RPG Dinotopia: New Group Arrives [P L a Y]

[i] One day on a routine check-up, Jack notices a glitch on the screen, he races to the bridge, the carnevores are attacking. ITS TIME [/i]

[b]Jack:[/b] "Guys! I got a glitch, I got a glitch!"

[b]Hope:[/b] "Are you sure this time?"

[b]Jack:[/b] "I'm positive"

[b]Hope:[/b] "Do you remember what happen last time?"

[b]Jack:[/b] " Uh no? :D"

[b]Major:[/b] "Well lets see it, lets move, we have lives at stake!"

[i] The group gets on their dinosaurs [/i]

[b]Ryowa:[/b] "Alright, Zarr lets get a move on"

[b]John:[/b] "Sean, you hear them lets go!"

[i] Deep under the city Abob with Dave waits for Major to show up with Grey [/i]

[b]Abob:[/b] "He needs to be here...C'mon"

[i] Then he sees Major [/i]

[b]Major:[/b] "I'm a bit late but lets go!"

[b]Abob:[/b] "Right"

[i] Major gets on Grey and Abob gets on Dave, their dinosaurs dive into the water, Major and Abob are protected with special equipment that configure's their lungs while this device is on, so they can breathe/talk underwater and do it perfectly [/i]

[b]Major:[/b] "We are almost there, get out at Lake Akray"

[b]Abob:[/b] "Okay, I see it"

[i] They lift out of the water, and they see their friends not too shortly behind them, Major and Abob get out of the lake, with their dinosaurs by their sides [/i]

[b]Major:[/b] "They are almost here, lets wait, we need everyone"

[b]Abob:[/b] "Alright, just a bit more"[/size]

[Ryo]

The rest of the group arrives.

Major: Is that everybody?

Jack: Uhhhh....I think so.

Major: Okay good. Because th-

Then suddenly out of nowhere a T-Rex jumps out.

Ryowa: They are here!!!!!

Major: Come on people give them your best.

Everybody charges at the T-Rex.

Major: Remember we do not want to harm them.

Ryowa: I wonder how they could get so close to the Sun Stones.

Major: I hope its not what I think.

Ryowa: You mean...

Major: Yes but now we got bigger problems. Come on.

Abob: Lets go Dave.

Dave: Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Ryowa: Charge!!!!!

A couple of more T-Rex come out of a dark forest.

Major: Where are the Skybax.

John: I think they are right on top of us.

The Skybax suddenly dart down toward the T-Rex. It took a while but the T-Rex gave up.

Jack: Yes!!!! We won once again.

Everybody started to cheer.

Ryowa: SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!

John: What now.

Ryowa: Dont you hear that.

??????: RRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

Major: It sounds like-

Ryowa: Yes Raptor's!!!

[Frankie]

Hope- .....RAPTORS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?

[Boba Fett]

Abob urged Dave to fly higher to follow Major. They see about thirty Raptors attacking the others below. Then Abob and Major make their dinos dive in to attack the vicious and deadly raptors.

Dave hit his feet hard against one raptor, knocking in uncontious. Then another Raptor tried to bite Abob, the raptor missed by three centmeters, but clipped Daves wing. Then Abob and Dave flew higher, to repeat their attack run.........

[Ryo]

As they fight the raptors.

Ryowa: Come on Zarr. Lets get these things out of here. But dont kill them.

Zarr: Raaaaarrrrrarrrrrrrra.

Ryowa: You are right....use your tail.

Major: How you doin Ryowa.

Ryowa: Fine thank you....just fine.

John: These raptors wont give up.

Then suddenly Abob flies Dave lower so he could talk to them.

Abob: Would'nt it be easier if I had one of my Skybax pilots bring back.

Ryowa: Do you think it would work?

Abob: We can at least try.

Major: Great idea!!!

Abob: Ok!!!

Hope: Watch out back there.

Suddenly a Raptor jumps on Zarr's back.

Ryowa: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

Abob flies Dave down and pick the Raptor up by it's neck and toses it about 50 feet from the battle.

Ryowa: Thanks Abob.

Abob: No prob.

[Boba Fett]

Abob continues to knockout Raptors one by one. Finally, thrity nine minutes after the feirce battle started, it was over. The uncontious raptors were being loaded into cages so they could be relocated.

Abob and the others flew and walked back to Waterfall city......

[Frankie]

Hope- ......Whew......

[Ryo]

As they were walking back to Waterfall City.

Ryowa: Glad we got thet over with.

Major: Yea! It would of been a disaster if we didnt.

Ryowa: But I wonder how they could get so close to our sunstones.

Major: I fear they are going out again.

Hope: But they havent blinked or gone out in years. How could they be going out.

Major: Thats what confuses me.

Ryowa: Hmmmm....I have a theory.

Jack: What is it?

Ryowa: I will tell you when we get to Waterall city. Meet at my house at 8:00 sharp. Got it?

All: Yea!

Major: Okay! But now lets hurry i have things to take care of before 8:00.

Ryowa: Yeah me too.

Major: Lets go Grey!

They head towards Waterfall city.

Hope- i wonder whats going on

Moradar-............i dont know

Hope- its worrying me a bit

Abob and the others arrived at Waterfall city at 3:00. Each person was assigned quarters and they all went off to conduct their business before their meeting at Ryowa's house later that day.

Abob left Dave at a roost three miles outside waterfall city and then went to his quarters. He took a long shower and then put on a new uniform he had ordered, to replace the one that had been ripped in the battle.

Abob walked to the center of the magnificent city, where the twelve laws of Dinotopia stood, carved in stone. The last law had been lost for centuries, but long ago someone had ventured to the world beneath and found the last law. It read "Find the light". Abob then went to a restaurant where he ordered a giant pear and bread. The food was good, but his mind was on other things. It was nearly time for him to go and see Ryowa.

He arrived at the house at ten till eight and saw three of the others waiting. Ryowa was preparing a roll of parchment. nobody knew what it said, yet.

Finally, when they had all arrived, Ryowa spoke???.

[Ryo]

At Ryowa's house.

Ryowa: Hello all! Thank you for coming.

Major: So whats this big plan of your's.

Ryowa: Patient!

Ryowa unrolled the roll and began speaking.

Ryowa: Do you all see how the carnivores are getting closer and closer to the sun stone.

Hope: The sun stone is failing. We just need to get another one from the vault.

Ryowa: Hehheheh....you think that is the problem. We'll we just replaced the sun stone before the battle today.

All: *gasp*

Ryowa: My theory is that the Carnivores are over coming the Sun Stones.

Jack: That's not possible.

Ryowa: Im afraid it is.

Major: But why? I mean How?

Ryowa: That's why we need to go researching. We will go on a journey.

Hope: All of us.

Ryowa: Yes we will need the help. Meet at my house again tomorrow at 6:00. We will have to set out early.

All of them went back to their house to get a good night sleep.

Hope- Jezz now i cant get any sleep thats all i can think of........*sigh*

IC-Abob walked home, pondering this turn of events. If the carnavores were adapting to be able to resist the sunstones, than Dinotopia would be doomed.

For countless generations the sunstones had made it possible for the dinotopians to seek non-viotent solutions to their problems with the carnivores. This sudden problem might force the dinotopians to choose between their morals, and their lives.

Abob personally valued his life more than non-violence, but the senators did not. Their old fashoned ways might doom Dinotopia..........

[I]Jack had gotten up extra early to shower and eat breakfast. Now, he was on his way to Ryoma's house.[/I]

[COLOR=blue]Jack: I wonder what were going to do to take care of this? And where are we going to go? What do you think about all of this Brakis?[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red]Brakis: (I'm not sure Jack. Whatever we're going to do, we'd better do it quick before the carnivores start attacking again...[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue]Jack: Yeah, I sure hope they'll lay off for a little while...[/COLOR]

[I]about 10 minutes later, Jack made it to Ryowa's house. Ryowa came outside, waved to him, and told him that he would discuss everything once the others got here. Jack waited.[/I]

Shortly after that Abob arrived and the three of them sat down and drank a special tea while they waited for the others.

The tea was made from a rare herb that was found only on Dinotopia. It had mysterious properties that made the drinker, if the tea was drunk regularly, live up to 250 years old. Every dinotopian drunk it, but it was extremely bitter and definately an aquired taste.

After fifteen more minutes all the others showed up and the all sat around a circular table. Then Ryowa stood and began to speak..........

[Ryo]

Ryowa: Im glad all of you are up to this....I hope you all have you partners because you are going to need them. Now are you ready to get set?

All: Yea!!!

Ryowa: All right lets get going!

They set out on their long and hard adventure.

[b]Major:[/b] "Alright thanx, so where are we going exactly?"

As they were going.

Ryowa: We will be going to The Dark forest of Nitaro.

Major: Nit....Nit....Nitaro. That is carzy. Nitaro is the breeding ground fo the T-Rex. We cant go there. If they see us near their nests they wont stop rampaging until they kill us.

Jack: That is crazy.

Ryowa: C'mon Major. Do you want to find out how the T-Rex got hear the Sunstones or not.

Major: Fine. Im not a chicken. *mumbling*

Hope: Lucky you. Hhahhahahahah!

Ryowa: Im so sorry Hope. You and Jack are the lucky one's. Because you will be going to "The Valley of the Raptor's".

Hope: Lord have mercy!!!

Ryowa: Abob and John you will be going to the Kabu. The Mountain of wild Skybax.

Abob: Heh...Do you have anything harder?

Ryowa: Wel if you-

John: That will be fine. Thank you.

Ryowa: Ok....Everybody will meet back here in a month and see what you found out.

All: Okay..cool.

Ryowa: Now! Lets go to our destinations.

Everybody set out in different directions to explore.

[b]Ryowa:[/b] "C'mon Major, we must hurry. We need to find shelter before the night comes"

[i] Major and Ryowa look for shelter, unable to find one, they must make a hut from wood and hope that no carnevores attack them during the night [/i]

[b]Major:[/b] "I'll take the first night shift, I'll wake you in 4 hours"

[b]Ryowa:[/b] "Alright... Deal"

[i] Ryowa falls asleep and Major keeps a vigil eye for carnevores [/i][/size]

In the night.

Major: Ryowa!!!! Ryowa!!!

Ryowa suddenly wakes up.

Ryowa: Huh? Whaaa?

Major: Your turn!

Ryowa: Oh ok!

Major: Nowww..let..me.j-j-ust *yawn*...nap.

Ryowa: Ok.

Steps outside.

Ryowa: Ahhhh...great outdoors. Zarr. How you doin? How come you are not asleep?

Zarr: RRRRrrrrrrraaaaaarrrrrrooooaaaaarrrrr.

Ryowa: Oh I see. You want to keep your eyes open.

Then Ryowa hears a faraway roar.

Ryowa: What was that?

Zarr: Raarrrararrra!

Ryowa: Oh just a Broncosaurus.

Zarr: Rararaaaaaaaarrrr.

Ryowa and Zarr had a nice chat untill it was Major's turn again.

Abob and John walk off towards Canyon city, the nearest inhabited area to the mountian of the wild Skybax.

Abob gets on Dave and they fly leisurely towards Canyon city.

After several hours Abob falls asleep on Daves back as they continue to travel...............
