...well it looks like you won't be playing the new Zedla game. The next game in the Zelda series will star "Cartoony Link" and will be out in the US this fall, I think. I have no idea when it will be available in the UK.

Well, the last I heard the Zelda game for the GCN will be released in October in the US. So, I'm guessing it'll be a couple months after that before it'll be available in the UK.

You shouldn't judge a game by it's graphics, though. I'm not looking to start a discussion on the cel shaded graphics and why they're good/bad, but I'm just saying you should play a game before you judge it. Heck, when I first heard about Super Smash Bros. for the N64, I thought it sounded like a stupid idea... But when I rented it, it turned out to be my favorite game on the N64, short of the two Zelda games! I bought it a couple days after I had to take it back to the rental place, and I kept playing it until I got a GCN and SSB Melee!

sigh......When will you people learn?!?A game is not about the graphics, its about the story line. Geesh! Paper Mario was a silly graphics game, but it was awsome. Its because the story line was great. If you want to complain, go here. Many games have bad graphics, but the story line
was good.

P.S.James told me to work on my grammer once, so please try too(If any mod doesn't like this, they can edit this part out).

slasher, your from the weirdest place, lol.

anyways, i agree with the last two people who posted, and i sorta agree with you. some kiddy games are a little more...er...i dunno how to explain it. Like Majora's mask, i think the story line to that was dumb (no offense) but, it was still cool. actually, that is totally backwards from what everyone is saying. anyways, sometimes graphics matter, sometimes not. kinda like systems, the really old ones, they're cool, even if they aren't 3D. shutting up now......

Okay, the current release date for the GCN Zelda game in the US is February 2003 (argh! I just knew it was going to be delayed!). So far as I know, Nintendo hasn't said anything about the release date in the UK, though. I frequently visit www.nintendo.com, and I know that they haven't given a date for a UK release on there, but you might try one of their global sites.

Most likely, the UK release will be a month or two after the US release, since the UK seems to get games a few months after the US. So, I'd say that it might be released in May 2003 in the UK, or somewhere around there... It's just a guess, though...

*remembers back to the days of the N64, waiting for Ocarina of Time to come out* ...You know, this sounds almost exactly like what happened to OOT... It got delayed until March 1998, then got delayed again, and again, until finally it was released in November 1998. When we look at the GCN Zelda game, it was also scheduled for release in the fall, then it got pushed back to the first quarter of the next year... Hopefully it won't follow in the footsteps of OOT and get delayed all the way to the holiday season...

Okay, yeah, it sounds bad, but I really doubt that it'll get delayed anymore. A big part of the delays OOT suffered from were caused by it originally being developed for the N64 Disk Drive, and then they ended up porting it to a cartridge, which didn't have as much storage capacity as one of the disks. That, and the N64 was just all around hard to develop for, which is just the opposite of the GCN. So, I'm betting that they'll make the February 2003 release.
