Have any of y'all ever seen a music video, Anime or otherwise. I don't mean the kind of ones that you see on MTV and such but the ones that your average Tom, Dick, Harry or Multimedia producer, makes in his/her spare time. I have made a few and am making a lot more, as I am getting all 14 DBZ movies in DVD quality tomorrow most of them will be Dragonball based. But just out of interest have any of The Otaku lot ever seen/made a Music Video of a film or of an Anime etc etc???

I've never made one, but I've seen a few. I saw about 10-15 DBZ videos, and I saw one Kare Kano music video, it said "Pop up Video", but I couldn't tell if it was really a VH1 video or not, cuz I've never seen an anime video on VH1 before.......:therock: I don't know, maybe I just don't watch it enough.......^^

Oh, that sucks I'de bet you could make a pretty awesome video. I would make some too but I have a lack of the equipment, software or the ability. If you wanna see some good one's pm me about them, last time I posted a profit site Rick told me not to do it again.
O,o
Now I'm off to save the world.

;) Its ok to talk about music videos related to anime, however please do not talk about programs where you download movies from since this is clearly illegal!

Well... cool! :toothy: Oh and by the way if any of you want a program to make Music Videos of any type i would like to recommend Adobe Premiere, its the one The Elite DBZ and I use, it comes with a lot of cool effects and stuff and is relatively easy to use.
But then again we have had it for about a year and are still playing around with the effects, but we figured out most things. Contrary to popular opinion I do not get paid for saying that. :toothy:

I've seen a few. I saw one that was set to "Wait and Bleed" by Slipknot and it was Samurai X. But yeah, all the ones I've seen are good. And there is one on MTV, which was Daft Punk's "One More Time" which was made by Leiji M. (can't remember how to spell his last name), the guy that did Galaxy Express 999. And it was awesome. And the way they ended it, I thought there was going to be a sequel.

I have several music videos for Trigun, DBZ, gundam, and a few others for anime in general. The ones i have are all pretty cool and like 3 of them are just hilarious. The funny ones are Shaggy "It wasn't me" to Trigun, "Macho man" to trigun as well and "Particle man" to DBZ

Well technically the videos on AMV websites contain illegal material, unless they have gained permission from the company who produces the anime. But yes, I also reccomend adobe premiere 6.0, has some brilliant options and is relatively easy to use even if you've never tried making an AMV before.

heh, you'd be surprised how many good DBZ music videos there are out there...I have three DBZMV's on my comp. one set to "intergalactic" by the beastie boys (a must see, very funny!), "a cure for the itch" and "in the end" both by linkin park. If you see any of these three videos GET YOUR BLOODY HANDS ON THEM! it's worth the download time my friend....

And I'm trying to make my own anime music video set to "dude looks like a lady" by arowsmith because I seem to come accross a lot of clips where your favorite anime characters are cross-dressed......

Yeah, I've seen tons on Cowboy Bebop, most the Final Fantasies, a few on dbz, some on Pilot Candidate.... Oh yeah, if you want to showcase you music videos at a site where they'll be watched by a whole bunch of people, go to www.animemusicvideos.org. The place is a really good site for getting your stuff out there.

I've seen one on Trigun, which was "Why Don't You Get a Job" by the offspring, and it was hillarious, Metallica "No Leaf Clover" for DBZ, "In the end" by Linkin Park for Vegeta, "The Dolphins Cry" by Live for Vegeta/Goku fights, anyway, all of them are good, I've seen more, just can't remember them right now lol
