If someone touches a wasp for the first time and it stings them, they will remember the next time they see that wasp that its is a danger to them. Perhaps you should read my prior posts. I did not say that I was defending Clinton in a political sense...I frankly don't care what he did as President. That isn't my concern and it's [i]not[/i] what I"m talking about.

Somehow you've made this into a Bush v Clinton argument when it isn't.

I merely said that Bush is being reactive rather than proactive. Had September 11 not occurred, do you really think Bush would have sent troops to Afghanistan? Do you really think that there would be this huge focus on national security?

Of course not. Bush is reacting to the disaster in the same way that anyone else would...that's what I'm saying. I'm also saying that you can't possibly blame Clinton for terrorism or for "low national security", because at that point in time, the threat level was not properly known.

Hmmm, I'm not really looking to get heavily involved here. But, I just had to laugh at how strange that excerpt from your post is. You say that our country is actually looking at who comes in. Well, um they can't be looking too closely judging by what I've read. It seems like they just make excuses and pile them on more excuses. Yes, alot of countries do whats in their best intrest all the time. [B]BUT[/B] we also help other countrys. This is some thing that America dose not do. The reason America is criticised all the time is becouse it puts its self up as the best, which is very ignoret and the rest of the world is trying their best to help and America comes along (doing nothing to help other countries) and says its the best in the world.
