I hate thsoe short shorts. theysuck so muchand make you look like a slut! I see all the "popular" girls wearing them and I just think: "slut" to myself.
anyways, if you're looking for non-slut shorts, try the gap, or kids gap(i'm a small person so I fit into them). you could also take a pair of your jeans and cut them, but I don't know how that would go over with your mon. ;)

i like short shorts on girls, but of course i do...i am a guy...but anyway...i go to a private school and the guys have to wear khaki or blue pants and blue, green, white, red, yellow, or maroon polo shirts...the girls wear blue, khaki or green or gray pants and the same shirts

I like to call them preps. As much as they deny it, sometimes, they know that they are the rich, snobby, popular, most [supposedly] admired people on campus. The Girls seem naturaly gorgeous, and the guys seem naturally buff. I really wish that some of the girls would actually take the time to look down at us lower class peasants. I say that, because, living in plano, which is on of the richest Cities in America, it seems that almost everybody is rich. Its like some of those preps dont want to spend the time of day on us.

I am on of the middle average guys. If you looked in the yearbook, you would see my pic, and say" Hey, I knew him. He was kind of quiet, never really was well known. Oh well. "

However, back to the topic. Our dress code is strictly enforced on everybody but the preps. I mean, The punks, dont give ashit, and wont listen:D :demon:

The average just roll their eyes, change, and whine about it later.

The Dorks, well, they dont get talked to, because, lets face it, some of them just dont wear cvlothes that violate that code.

The ravers, we just are smart about it, and dont get in trouble.

The Stoners[ now thats almost my whole school] we are to blazed to care whats going on.

Sorry for the ranting above. I had to get it out of my system. We got our yearbooks today, and there are just to many preps in there that will pay one day. :devil:

I hate that! I have to wear a uniform and I'm in seconday school (I think that's junior high or something in America), but out of school everyone wears such slutty clothes. It really annoys me. Personally, I wear what I like, and if someone doesn't like me for it then that's their problem!:therock:

I think too much emphasis is being put on what people wear anyway. Not by you, Cera, but just in general. For instance, when you(Cera) wore the spoofed A&F shirt to school people had a heart attack because they thought you wore something 'preppy'...that's just ridiculous.

As BG stated, once you get into high school, no one cares anymore. People get over what's 'cool' for the most part and wear what's comfortable, or whatever they want to. Hence, the Birkenstock trend.

I [i]really[/i] can't stand it when people go around prep-hating. Sometimes(this may not include you, Veggito) I notice that people spend so much time hating preps, that they become what they are hating. They spend so much effort to avoid preps or exclude them(and then they complain that preps avoid [i]them[/i] and hate on them) that they do what they say that preps do.

Now, I'm not saying that either side is completely innocent. But it rattles my chickens when people complain about other people doing the things they themselves do.

We get a detention if we don't have our top button done up! Also, we're not allowed to go to a restaurant or something ater school, else we get pulled back by the teachers for a detention.

-There are no groups of people.
-Anyone who puts on clothes they are not supposed to gets in trouble. There are only a few options. All of that expensive stuff is not allowed.
No, clothes are not a big deal at my school.

I know that some people may not agree with me, but we still live in a largely male dominated society the world over. The reason why men are seen as "Studs" if they sleep with many women is because their male friends see it that way, and make it a compliment. The jealous girlfriend/lover's view would not be heard, but it would be drowned out by the male's views. Same with women. If a girl goes around sleeping with loads of guys, some guy along the line is going to get jealous, and label her a "Slut", as he is jealous of her sleeping with other guys. Their view will be expressed more publiclly, and God knows why, taken in more, and therefore she will be branded a "Slut" by people.

Oh, c'mon, you know she's right, how else would sluts get the name sluts? Girls shouldn't go around dressing in innaproapiate clothes, showing off their bodies and doing "stuff" espically if they're in the age group of going to school. Maybe college students, but any younger is just plain trashy to me. I have no disire to do stuff like that and I don't know why some women insist on doing those kinds of things out in public. Alright, here's the rule of thumb a lot of people here go by:

If you're not mature enough to talk about it, you're not mature enough to do it.

If I hear 14 and 15 years old's going on about the 'stuff' they did with their boyfriend or whatever guy, then they shouldn't be doing it. I'm against 12-16 year olds doing [i]anything[/i] of a sexual nature in the first place. But, of course, that's just me. Typically 17+ is when you've lived and learned a tad more, and isn't so disagreeable.

There's that out of the way. On the specific issue of [i]sluts[/i].........
Certain people with certain objectives in mind are going to attract others with those same objectives. A horny girl is going to attract a horny guy, and vice versa, that's the way it is. People shouldn't really look down on other people just because their motives for gratification are different. I don't agree with being flippant with sex, but that's me. I may find the concept of sleeping around with a bunch of people to be rather degrading to someone's self-respect, but that's my own moral code. In fact I [i]am[/i] for abstinence until marriage, and I consider myself to be an open-minded individual. There's nothing wrong with controlling one's sexuality and being a virgin. I know I'm not ashamed of it. My point is people shouldn't look down on a person just because of their choices. Slut, whore, prude, goody-good, labels aren't necessary, everyone ought to just respect people.
