[Kain]

Kain: Someone I need to see.

Yuugi: Who is this?

Kain:........

Yuugi: Fine.

Kain stands up and walks out the tavern door to a small house on the edge of town.

Kain: Ein?Ein?

Ein: Kain that you?

Kain: Yeah.It's been awhile man.

[The Harlequin]

[I]While Kain and the others get re-acquainted and acquainted with the man respectively, Davien fades into the background and walks off, deciding that he really doesn't care what happens here. What's more, he wants to check out the vampyre population here.[/I]

[Heartless Me]

*Yuugi merely sat in the Tavern, always alert, mainly silent unless spoken to first.. He held a small chalice of something in his hands and swirled the liquid in the cup.*

Yuugi: my what an adventure this turned out to be..

*His eyes narrowed into the glass before downing the lidquid.*

[Kinetic]

What he saw in the reflection was a vampire about to jump on him. He drank the ale, and cut the vampires head right off as he was turning around.

Yuugi: Foolish vampires.

What was happening outside was not pleasant either, a brigade of vampires was heading into town.

[Heartless Me]

*Yuugi turned to face whoever was left in the town. his eyes narrowing... Somehow he knew what was going on... His voice was thick with contempt.*

Yuugi: Gather everyone who is able to fight... We are under attack...

*The group and several other people in the tavern gather their weapons and head to the edge of the town.*

[Kain]

Kain: Hey Ein.

Ein: Yeah.

Kain: Where's Ayane?

Ein: Last time I saw here she was near the river at the edge of town.She had Zack with her.

Kain: You let her go out there in the danger of vampires with that fool!?!

Kain dashes out the house Ein closely behind him.

Ein: What's wrong?

Kain: No time!Gotta get there.

Kain sees the group and several towns people following Yuugi out of town.

Yuugi: Kain.A brigade of vampires are coming this way.

They speak no more and they are at the edge of town.

Kain: AYANE!!

A girl is seen fighting off three vampires unarmed.She turns her head after kicking a vampire in the head and looks as if she'd seen a ghost.

Ayane: Kain?

Kain jumps in front of her and fights of the vampires for her.Yuugi and the others fight the coming brigade of vampires.

[Kinetic]

Far away, yet still visible was the outline of Setsuna, watching the troops of Vampires and Banshees taking on the villagers and warriors.

Setsuna: You'll need all the help you can get...you pathetic fools!
A grin on his face.
Kain: Setsuna! I'll kill you for what you've done!
Kain ran through the crowd of Vampires, jumping over them every now and then. He got to Setsuna and they started with battle number two.

Setsuna: I'll finish you quickly
He said laughing.
Setsuna: Void Drift!

A shot of lightning spurt from his hands. Kain dodged and shot an arrow at Setsuna. It grazed his arm and Setsuna kept slashing at him with his double-edged scimitar.

[The Harlequin]

[I]Alerted by the noise, Davien ran up towards the conflict, coming at Setsuna from behind, as he engaged Kain. Slashing with his twin viper, Davien tripped him, only to have Setsuna roll backwards and kick him the stomach. Davien fell, also rolling back to his feet, as Kain distracted Setsuna. Realising that that battle would go better without his interference, Davien attacks the vampyres, in a series of short slicing circles that aimed more to main than kill. Very quickly, there was a trail of groaning vampyres behind him.[/I]

[Heartless Me]

*Yuugi preferred to save his energy right now so his combat consisted of using his kuri-segama to fight, ripping the hook into vampire bodie's and tearing out chunks of flesh... At one point he got a decent hold on a vampires body and gave an incredible tug throwing the vampire in a circle around him tossing several of the attacking undead to the ground.... His eyes narrowed watching four vampires come in, he kneeled down a little and then jumped up and over them only to land right infront of a banshee. He cursed slightly and began to engage in battle, though the banshee must have been much older and more powerful because it didn't seem like Yuugi was going to win.*

[Terran]

OOC: Sorry about not posting for a while guys, but I had exams in school. Now I'm on 3 months holidays. Let's have some fun (Insert evil cackle here)

[I]Terran, realising Yuugis distress, leaps in a somersault towards him, bouncing on a vampires head on the way, his steel boot crushing the creatures skull.

Terran lands beside Yuugi, his sword drawn. He begins slicing and cutting away at the Banshee. Yuugi see this and is filled with new courage, and dives forth with increased vigour.

Terran stabs his sword into the Banshees vertabrae, severing its spinal column. Yuugi shoves Terrans sword down, causing the Banshee to split in half.

This task complete, Terran leaps into the battle with Setsuna.

Kains leg had been sliced by Setsuna, and although he was fighting well, it was clear he was tiring out.

Terran slams the flat of his sword into the back of Setsunas leg, breaking them both. But with a sickening noise, the legs healed themselves immediately.

Terran barely had time to register the shock of this before Setsuna had pushed Kain to the ground and rounded on him.

Terran: What ARE you?

Setsuna: Anything!

Setsunas right arm extends to a lond spike and stabs at Terran. Terrans leaps aside and slices down with his sword, cutting off the spike, but it grows back in about one second.

Setsunas left arm transforms into a sword blade with which he cuts off Kains leg from the knee down.

Terran stabs Setsuna in the shoulder with his dagger, but Setsuna wreches his body backwards, pulling the dagger out of Terrans hand.

Suddenly, Setsuna leaps forward, and, before Terran could react, Setsuna stabs him through the stomach. Terran is lying on the ground with Setsunas spike-arm spearing him.[/I]

Setsuna: You fought well. Now your time has come.

Terran: I am not restrained by Time.

[I]Terran uses Shawdow Walk and in Setsunas eyes disappears. Terran launches himself off the ground and spins behind Setsuna, breaking off his spike-arm.

Terran stabs Setsuna through the heart and channels an Eternal Scream down through the sword. Setsuna screams a horrific scream and bursts into flams, then explodes.

Terran falls to the ground, his dark blood spilling onto the scorched grass. He is breathing his last.[/I]

[Kain]

Setsuna seems to have perished but appears behind Kain.

Kain: This is it.Demon to demon.

Setsuna: I was waiting for a better challenge.

Kain's leg comes back and he engulfs his self with darkness.His eyes glow a blood red and he grows black wings and his body goes entirely black.Setsuna does the same thing.

Davien: I klnew this would happen.

Davien jumps in and grabs Terran and carries him out of the battlefield.Kain and Setsuna are off fighting in the air.

[The Harlequin]

Terran: Why the hell did you do that?

Davien: Simple. Now we sit here and make things very difficult for them.

[I]With that, Davien proceeds to fire multiple shots at Setsuna, forcing him to perform some very intricate dodges. Laughing manically, Davien continues to fire, until a vamypre nearly takes his head off. Davien spins his twin viper out, slicing the offending arm off. The head follows. Leaving Kain to his own devices, Davien was sure that he didn't care how the battle turned out, Davien proceeds to attack in a circular motion, until he appears as nothing more than a vortex of blades.[/I]

[Terran]

[I]Terran is devastated that he did not accomplish anything, and that yet another member of their group has turned Demon. Desipte his wounds he followed Daviens lead to make things hard for the two demons, throwing his dagger into Setsunas chest, where it stuck.[/I]

Terran: I don't understand it. What are these two? And what was the purpose of everything to this point?

[I]Before Davien could respond, he was assaulted from behind by a mob of angry villagers, who were on the hunt for Vampires and the like, having disposed of many within the town. And, to be honest, Terran and Davien don't look like the most non-vampire/demon characters.

Terran rolls a distance away. and Davien kicks the first villagers away, not wanting to seriously hurt anyone innocent who was just defending their town.[/I]

[Kinetic]

[color=royalblue]
The battle between the demons raged on. Each one slicing the other viscously, yet each wound seemed to heal within seconds.

Setsuna: A battle of this calibur will not solve anything.

With that, Setsuna hung his double-bladed scimitar on his side and a green light came from his hands.
Kain's wings shielded his body against the blast, and when the wings re-opened, a purple light shot at Setsuna, hitting him in the side. Setsuna stuck his hand out, and the green light showed up, the light came slowly out, and formed a green blade, the handle being pure light.
Kain did the same.

They attacked each other with these weapons, and the wounds from these didn't seem to heal.

[Heartless Me]

*Yuugi having been helped by Terran in taking care of the banshee he seemed to fade from view but instead what he really did was shift his chi flow so that noone would notice him unless they were specifically looking for him, as Setsuna and Kain battled on Yuugi was gaining energy... True Kain was a demon but as far as Yuugi cared for now, Kain was on his side which is why he decided to try something very different and possibly self destructive... He focused all the power inward then shot it forward at full strength slamming into Kain, the energy was not harmful however. It was a contained do spell in which he was attempting to cast upon Kain, if it was successful Kain would feel an immense calmness and balance and all of his physical attributes and awareness would increase by about 50% and he would not feel pain until the spell wore off. Yuugi then fell over, his chi disrupted by the major spell making several vampires notice and start to converge upon him...*


OOC: it's up to you people if you want my C to continue in this RP or not.. :) If not someone can kill him off, but if so someone should save him cause I'm not going to. *nodnod*

Setsuna noticed the speed in Kain, and focused his energy for an attack. He threw the light sword at him, and it was easily deflected. Yet it was only a distraction.

Setsuna: Void drift!

The green light shot once more from his hands, injuring Kain. Yet Kain continued to fight. Kain threw his sword at Setsuna, and it was blocked with a wing. But when Setsuna revealed himself, a purple light shot through his stomach. Setsuna kneeled over in pain. Kain created another sword, and slashed at Setsuna's head. His sword went right through him as if it were air! Setsuna reappeared behind Kain, holding his stomach.

Setsuna: Teleportation. It's a wonderful thing. See you soon, brother.

Setsuna backed up and was concealed in his wings, then vanished.

[Kain]

Kain notices the vampires beginning to crowd around Yuugi.Kain kills them easily and turns back into human form.Kain picks Yuugi up and helps him walk back into town with the rest of the group.

Davien: What side are you on?

Kain: Yours.I'm here to kill the vampires and end their evil tyranny.Yes,I am a demon but I was banned from hell along with Ayane.I was not like Setsuna.I didn't have the crave for killing.But I was good in a way.So I guess i'm not really a demon.

Davien: Hmph.

Terran: But why kill vampires?

Kain: They make me sick.Their lust for blood is sickening.

Davien: Why fight Setsuna?

Kain: He is the leader of the vampires and my biggest rival.

Anethma: Why didn't you tell us this.

Kain: I didn't want to alarm you.

[Ravenstorture]

[color=darkgreen][I]Anathema wipes her blades on her dress and replaces them. Breathing heavily, she walks over to where Terran lies on the ground, moaning. [/I]

Anathema: You don't look alright. Do you want help?

Terran: Doing what? Lying here, bleeding?

Anathema: Do you want me to help you do things you are [I]meant[/I] to be doing, like walking around and stuff?

Terran(smiling): No, I should be fine.

Anathema: 'Should'...

[I]Terran rises and winces at the wounds on his body. Anathema goes to help him up and he does not object. [/I]

Anathema: We should be getting to a place with a healer soon, so don't worry.

Terran(smiling): 'Should'...[/color]

[Heartless Me]

*yuugi shortly after arriving to town opened his eyes and looked around.*

Yuugi: Wow... I'm not dead? This works

*he smiles weakly.*

Yuugi: I can walk..

Kain: Not right now you can't, your paralyzed from the waist down... Trust me...

Yuugi: How.. how did you know that?

Kain: I know more than you think I do.... Your chi is disbalanced, it happened when you casted your Do spell on me.

*Yuugi does not protest, he merely closes his eyes and waits to arrive where they are going.*

[The Harlequin]

[font=gothic]Davien: Well, wasn't this adventure fun? We seem to have managed to get most of ourselves rather wounded.

Anathema: I don't see any blood on you.

Davien: Of course you don't. I'm more fastidious than you.

[I]The rest of the walk passes in silence, broken only by the laboured, hissing breath of Terran and Yuugi. After a while, they reach a medium-sized village.[/I]

Kain: We may as well. They should have a healer.

[I]They walk on in, Kain flashing the gate guard an ominous look as he starts to question them. The gate guard subsides, but glares at them after they walk past. The main street of the village contains the usual, general store, inn, etc. Stopping a well-dressed passerby, Davine enquires, "Is there a healer in this town?".[/I]

Stranger: Get your hands off me knave! If you must know, there is one at the very end of this street. Now take your diseased, baseborn self away form me before I call the watch.

[I]Davien lets him go. As the man starts to walk off, Davien bends and grabs his foot, spinning out and under the man's now upraised leg, while using his other foot to kick the effeminate man's remaining leg off the ground. Held up by Davien's grip on one foot, the pansy falls facefirst in the mud. Davien drops his leg and places a foot between the groaning courtier's shoulderblades.[/I]

Davien: Thank you for the information.

[I]As they start to walk off, Davien mutters under his breath, "Why must the world be left profligate with those well-dressed butterflies?".

After leaving their injured at the healer's, who mentions that they may need as much as a week to heal fully, the remaining companions avail themselves to the inn. After being seated, and buying a few tankards, Davien suddenly bursts out laughing.[/I]

Anathema: What's so funny?

Davien: That man I stopped in the street was over there. He left rather quickly.

Anathema: That was a really stupid thing to do you know. He'll probably have six or eight assasins after you before dawn.

Davien: I AM an assasin remember. Trust me, nobody is going to come after me.

Anathema: Your reputation's that good , I suppose.

Davien: In that particular circle, yes.

Anathema: Sure.

Davien: Believe what you will. Anyway, I'm going to check the beds for lice. I hear they get as big as mice in places like this.

[I]As Davien walks up the stairs, Anthema strikes up a small conversation about the errant assasin with Kain.[/I]

Anathema: What do you make of him?

Kain: Who, Davien? Well, I'd say that he hasn't had much experience with cities. I'd also say he's crazy.

Anathema: No more than I managed to deduce then.

[I]Draining her tankard, Anthema also goes to bed, while Kain stays up a bit later, staring into the fire.[/I][/font]

[Heartless Me]

*As the group leaves Yuugi and Terran at the healer he looks over the healer and then passes out again.*

~~~Next day~~~

*Yuugi awakens, he feels his ki has balanced but his legs still won't move.*

Healer: Don't try to move, it will take several days to get the feeling back...

Yuugi: I bet you the cost of my friends healing that I'll be walking in 20 minutes...

Terran: What are you doing?

Yuugi: Shhh.

*the healer looks at them both and starts laughing. the fat grey haired middle aged gentlemen nodded with an overconfidant grin.*

Healer: you've got yourself a bet.

Yuugi: Alright then.

Terran: Your both crazy, We're waging war against the entire vampire kind and your over here gambling...

*Yuugi doesn't respond only closes his eyes and activates his Chi Healing spell.*

[Kain]

Kain walks to his room and lays down.He falls asleep and hr rests from being up all night.

OOC: Kinda short on words now.

[Kinetic]

While the rag-tag team of warriors rested, more viscious plans were being brought together by Setsuna.

Setsuna: I will kill you...brother.

Setsuna's eyes gleamed bright red, and he transformed once more into a demon. He flew off into the night...in search for, himself.
Back at the town...what town was it?

Kain: Bartender...
Bartender: Yes, sir?
Kain: What is the name of this place anyway?
Bartender: Jake's pub.
Kain: Not the pub, the town.
Bartender: Sequla.
Kain: That's odd...

There was a noise outside, and all of the adventurers jumped up, even Yuugi in the doctor's office, winning his bet.
Kain walked outside into the thundering rain, mud splattering with each heartpounding step.

Kain: Who goes there?!
Setsuna: Guess...
Kain spun to the direction of the voice: Setsuna?!

Setsuna reappeared behind Kain.

Setsuna: Haven't you learned anything yet? [i]Brother[/i]

Setsuna struck his scimitar through Kain. The scimitar vanished, and the wound healed as Kain transformed into a demon yet again.

Setsuna: That's it...let the hatred inside you burn! Kill me!

With that, Kain took his sword and stuck it through Setsuna.

Kain: The heart, no way you can live without it.
Setsuna: You forget one thing [i]brother[/i]...I have no heart.

Green light shot from Setsuna's hands, and it was deflected by an aura around Kain. The aura turned into a sword, and Setsuna formed a sword of light as well. It was turning about to be the same battle as the last time. The others stood their ground, and watched every, thundering movement.
The battle raged on through the night. Each one picking up a new wound every minute. The rain was still engulfing them.

[The Harlequin]

[font=gothic]Davien: I don't know about anyone else, but this is starting to annoy me, and nobody said we had to play by the rules. Let's finish this now.

Kain: No! This is my fight!

Davien: You can try to do something about it later, but I don't recommend it. Shall we.

[I]Davien starts to spin his twin viper in elaborate patterns, creating an almost visible mesh of steel around him. Keeping the momentum going with almost laconic flicks of his wrists and arms, he advances on Setsuna, followed by the others.[/I][/font]

[Kinetic]

The others attack Setsuna in an organized formation, tearing at his flesh. And no matter how strong he seemed, or how big his ego was, he did not stand a chance at these odds. With this, he flew up into the air, and threw a ball of energy to the ground, causing an earthquake. Kain flew up, striking at Setsuna visciously. With one swift blow, he sent Setsuna flying to the ground. The group got back to their feet and started to battle Setsuna.
These were bad odds, but Setsuna held his ground. He activated a shield around himself, but that was crushed immediately by Kain and Davien. Yuugi had started a chi spell, and Anethema was attacking insanely, without caution for that matter. Kain also had become more confident, and less weary. Setsuna noticed this, and hit him with his light sword knocking him into a wall.
