The final way that I know of playing an imported game on your, ahem, foreign console, is to use a "PSX" Game Hunter Code Card. Now this, I'm not too sure about. I don't use it or have any friends who have experienced this. Here are the facts. It is a card that goes into the back of your Playstation to allow you to play imported games, and it costs around $30 at most retail stores. If it does what i think it does, then you can get it as a cheap solution to a mod chip, and you can leave it in all the time. But don't take my word for it, ask the person(s) you are purchasing it from.
:blah:

I believe that there are some problems with this though. I've read that newer Playstation models don't have the slot for the card to fit into. Especially the Playstation One model.

Wasn't I just bringing up an important fact that might apply to someone else reading the thread? Is there a problem with that or something? Anyway, he said "PSX" which can be taken either way, since a PSONE is still a PSX. :p

Wha!? I'm totally lost now. ::stops reading CWBs post for fear of hurting his brain more::

I know PSone is just a model of the PSX, but you're not saying it's exactly the same, right? I mean, stuff that works on a PSX (120 block Memory Cards, Action Replay...), hasn't worked on my PSone...

We're getting a little off topic now, but I mean that someone can say PSX and mean PSOne. There are differences, but the lil' guy is still a PSX....just altered. Anyway, some things that work on older PSX's (like certain GameShark's for instance) won't work on newer PSX's or the PSOne.

So, are we still gonna talk about old Japanese PSX games or what people? :p

NO, Bid For Power is a mod for Quake 3 you download it, and load it on to quake 3, thus allowing to play it. Legends is an imported game for the PSX.
im aware of that but i was guessing that they couldve been the same thing since i had never have heard of legends before.
