work now. Her friends . . . whatever family she had left . . . But there was one number that she knew would work. She quickly dialed, and let out a shuddering sigh as the tinny sound of a phone ringing across the Atlantic reached her ears. "Hello?" The voice was clearly American. There hadn't been such a comforting sound in years. "This is Summer St.Claire." A harsh intake of breath. "This isn't a very funny joke ma'am." "Who in the bloody hell is this?" Summer snapped at the phone, angry and frustrated. "Put Rupert Giles on the phone this instant!" "Oh my God. Is it really you? Rupert Giles has been in Asia for a while Miss St.Claire. Where are you?" "Behind enemy lines and headed south." A muffled pause. Summer assumed the stranger had put his hand over the phone. "The Boston. A recovery team will be there in an hour Miss St.Claire." There was a long sigh. One of relief? Summer didn?t know. "Good luck." Then the phone line went dead, and Summer heard several clicks before she hung up herself. So the vampires had been listening. "Keys to the Volvo, now." The man just shook his head. "No. They'll think we helped you!" Summer stepped up to the man, and socked him in the cheek. She pulled the punch, but it would leave one bloody bruise. He landed on his back on the floor, moaning. The woman handed over the keys from her purse, frightened, but angry. "Now they won't think I helped." "This is helping?" The man moaned from the floor. "You can go to hell." Summer looked back as she stood at the threshold of the door. "This is hell." She hopped the fence again. The car started nicely, its delicate purr humming in Summer?s ears. She had been planning on getting a car . . . before this. But this wasn?t supposed to happen; Summer wouldn?t allow it. She drove slow, pretending to be some witless, frightened resident of this god-forsaken town. But she wasn?t; she was the Slayer, and there was no mistaking otherwise in her thoughts. She sped up, as one of those creepy grey vans slid past her car. Too slow and they would get a good look. Too fast and they would suspect something. There was someone running down the middle of the street . . . in daylight . . . with people chasing him . . . WAY too strange for THIS town . . . Summer drew in a harsh breath as the 16 year old in her recognized the guy running down the street: Saethi. Summer honked once, just to get the masked figures attention . . . . . . then she ran over them. Screeching to a stop next to a stunned Saethi, she threw the door open. "Get in!" she hissed. "NOW!" Saethi obeyed her orders, wigging out, but obeying. Then he noticed the bag of stakes . . . "Summer?" The 22 year old in Summer didn't answer; Saethi was a forgotten memory, but the 16 year old took control, and the real Summer shone through the callousness Summer had built up. "Yeah, it's me. Just in a bad place at a bad time. Let's get out of here." She floored the gas, leaving Saethi barely any time to shut the Volvo's door, and headed south. *~*~~`` Ok, I post the present next time. I'm still developing the plot line there so . . . yeah. Well, 10:23 P.M. here so got to go! ~!*Sere & Co.*!~
Ravenstorture
Spyder stepped out of the cavern and into complete and utter nothingness. It took her breath away, every time. One slip here and it cost you your time. It had to be time, because life here meant nothing, as did existance. Belief here was the key. And that was to shaky to base form on... so here, death was your loss of time. But no mistakes, no mistakes. She remembered her first time here, when she was told to walk across the cosmos of everyhting and nothing and to make no mistakes. At all. Everything was to be perfect. Laughing inside, she thought to herself, "Well, at least it made you a better person." But she wasn't a person. When she was born, she was called an angel. When she grew up, she was a devil. When she began, she was inhuman. By the time she had finished, she was insane. By the time of her first death, she was a vampyre. By the time of her second, she was a daemon. Now, she was nothing, less than nothing, she wa a vacuum of thought and time itself ignored her. Love hurt unbearably. She had always considered herself strong, but here, on the edge of the indescribable, she crumbled beneath the emotion. The fifth element. Her previous being. She breathed deeply, in time, perfectly stable, as she had been taught. Then, she stepped forward, and faltered...

Ravenstorture
...immediately the dark turns to light and everything is blinding. She realised that the poles ad been inverted, and she was in Heaven. Created and existing only out of the beliefs of millions of humans. She swears and stands perfectly still, waiting for her next lecture fromt eh second powerful entity that week. God/ess: What do you want. Spyder: Straight to the point, aren't we? God/ess: Don't **** me around. I don't have time. Spyder: Oh, and I did, so I suppose that made me a worthy candidate? God/ess: You didn't follow the rules, Anne. The being shocked Spyder by using her christened name. Spyder: Why did you not let me die? God/ess: I didn't think you deserved it. Spyder: And why was it your decision who deserved what? God/ess: I created you. Spyder: No, you didn't. You started off a chain reaction that accidentally led to me. Who are you trying to fool? There are no rules. You don't even exist. God/ess: How do you explain this, then? Spyder: You exist only because of an accident. it was coincedence that people came into being. It was back luck that turned them into such vile creatures. It was progression and evolution that made them capable of such destruction. And they created you, and solely for the purpose of keeping their own perception of 'order' and giving them a reason to keep going. God/ess: Why are you talking to me, then? Spyder(crying): Because I needed you as much as anyone else. I am not at fault for my own existance. I cannot be blamed for my actions, because they are not wrong. But I was human, once, even they couldn't fool me to believe otherwise. And I needed you for the same reason they did. God/ess: Why didn't you turn out like the rest, Spyder? Anne: Because I know. God/ess: Know what? Anne: Everything. God/ess: You are right. Tell me, though, who you are. Spyder: I am Spyder. Spyder and Anne are different people. Anne was the person they wanted me to be. Spyder is the person who stands above you now, and I have always been in this form, and this form is stronger every time they tried to repress it. God/ess: And so you knew. You are right. For this, I shall give you what I can. What that is you must tell me. Spyder thought about her life/death-long search for the end, for the non-existance of human life, or at least her own. But then again, everything was a chain reaction and a consequense with something else... and there was no one to blame. She knew the counter made no sense. But she saw the incredible figure standign behind it, and she knew he did not stand behing her ending... Bowing to the creation below her, Spyder closed her eyes and made her wish.

Sere Tuscumbia
OOC: Well, neither of you were the people I asked for but . . . moot point. You posted. *~*~~`` Summer bounced into the area where Alpha and Magnus were. They stared at her, astonished. "Summer?" Alpha asked. Summer seemed unusually chipper . . . "Hi! Five in one night! They were all heading toward the Boston, all vampire looking. I slayed them!" Then she bounced off, but not before dumping the duffel bag on the bed next to Alpha. "You might want these . . . I saw some of the vampires carrying them!" Alpha and Magnus looked at each other. What in the world was wrong with Summer? Her actions, her speech, her voice, everything about her was . . . twisted. They looked from each other to the bag, then back to each other. Then they looked through the open doorway. Summer was wandering around the house like she had never seen any of this before. They needed to open the bag. Axes, swords, crossbows . . . they were all in the bag. Alpha and Magnus knew that vampires tended to go for the older weapons, but things were getting weird when they pulled out several handguns. Then came the strangest of all: a bloody crossbow bolt . . . "Vampires don?t bleed . . ." Alpha whispered. "But people do . . . especially the Slayer . . ." Magnus whispered back, and both of them looked out the doorway again. What had happened to Summer? *~* "Ok. Demonic possession, uh . . . she?s gone mentally insane, she went to the hospital and got wacked up on Scooby Snacks . . . or that?s just not Summer." Alpha was pacing around the small room. They had made sure that Summer, or whatever she was, was in bed and asleep before they had this conversation. "Alpha!" Magnus interrupted, throwing out a hand to stop Alpha?s desperate pacing. "You?re going to wear a hole in the floor if you don?t bloody stop!" "Stop?" Alpha laughed nervously. "Stop?! Our Slayer is GONE Magnus, so now there?s no one to stop Mazine!" "But that?s no reason to go into a bloody panic!" "Then what is?!" Alpha shrieked. "When will it be time to panic Magnus? When things have become too bloody muddled to fix?!" "I don?t know!" Magnus sighed. "All we need to worry about though is whatever in the bloody heck Summer is!" Alpha sat down next to Magnus, dejected. She was losing this battle big-time and she knew it. "Ok, ok. So what happened to our s . . . mall problem with those weapons?" When Magnus looked puzzled, Alpha nodded, small, but still a nod, in the direction of the doorway. Summer was standing there, looking her best at being clueless. Alpha waved at Summer, and then dragged Magnus out of the room. They couldn?t take any chances. Even though the Slayer had only the strength of an ordinary vampire, Magnus and Alpha were no match for . . . whatever that thing was. Summer stared after them. They knew something and that wasn?t a good thing. And with Alpha being one of Mazine?s targets . . . Summer picked up the bloody bolt. They knew . . . . . . and it was time for Summer to say goodbye. *~*~~`` I'm speeding things along because I have to introduce a new character and I can't because I'm still working on the future posts! Walnut
Alpha and Mangus slipped out through and back door and made sure that the doors and windows were locked and bolted. Alpha: That was too close Mangus: You're telling me, but what has happened and how do we sort things out? Alpha: How am I meant to know? I've never seen and Slayer go like this before. Mangus: Not one? It's gotta be something to do with that Mazine...but what? Alpha: I don't know.[she stops and thinks for a few seconds] There actully might be someone who can help us Mangus Mangus: Eh?..someone would help a couple of vampires, and a rather deluisional(sp?) Slayer. Alpha: Yes, The monks Mangus:[confused look] Alpha: The one's who freed me from the cross. The one's who I said I would help if Maz ever came back. Mangus: Any idea where they possibly are! Alpha: You don't happen to have a Yellow Pages on you by any chance, do you? *~* Mazine walked along a stretch of dirt track. She had learned from a couple of vamp and a very drunk deamon that the Graves of the Dammed were hidden in a secrete place. so secrete that any moron could find it. she came to a small clearling and looked at the ring of five stones. Each one bore a name crudley written. Beta, Caros, Delta, Elf and France they were called. there was one grave missing, being Alpha's but a guess was that she had struck a deal with someone in order to servive. She walked foreward and chanted a spell under her breath. No one could have missed the effects. The night sky turned silvery grey and black lightening struck the ground. First of all I went to the depths of hell, where I had a chat to the devil, and then I went to Place of NonEternity and tried to end myself, then I went to heaven and talked to God, I told it that it didn't exist and it said that's right, and I asked it why it didn't let me die and it didn't answer me properly, and then it gave me a choice of achieving something I have wanted ever since I have came into being or throwing it all away and being with you. liamc2
OOC: Saethi is 17 turning 18 :) Or else he wouldn?t be able to drive whoa been a while since I've posted here. .*reads other rpgs* holy crap. .shipwrecked is spammy. .oops. .O_O --------- Saethi looked at Summer and then back at the road again. Summer ignored him, focusing her attention on her driving, roughly changing the gears, the Volvo groaning in complaint. Saethi looked away, ?You know you?re crunching the gear- ?I know! Don?t forget who saved your butt back there!? ?I?m just saying ... it wouldn?t hurt to change gears properly, sheesh. . ,? Sere Tuscumbia
OOC: Are you saying Summer drives like Giles?! I'm hurt. *shrugs* Oh well. Her boffo driving won't matter much anymore . . . *~*~~`` Summer stayed silent. The boy sitting in the seat next to her was someone she hadn?t seen in years, and didn?t care to see right now. 4 years in solitude (A/N: This is 6 years in the future, so there?s a bit of history that Summer hasn?t told us)had built up a wall between herself and any other human being . . . . . . considering you could call Saethi a human being. When Summer glanced over, Saethi was staring out the window, his chin resting on his hands, obviously lost in his own thoughts of what this future was. Summer herself knew what it was: a living hell that only she herself was to blame for. ?Stop it,? she chided herself. ?You?re not to blame. One Watcher dead and the other missing, how could you have taught you?? She chuckled, earning herself a sideways glance from Saethi. Her first Watcher, Ethan, killed by the vampires before her very eyes. She was only 14, and hadn?t even been a Slayer for a full month . . . Ethan was bookish, and tended to lecture Summer about the finer rules of Slaying. Then, only a few haphazard weeks later, Rhea arrived. Her first female Watcher, and a bit more loose than Ethan. Summer liked her better, but all good things had to end. After two years, Rhea was captured by the vampires, just a few months before Summer moved to London with her aunt. Her fate, according to the Watcher?s Counsel, was unknown. Pah. They knew about Rhea and the vampires; they knew about every bloody thing that passed their way! The bloody Watcher?s Counsel couldn?t keep anyone in the dark for long though, word was going to get out about Rhea . . . Summer still wondered about Rhea, whether she had died, escaped, or was just being held for ransom. Summer would soon find out. When they reached a main highway, Summer faltered in her plan. It would be too obvious to go down the main way . . . she took a right and went down an access road. Saethi gave her another sideways glance, but didn?t say anything. Summer didn?t care. All she wanted was her bloody town back . . . she wanted her youth back. The smattering of gas stations and cozy little homes with their lights shining out of front windows gave way to trees on both sides of the road. A gentle rise curved around and through the dense woods, and Summer became alarmed. She couldn't remember a forest on this road, and she couldn't afford to be lost. The Volvo crested a hill, and then began its slow descent. There, in the distance, were several cars parked in odd angles, completely blocking the road. Summer muttered several choice words, there in the greenish glow of the dashboard. She reached to turn off the headlights, but that was stupid; the vampires would have known she was coming long before she knew they were there. "It would be a good idea to fasten that bloody seatbelt of yours," Summer warned Saethi, when her foot came off the brake. He looked over at her, alarmed, his eyes expressing the same message that her brain was screaming at her: 'Don't die!' 'Working on it,' she replied silently. Vampires popped up from behind the cars, their faces lit up brilliantly by the glare of headlights, their eyes bright with hidden fire. More came down from the sides of the road, converging in the middle, their bodies silhouetted by the headlights. Summer grinned. The Volvo was doing better than sixty when it rammed into the roadblock. There was a screeching of metal like nothing Summer had ever heard, and she was thrown forward, the seatbelt catching, bruising her, breaking a few more ribs; then the airbag erupted and thrust her back against her seat. The grill off one of the cars she rammed into twisted, and punctured a tire. The Volvo slewed to one side, then flipped, heading for one side of the road. Summer cracked her head against the driver?s side window hard enough to break it, and she sank into blessed unconsciousness for a moment. Her eyes fluttered open. Shouts of pain and fury reached her ears, and her ribs felt like they were on fire, her head like someone had taken a hammer to the inside, but she built up a wall between herself and the pain. There was no time for that. She looked around for the bag in the surprisingly upright car. Her gaze roved around, and then settled on Saethi. Maybe she should have left him with the guys in the street; he was worse off now then before. He was slumped over, and his right arm rested at a funny angle. Ouch. The airbag was pressing Summer against the seat, so she reached out for a piece of the shattered windshield, and punctured it. As she looked out the shattered windows, she noticed the vampires beginning to cluster around the ruined vehicles. Then a figure rising up from the mangled mass threw her for a loop. She remembered a conversation with Alpha, where they had discussed Maz and her brothers. From the looks of things, this one was the one called Falineic. The vampires were about thirty feet away. If she didn?t move now, they would regain their masses, and pull her, and her unfortunate passenger, out of the car. She grabbed the bag, which she found resting by her feet, and grabbed the latch for the door. It popped, but did not open. Summer was locked in. But there was Plan B; she threw the bag out of the ruined window, and climbed out after it, the shards of glass pricking her arms and legs. "If it isn?t the ickle Slayer," Falineic crooned. "I thought she was a pet; a tame, ickle kitten." From the look on his face, and the vampires surrounding him, they thought she was going to run away. Well this was it. No more running. She strode purposely towards the vampires, and climbed on top of the only remaining vehicle, which had slid several feet away when Summer had rammed the other two cars. "You know what? I?m really sick and tired of you and your stupid little friends. First you capture me, stick me in a bloody little cell, and then you make me bloody murder one of my bloody kind!" She held up her hand when Falineic tried to intervene. "Then, you terrorize the people of MY town, which I am bloody pissed about, and try to kill me! I am NOT a happy girl! AND, you have the worst fashion sense that I?ve ever seen!" "Right, right. That?s just brill. Now get off that car you stupid b*tch and come here!" Summer jammed her hand into the bag at her side, and pulled out a flare. "Let?s get two things straight. I am NOT stupid," "Right, sure. Now get down here!" She lit the flare, and Falineic figured out what she was doing right before she did it. "Nor am I a b*tch." Too late. Summer threw the flare into the pool of gasoline that spread around the road from the cars, and around the feet of the vampires, then sprinted toward the tree line. With a sound like a flag flapping in the breeze, everything was ripped apart, and several vampires were incinerated on the spot. When the flames hit the second tank, it just got worse. Imagine fireworks times about one thousand or two. That was the resulting explosion, which threw Summer into the underbrush, and left her back feeling like she had just stepped out of a oven. Her arms and legs stung, and she ached like she had been worked all over. But she, and likewise for Saethi, were alive. She looked down, surprised to find the duffel still clutched in her hand, and then looked up, surveying the sodding mess she had created. Several more of the vampires were dust, and on the other side of the blaze, she saw only a few running up the road in the opposite direction. Falineic was nowhere to be seen, so she assumed that he was done for. She was right. It was easy enough to wrench the door off of Saethi?s side of the car. He was still in pain, but conscience. "Geez. You do this much?" She smiled, and laughed. "I?ve done worse. Try burning down half of your school." She pulled his left arm over her shoulder, and supporting him around the waist, headed into the trees, still headed south.
liamc2
Saethi rolled his eyes at what had happened, ?Talk about out of the fat and into the fire,? he sighed, ?People say that things come in threes. First of all, I lost my humanity. Then I lose my family and my bike, then after that I lose my best friend and the car he gave me, GOD DAMMIT! Why can?t people say that when something goes bad, its never going to get any better!? Saethi looked at Summer, apparently ignoring him. ?You don?t have to carry me you know. Bloody hell! This all started to take a cliff like downhill when that crossbow bolt came at me,? he sighed, ?I would stake myself, but what?s the point? Not only am I a coward when it comes to suicide, but the stake doesn?t work.? Summer stopped at this. ?What do you mean a stake doesn?t work?? ?It doesn?t work. Full stop. Do I have to spell it out for you?? ?No, what do you mean the stake doesn?t work?? ?Some vampyre b*stard already tried? At this point Saethi stopped leaning on Summer and pulled a stake out of his jacket, a stake that was tinted black. ?See? The creep stabbed it in my heart, I hope the irony of a black-hearted vampyre isn?t lost on you.? Summer looked over the stake, examining the point closely before glancing back at Saethi. ?Are you saying that this hit you dead on in the heart, and you aren?t dust? Where?s the wound then?? ?Healed? ?Right, when exactly did this happen?? ?Oh about four hours ago when I was landed in what I think is the future. God this place creeps me out, all those weird people giving me funny looks, not to mention the police that run away as soon as they see me face!? Saethi sighs and leans against one of the trees, sliding down to the ground. ?Just leave me here, this hell will not get worse for me. No matter what dimension of it I?m in.? Jesus Chicken
Cathos woke in a hospital, pain coarsing through his body. Cathos remembered being on a train to go and visit his brother. Cathos knew he wanted to get away from this stupid mess that resembled his life at the moment, but there seemed no escape. Cathos decided against visiting his brother. As soon as the nurse comes I shall phone Davien. I need to tell him what I think and find out what to do.
Walnut
ooc: Sere is Alpha in the future or not? IC: Maz stared at her minions. They were in a right state, they weren't even remotely viscious looking. They all appeared to be dead and were definatly not moving. Maz: Great....I bet Alpha had something to do with this. liamc2
OOC: well when you get bored. .you make really long posts in microsoft works Summer sighed. Now was not the time for someone to be stubborn, especially with the area so active with vampyres. No, the area around them so active with vampyre. ?How nice of you to wait for us. Now if you don?t mind, we?re going to kill you now? the lone vampyre smiled, guessing what Summer was thinking, ?No my language is not incorrect St Clair,? he snapped his fingers, ?We?re going to kill you now!? Out of the shadows emerged an army of vampyres, it seemed killing Falineic struck a nerve with them. A few last vampyres dropped from the trees, running to take their places with the others. Summer twitched, while Saethi sat with his mouth hanging open. ?Summer,? he asked, ?Could you do a guy a favour and pop his arm back in? I think you?re going to need the help...? Summer reluctantly nodded and walked over to him, strangely enough the vampyres did nothing until the loud crack echoed, announcing Saethi?s arm was back in place. Both he and Summer stood, facing the group in front of them, Saethi transformed and removed his sunglasses while Summer tightened her grip on the stake. ?You?re one big hunk of vampyre bait aren?t you?? ?Yup,? Summer smiled, ramming the stake into one of the closest vampyres. Saethi followed suit and openhandedly slapped another vamp into a tree, snatching his pistol and emptying the clip into another. He continued to use the empty gun to pistol whip the rest, leaving quite a few broken jaws and removing IQ points left and right. Summer on the other side of the pack made her way through to the leader of the vamps. She swung the stake behind her, something shrieked and exploded into dust, the leader smirked and walked back. His place was taken soon enough however, a team of vampyres rushed forward, each brandishing a crossbow and a quiver of bolts. ?Crossbows?...why not guns?...ah sh*t? Summer spun round to call out a warning to Saethi as the first volley flew out. ?Eh? Wassamatter?? Saethi smacked another vamp and turned to the voice...and cursed. Summer tried to peer through the cloud of dust while avoiding the fire from more vamps on the side. Another volley of bolts was released, more shrieks came and more dust exploded into the sky. Summer had seen vamps kill their own before, but not on this scale... ?Hold fire!,? the now familiar voice of the unknown leader rang out. The dust settled and a hunched figure was revealed, a pool of black blood had formed around it, but it was alive. Saethi raised his head, and stood, staring straight into the face of the remnants. He ripped out the bolt from his heart, that was no cupids arrow. His normally blue eyes had dulled to a solid grey, no feeling or emotion was behind them, just a window to his soul of stone. He shuddered, hands twitching, the knuckles were bleeding profusely, not to mention the blood freely pouring out of the sides of his mouth. Summer stood with a fixated horror, absentmindedly staking something that leaped at her. Meanwhile, Saethi shrieked and doubled over, folding his arms around his waist. After a while there was silence, then he looked up and roared. Two long knifelike teeth had grown, the rest of his mouth had shrunk, Summer shuddered, those were working teeth...Saethi licked the blood from the sides of his mouth, and raised his hands. His knuckles had large bony outgrowths, nails had grown into steely claws. All the while the cold grey eyes focused on the remnants, the frontline shook and fled into the stakes of those behind them. The leader smiled and beckoned Saethi forward. Summer crept to the side, Saethi had provided a distraction, all she needed to get at the leader...she?d deal with the mess later. Saethi ran forward, slamming his fist into the first vampyres face, an oddly satisfying squelch replied. Saethi continued through the group, creating a spoor of bleeding and convulsing bodies. Soon Saethi was gazing into the eyes of the leader, as he raised his fist to hit the face, it exploded into a cloud of dust. Summer shoved the stake back into her belt and looked around the carnage. This was not good. Saethi watched her beadily as she walked around and staked the survivors. Something snapped inside his mind, blood was trickling down the side of her arm...he shook his head...something told him not to...but he leapt anyway... Summer turned to see Saethi charge at her, ?Oh sh*t just what I need..,? just as Saethi got closer, she spun round and collided her foot to his head. Saethi fell to his knees, detransforming into his normal self, with the exception of the cold grey eyes...
Sere Tuscumbia
OOC: Ha. I still write more than you . . . except for the fact that I had asked for Writer's Block when I needed it, and didn't get it until I didn't need it . . . phooey. And Sarsy, yes, Alpha IS in the future. I'm trying my best to get to where she is (which should be one or two posts from now) so you can start working on getting her character posted. My so-called "gift" for writing's getting in the way. And speaking of the future Liam, where in the bloody heck are we going to have the 23 year old Saethi? Dead, on the good side (with Alpha and Co.), on the bad side (Maz and her last remaining brother), holed up in a secret government institution getting a chip in his head so he can't bite anyone, skipped town, what are we going to do with him? I NEED TO KNOW! It's driving me insane . . . And it's St.Claire querido, get it straight. *~*~~`` Summer knew she shouldn't, but she walked over to where Saethi was huddled, and viciously backhanded him. "What in the bloody Jesus were you thinking?" Saethi said nothing, his eyes staring into the distance. Summer growled under her breath. "Ok, you insensitive self-centered bloody bugger of an b*stard. I don?t care if you?re vamp?" "Half," Saethi interrupted bitterly. "I?m half vampire. Get it right." "I don?t care about what?s right and wrong in this bloody sodded world right now! I just want home back!" The defenses around Summer were crumbling, and the defenseless, shaken girl who had lost her home was showing through. "There is no right or wrong here now! And it?s only because you and your bloody kind killed me off, and then stuck me into a itty-bitty bloody cell, and made me kill another Slayer, who was only a year younger than me --" she caught herself, in a moment, and changed, softly, "year younger than I was . . ." "Hey, wait a minute here." Saethi looked up at Summer, his eyes slightly unclouded, but still cold enough to ice over the Gulf of Mexico. "You said that "my kind" killed you?" Summer slumped down against the nearest tree, rubbing her eyes. She would not cry. "Yep. That?s me: the Undead of the Year. Juniper told me that just before I had to . . . kill her." It hadn?t even been a day since Juniper?s body lay at Summer?s feet, and talking was becoming hard for Summer. "Yep. Don?t know when, don?t know how. Even though I have an inkling . . ." "I died." Saethi murmured. "The day I was turned, I died." Summer laughed, bringing a surprised look from Saethi. "No. You aren?t dead. Despite what you believe, there?s still a little human in you . . . enough to matter anyway. You won?t be truly dead until you let it go." Saethi just stared at Summer. Summer laughed again, then stood, and walked over to Saethi. "You could die right now you know." Bending down, she whispered in his ear, "I?ve heard the blood of a Slayer is addictive. Once you get one taste, you can?t stop . . . you want more. They?re plenty of Slayers in the world . . . you could kill us off, one by one, then go back and do it again . . . over and over. Totally give in to your vampire side . . . that?s what dying?s like Saethi. It?s painful, and inhumane. So why not die, hmm? I?d let you kill me . . . it?d be easy . . . and then maybe I?d go to where I belong . . ." Saethi leaned back, eyes wide, as he was startled out of the twisted reality he was in. He turned away, as he saw the gash on her lip, the blood trickling down one arm. It was hard to resist the pull of the demon inside him, and Summer saw that. She smiled, and leaned in once more. "You want do die, don?t you? I?ll break a few ribs going down fighting, sure, but as a vampire, you?ll heal nicely. Maybe you?ll find some nice little vampy chick to run around with . . . it?ll be fun, won?t it?" Saethi just stared at her again. Summer chuckled, stood, and turned away. Then turned slightly back. "We have about thirty minutes until the extraction team arrives. Coming or not?" She turned, retrieved the duffel bag, and then started walking, not bothering to look back. Let him decide. *~*~~`` Liam, let me take care of the extraction team part. I know where I?m going in this, and who?s going to be there. K? However, if you feel the desperate need to post and get this over with, then PM me and I?ll give you the main points. The rest would be up to you. And wasn?t this thing supposed to be about the Master . . ? *sweatdrop* Creative juices really twisted this one up . . . =)Sere(=
liamc2
Saethi sat and watched Summer walk away. He could follow, but could easily not and stay in this hole. The feel of darkness was good, soothing even. He stood and pulled his sunglasses out of his bloodstained pocket. He looked down at them for a moment, then gave in and put them on, jogging after Summer.
Walnut
Alpha and Mangus had wandered around. Completely unsure of what to do. If they went back to Summer they would have no idea what was up with her and if they faced Maz without her....well things would get more than messy put mildly. They had come to a dark wood in the middle of no where. the tree's were bear of leaves and there was nosign of life. Even from the six bodies that were strunned on the floor. Alpha stopped and turned around. Alpha: Oh ****! I'm in trouble now Mangus: How...they're just a bunch of dead things that look like they've been dead for a few centries. Alpha: They have been dead for a few centries. They're the remains of the other minions. The ones I had to kill. Mangus: But why are they out of their graves? Alpha: She's trying to ressurect them
kelz_world
ooc: Hiya Sarsy, yes I've finally managed to join only one problem you gave me the wrong link you spelled Otaku like Otaky so it took me awhile. IC: Suddenly they could hear a russle of leaves from the path up ahead. The atmosphere suddenly became clammy and erie Sarsy took a step back. Sarsy: "Did anyone else hear that noise"? The others shook their heads in bewildered looks, Sarsy didn't panic but moved closer to where the sound was coming from, she was closely followed by the others. They left the lying corpses on the floor. Eventually they reached what looked lie a cave with jagged rocks standing outside the entrance. They hesitated for a moment before they entered the cave, but when they did they were going to wish they hadn't.... :demon:
