Which one is the best one and what systems are they on??? cuz i got final bout and im dessipointed.:(
Well, seeing as how this is a Sony forum, they are all on PSX. I'm not really at liberty to say which one is the best, because I've only played Final Bout. From what I've heard though, none of them are very good. In terms of fighting games, you could do a lot better....

final bout sucks, don't even bother with it....

ultimate battle 22 is pretty good actually when you learn the moves, it's 2d so the characters look more like they do in the show....

Idainaru dragonball densetsu is ok, it's basically a 3 on 3 battle, kinda weird the way they done it, but still ok....

Nah, it's a different game than Legends. I guess I forgot one on my list, lol. Thanks for pointing that out.

I'd say the best one is the Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Battle 22 game, from the screenshots I've seen. Heck, the screenshots of this game give me the impression of it being better then all of them.....

Final Bout.... yes, it does suck. In the way of fighting games, anyway....

I Legends better personnally, it's alot different than just your typical fighting game. Witch is what Ultimate Battle 22 is.

If you've ever played the old SNES DBZ fighting games, Ultimate Battle 22 plays the same way. Punch, kick, ki, fly (into sky or back down to the ground), and dash forward/backward. Final Bout is.....almost the same but isn't 2d-handdrawn and is computer animated instead, and is pretty sluggish (jumping takes forever!). Final bout has a nice character creation mode that you can build up a character in however. Legends would have to be my favorite however. The fighting system is radically different (only an attack button, block, powerup, and a ki blast), but the story mode is just so freaking cool. It almost seems like an rpg because who you pick to fight changes the outcome of certain battles. Like in the cell battle, if you send out anyone besides goku or gohan, Cell will make cell jr.'s and you'll fight them. But if you send in goku or gohan Cell will fight you himself. At the end of every "saga" you get graded on how well you followed the manga storyline as well. I just wish it had secrets to unlock or something. Well when you play thru in story mode, anyone you use or fight against is unlocked in the story mode. It also has an awesome challenge mode that has different fights, like goku vs. jees and burtuur, aaaaah Legends is just plain fun, despite it's primitive controls.

I'm going to have to disagree with you there Crazy White Boy. Only three Dargonball games were released for the PSX, including Dragonball GT: Final Bout, Dragonball Z: Ultimate Battle 22, and Dragonball Z Legends, which you refer to as Dragon Ball Z: Idainaru Dragon Ball Densetsu. I just wanted to correct you in saying that they are the same game, proving it in the fact that your description of it so closely resembles Legends, with 3 on 3 fights.

I have played two out of the three for Playstation- Dragonball GT: Final Bout (which my friend owns) and Dragonball Z: Legends (which I own). True, I have not played Final Bout that many times, but for those few I have to say that I enjoyed it. I never actually learned the controls, but it looked easy enough, and I also liked the artistic look on the characters. As for Legends, I thouht it was a very good game. At times, it's hard to tell where you are when you become very small, but it's challenging and fun, which kept me hooked for quite some time. If you'll excuse me, I'm going to go play Legends now.

i own final bout, and like everyone else, i think it is pretty crappy. Although there are some good ideas in it like where you do two ki blasts at the same time, and you have to repeatidly bash triangle to over power your opponent, its fun like that. The variety of characters are ok.... although most of them are just normal versions of vegeta, goku (not sure if thats goten though, but since its GT it mustbe chibi goku) gohan, and then they are unlocked again as ssj, pretty boring, and theystill have the same moves, ssj4 can be unlocked with a cheat, which ill post as soon as i remember it.
Ultimate battle 22 is supposed to have cool variety of characters from what ive heard, rubbish controls, and witha cheat, you can make the game ultimate battle 27, and get even more characters.

Finally, i saw a game called dbz: bid for power, on the net. could this be legends? i wouldnt know because this is the first of the game ive heard of, it looks like the rpg type.

NO, Bid For Power is a mod for Quake 3 you download it, and load it on to quake 3, thus allowing to play it. Legends is an imported game for the PSX.

Hehe, well go figure. I'm not a big fan of the DBZ games, so I've never imported them. But when reading reviews for Idainaru Dragon Ball Densetsu, I've seen people complain about it being worse then Legends. Yet, I thought there were only three Dragon Ball games for PSX. Hmm, we better get Matlock for this one.

What did they mean by worse than Legends. Are they emplying Legends was bad? If they are then they are wrong, Legends is one of my favorite games for the PSX.

Do you have a PS1 or a PSX. You need a PSX and like a $40.00 adapter to play the game.
Now that you've brought that up, there are numerous ways to play an imported game such as Dragonball Z: Legends.

The most reliable, yet pricey, way to do this would be to buy a modification chip (mod chip) to install into your PSX or PSone with prices ranging anywhere from $20 to $40, and maybe even pay another $50 just to have someone install it for you. But this way, once it's in, it's in. It's not coming out, and you won't have to hassel with it ever again.

A more afordable deal would be to get a "PS-X-CHANGE" Boot Disc, where you have to put it in each time you want to play the game, making it a bit time consuming. Just place it in the Playstation, leave the lid up making it think it's closed with a small slip of paper, take it out and insert the imported game, and finally, press the start botton. This costs about $30 and saves you a lot. I went with this offer, and so far, I'm quite pleased. However, my friend informed me of an even less costing way to do primarily the same thing: use a brand new CD of some sort. I've never exactly tried this, so don't go off and do it expecting it to work, I'd much rather have confirmation on this first.

The final way that I know of playing an imported game on your, ahem, foreign console, is to use a "PSX" Game Hunter Code Card. Now this, I'm not too sure about. I don't use it or have any friends who have experienced this. Here are the facts. It is a card that goes into the back of your Playstation to allow you to play imported games, and it costs around $30 at most retail stores. If it does what i think it does, then you can get it as a cheap solution to a mod chip, and you can leave it in all the time. But don't take my word for it, ask the person(s) you are purchasing it from.

Now that this is over with, I hope that everyone is a little more informed of how you can play imported games on your system. Also, Atomic Sock, SSJ Gotenks ok does not need informing about in the ay of what to use. I mean to say, if he already has Final Bout, then what's stopping him from getting more imported games? Unless he got one of the few American versions, I'd say that he's pretty well suited for getting Legends.

Bandai, made a limited amount of American copies a few years ago.
Hence, I said that unless he got one of the few American versions, he's pretty well suited for getting Legends. However, it's very unlikely that he did get an American, for it's a fact that the game is extremely rare.
