dude, your full of it.
u.s.a. isnt the nasty propaganda state you want to think. i also want you to know that your objections to the u.s. is really just giving people like me of what a fool you really are.
come on dude.... get over your anti-establishment/america thing and try looking at the real world.
So you're so blinded by your own foolish sense of patriotic love for your country, that you can't see the problem here? I don't think anyone here is anti-america as you put it... Sure, their policies on letting people in totally suck, and hey, I may think the members of the US Immigration services might be a bunch of paranoid, arrogant people who can't tell what they're doing with their lame policies, but I for one have never said that I'm anti-america.

hey,
i dont recall saying you were anti american.
i do recall saying that people who dont appreciate the freedoms they have are foolish.
what you call a false sense of patriotism is actually realism.
i know that i can say what i want, do what i want (mostly).
those are freedoms to me.
and for that matter, ones that not everyone have.
most of you will never really get what im trying to say because it is greater than what i can type out, but, it is simple enough that if you just think about the people who dont have freedom, you just might start realizing what you have.

Me an idiot, I must say I am. I thought America never helped any one. Oh I'm so sorry. *Cough bullshit caught*

Your the idiot, not only are you showing your belief in a government that has so much propaganda about other countries (that are not on there side and on it?s side) that you think some one who is 14 years old is a threat to your al-mighty nation. And notice your countries population, of course you "give more" because 1) you have over 210 million people in your country, we have only 18.4 million and 2) you expect countries you give "aid" to, to be on your side.
in the words of cloriucs: *cough bullshit cough* We do NOT expect countries we give aid to, to "be on our side." I know that America has given Afghanistn ALONE more than 1 trillion dollars(I belive thats how much). I highly doubt that America thinks that Afghanistan is "going to be on our side".

As I said, I don't see why that is an invalid reason. You ought to be able to see your father, but I guess that's what they think. I don't run the immigration office. Maybe the NZ officials can do sumthing.

Yes, I am an idiot, your incredible lack and misuse of punctuation clearly makes you the smarter person.

Of course we have propaganda against our enemies, all countries produce propaganda about other countries, including Australia...but where have I written anything in this thread that was based on propaganda?

1) So what is your point? Are you saying that Australia gives more money based on population? If so, you are wrong. The US has 13 times the population and gives 31 times the foriegn aid of Australia. However, as I pointed out before (which you blindly decided to overlook), America doesn't use the foriegn aid as wisely as it should. Also, I am not trying to say that Australia should spend more money on foreign aid (the US could learn a thing or two about national budgets from Australia, which, as I have recently learned, has a higher standard of living then the US) I am just proving that America does help other countries as well as shooting down your argument at the same time.

2) What are you talking about?? Of course we want our money to go to countries that are on the same page as us. Our money assists them in building a millitary and teaching their children(although lately it seems to be confiscated by wealthy tyrants...again that is why we need some reform). It wouldn't be very bright of Amercia to finance an army that is used against us and educate children to hate us, that would be like giving your friend money so he could teach his son to kick you in the family jewels.

Uhh, read my first post. I said that it was ridiculous that FF had to go through this crap.
Me an idiot, I must say I am.
Well, if an idiot is an opinionated person without any real knowledge, then I would agree, you are an idiot...next time read my previous posts in a thread before you start an argument.

Moving on...

America isn't a bad nation. Then again, it isn't a good nation either. It has its faults, just like any other nation. It has its strengths and weaknesses. One of the only reasons it's bashed more than any other nation is because it's widely considered the most powerful in the world.

I don't know about that, but I do know this: America has risen to its position as "the most powerful nation" I guess in only a little over 200 years. If that doesn't provoke at least a hint of respect in all of you, I don't know what does.

Sentimental rant over now.

Why should that somehow incur respect?

China is also a powerful nation -- should I automatically respect China?

Power doesn't win respect. What you do with power wins respect.

None of us are represnitives for the immigration office. None of you know exactly why FF's visa was denied. So none of you can say why he is not getting accepted. So all of you saying it is because of the terrorists, Shut up. You don't know that. I also hope that your visa gets accepted FF. And I feel for your family and all the frustration this has caused you. I am also sorry that I cannot be of any help. All I can say is good luck and mabye try talking to a higher power or like an Embassy or somthing. Again I have no idea what to do. But good luck and God's speed.
