Guest BulmaVegeta1
I think that horse movie looks...well.....stupid. All my friends are 13 and 14 year old girls and they think it looks so "cute" or "sweet." I think it's a children's movie. I haven't watched a g rated movie in a couple orf years. Anyway, we all got into a big fight about it, I have nothing against horses, actually, I'm a real big horse lover, but I still think this movie looks stupid. I'm not going to see it for sure. Maybe it's "heartwarming" but they'll have to play it without me. That's just my point of view. If any of you think it's the greatest movie ever made or looks so cute, that's your problem. But I'm not saying anything.
Guest Matt
It looks like a big sappy movie. The only thing good that I can say about it is that the animation is good.
Anna
Eh, I don't have a problem with G-rated movies, I've never really been disappointed by Disney except maybe the Hunchback of Notre Dame (the black and white one is much better anyway). The 'horse movie' isn't exactly on my toplist of to-see movies, but I wouldn't mind seeing it if opportunity arose- and I wouldn't have to pay for it ^_^. The Vampire: Ed
Yeap, well that movie sure does look boring. I mean how much entertainment can you get from watching some animated horses running around? I couldn't imagine any at all. It's a stupid movie. Well, this was a pretty open and shut topic.

Anna
Feh, I see this as a bunch of kids putting down Disney to make themselves feel older. LOL! :haha:
Guest Matt
I am older. I even went as far as to say that the animation is the best I have seen for a non-computer animated movie. The story just seems to be crap.

Lia
I also think the animation looks very well done. i'd pay to see it, hehe i have nothing wrong with Disney Also, BulmaVegeta(the topic starter) I've seen a couple of your topics about upcoming Disney movies, please stop being so negative about them. The are mostly made out to please the younger audience and doesnt mean "oh i'm old, Disney is for little retarded kids...its stuuuuupid" its very immature of you. If you are so "grownup" then you should be able to realize its more for the yonger portion of the adience, though there is nothing wrong with any age level seeing it.

LOL! :haha:
Heh, heh. I'm not sure about everyone else, but that's definitely wrong in my case. So nah! :p LOL. Anyway, I wasn't necessarily putting Disney down. Just this movie. The thing that was different about all those other Disney movies compared to this Spirit movie, is that in those movies the animals/characters talked. The horses don't seem to talk in this movie, so it seems like it would be really boring. Also they were more based on comedy as well as drama, and etc. That made those movies entertaining, but this movie looks to be heavily drama based with the main characters unable to speak. Not much they can do besides run around, and I suppose interact with the human seen in the commercials.

If you think I'm immature, well, good for you. I can name another 50 people here that act immature, including you. Movie topics aren't just here to talk about how CUTE or SWEET a movie is. Anyone has the right to criticize it, and you have no right going around telling people they're immature just because of what they beleive in. I never said I hated this movie, I just said that it seemed kind of boring since it is well below my age group, and everyone that has posted on this topic agrees with me, except for you, of course. It's nice that you like children's movies and wish to go see this, and I won't say anything about it. Just don't critice people when you have no idea what you're saying. Actually, don't open you mouth at all. If you don't like what I talk about or what I post or don't even like me, then STAY AWAY!

As for all of you, please don't criticize people for what they think because I don't want people feeling like they need to lie about how they really feel about a movie. I'll gladly admit that I'd like to see the Spirit movie with one of my friends who is a huge horse person...and I'm older than all y'all :p

I am actually almost 19, but according to Otaku I've been 100 for three days straight. :whoops: Therefore, I declare this movie. Spirit, to be a crappy movie for all ages to see. If you wanna see a real horse, one that actually talks, might I add, I suggest you find some old video tapes of Mr. Ed.
Charles
I don't know why everyone is so concerned with age when talking about Disney movies. Generally, they're family movies. Thus, they are directed at audiences of all ages. If you think about it, most Disney movies have an underlying message and teach people about dealing with death, greed and vanity. The main reason people immediately don't like this particular movie, is because the advertisements are put together poorly.
Nerdsy
It looks like a good movie to me. And for the talking arguemen... Have you ever seen Homeward Bound? (I think that's the name, can't remember) In the original version, the animals couldn't talk. But in many ways, it was just as good and even better than the remake with the talking animals. But, of course, that romantic subplot is a turn-off... I'm so sick of it. That's why I like to watch old movies without romantic subplots, like Marry Poppins, or Power Rangers the movie. (Yes, it may have had somewhat of a Romantic subplot, but it lasted about 5 seconds)
