Guest Saiyangohan2002
All examples are from the movie "Coolers Revenge" Basically, there is music where it should just not be. Any two year old knows that when characters are saying to each other, quiet quiet, no ones going start playing music, because that is a dramatic, suspensefull moment! ludicrous FUNi willl though, and i want to know why the have to butcher the real feeling of the movies. The part where cooler and the sun is appropriate, so not all rock music in the series is a criminal against the feel, just when the time is meant to be dramatically silent, and they have some loud rock song in it! :flaming: bloody hell funi, get you pi$$ as act togeter. Transtic Nerve
They only do it to appeal to more people. It's all about business my friend, they care not what it should be as far as the original is concerned.

Nope, they have original BGM (Background Music) and special music normally at the end. Like sung by Kageyama Hironobu or Monolith or like the songs by Gohan in the "Dead Zone" and "World's Strongest"... or The third movie... I can't remember when he did that whistle song... He had that drunk song in Movie 1 and than Picollo Dai Dai Dai in Movies 2 or 3... and Kuchibue no Kimochi (the whistling song) in one of those movies too. But other than that, no other artists were featured in the show/movies.
JCBaggee
Hey, I happen to think that the songs were used great. You gotta admit that they used "Change" by the Deftones in an inventive way.
LittleFluteSan
Personally, I think it sucks. I tried watching Cooler's Revenge in English on DVD, and had to immediatly switch to Japanese due to these horrible songs. And I didn't even TRY to watch Lord Slug in English, because I heard ahead of time that Deftones were doing a song. I think for something like DBZ, a story about good vs. evil, honor vs. tyranny, etc. a "catchy, modern" soundtrack detracts from the feel of the film. Stick to having a score... a score can add that dramatic element or increase tension, etc. without making it all "trendy"... but, it is all about the dollar signs, unfortunatly.
