I know how hard this temple is for newbie players. It took me like a month to beat that temple. Never use keys to soon, or you'll have to delete your game and start all over. All I have to give you in help is buy a cheat book. It helps a lot!

No, you won't have to delete your file and start over. You can't get stuck, the game won't let you. You'll always be able to get a Small Key for the doors you need to unlock. There's not always a set order that you have to unlock doors in, but there's always enough Keys to open them all no matter what order you open them in.

And do not post in help topics just to say "buy a players guide." That doesn't help the person at all. Don't post in help topics unless you're actually helping them, or you're asking a question of your own, about the same game. - Desbreko

Okay....let me try to think of this....haven't played it in a while. Okay, you know the room where you get the bow? You had to go down a set of stairs(attached to a crooked hallway) if I recall correctly. THAT set of stairs is the one with the red ghost.

The first two Poes, Joelle (the red one) and Beth (the blue one) are in the paintings that hang in the staircases on the east and west sides of the room where you get the Fairy Bow. Joelle (the red one) is in the staircase to the west of the Fairy Bow room.

I know this temple pretty well, and it's rather confusing. If you need more help, I'd be happy to assist you. :)

Yes.... VERY confusing... once you get the first three Poes, in the center of the main room will be Poe #4... the purple(?) one. keep an eye on the poe herself, because she splits and you have to follow her and shoot an arrow at her. Use Z Targeting to keep your eye on her. Good luck! And watch out for the boss... I think you'll have fun...

Durian or somethin of the sort. Hehe you have to search this place very well for keys... you see that big block with the crescent moon on it? Go play the song of time in front of it to open the door to your first key.

Ok, from the start of the dungeon.... go through the door that isn't locked and there should be a big lava pit with Keese and a bridge going through the center of it. there is a fake door here and there should be a block... unless I am thinking of another room... anyway, your first key should be through the door that is on the other side of the bridge.

(Btw, I am doing this from memory, but it was my fav. one so I remember it pretty well.)

Whee! Fire Temple! Also my favorite temple!

Okay, when you first enter the temple, you'll want to go through the left door, at the top of the stairs. Inside you'll find Darunia, who goes into the boss chamber to try and defeat Volvagia (the boss). After you finish talking, jump across the platforms to the left, over to the Goron that's trapped in a cell. Step on the nearby floor switch to free the Goron, and he'll give you a hint. Inside the cell is a chest that contains a Small Key.

Most, if not all, of the Small Keys that you'll get in the Fire Temple, you'll get by freeing Gorons. There are nine Gorons in the Fire Temple, and eight of their cells contain Small Keys. The other's cell contain a chest with the Boss Key in it.

Edit: Right, I deleted all of that spam... And yugi, stop spamming... I'd also like to remind people that this a help thread, to be used for asking and answering questions about Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Do not post in this thread unless you're helping someone, or asking for help yourself.

I have tried to tell every one that if you have atleast 14 bucks go to a book store or a game store and buy a cheat book! It helps a lot! I feel sorry for you. You have 4 more temples to do. I think you'll have a lot of trouble with the spirit temple, water temple, the desert temple (forgot it's name), and the other one. Umm or try Nintendo.com, or Gamezone.com

And I've tried to tell you that this isn't helping anyone! If people want to use a player's guide, they most likely know where to get one. Saying "buy a player's guide" is not helping someone, so don't respond to a help thread just to say that. - Desbreko

Okay, the next thing you'll want to do is play the Song of Time a second time, where you moved the blue block to rescue the second Goron, and then climb up the block to access another room. Block the flying tiles with your sword or shield, and be careful of the Like Like (the white blob thing). If it sucks you in, kill it quickly to recover you Hylian Shield and/or Goron Tunic.

nope im still stuck. Uh which entrance do you mean? ive so far found 2-3 ways in the main entrance you mean?
Sorry I wasn't too clear on that one. Ok, there is a place you can access from the Death Mountain Trail, leading to Goron City. First, have bombs. Lots of them. Sure you only need but three... that is, if you're good at timing the throwings... anyway, From where the pole is with the red flag on it, go to the left instead of going straight and you will run into a cliff with rocks on it. Bomb the rocks. There are only two rocks that you have to bomb; the third one is nothing but a cow hole. After you finish bombing the rocks, use the Z targeting and pull out your shield to keep ypou from getting harmed by the falling volcanic rocks-- bad place to have a Kokori shield. Finally, once you get passed that, all that is left is the wall. Use your hookshot (if your a kid, bow if adult) to aim at the skulltulas(sp?) and watch out for the little bouncy spider thing that you encountered at the beginning of DMT. From there, there is a sign, cave enterance(Death Mountain Crater), bombable wall to a fairy cave(Pharoe's Wind), and Biggoron(an overgrown Goron that you'll have to bring Eye Drops to in a side quest later). Bomb the wall and that's the cave I was talking about.

Hope that clears stuff up a bit. Like Likes are damaged by arrows... you'll need this tactic later in the temple...
