Guest Deranged Gerbil Posted May 22, 2002 Share Posted May 22, 2002 many queries basically in the interest of common knowledge and what members would think themselves, anyway what do you think would happen if- 1: Sephiroth or Transtic Nerv left the boards? they've both been here for as long as anybody can remember, wondering around the boards to keep things intact, why I remember the days when Safer was admin and made TN general discussions moderator now those were the days 2: The Yaoi forum was created, would it be popular? non-existant because people just want to please those that wanted it and so said they wanted it too? I personally would love having the yaoi forum and would visit it quite often, for those who know me know that I've been pretty scarce around the boards 3: If thimoc came back? old time members know exactly who he is 4: if big poppa hump, undoubtedly the most hated member in the history of otaku came back thats all for now Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Since Seph and TN are two of the biggest, I'll say go-getters for current lack of better term, on the boards, if they left, the boards would slowly progress into nothingness.... Not that James couldn't do something, but with over 2,000 members, it's kinda hard to keep up. 2.) A Yaoi section wouldn't be the most visited, but it wouldn't be dead. And then all the people putting "subliminal messages" in their sigs would be happy. *looks at Flash and Seph* 3.) Never read a post from him, but from what I've heard, he'd probably do something to get banned in about 10 minutes. 4.) Read above statement. Kent Posted May 22, 2002 Share Posted May 22, 2002 i dont know about most of what you said because i am new. i can, however, mention that i am personally disgusted at the idea of a yoai section. that is the word for h-manga that is gay, right. if im wrong about that and yoai is something else then i wouldnt stand behind the above statement. but, if it is, i say that is no good; i also think that if trans nerve left, things would be a good bit duller and just not as nice. Other than that I think we'll lost our contact of TN throwing bricks at Sephy's 'sushi' 2) Yaoi.....oh man. That would be the least visited forum in OB. I would prob read what others say but definately not post anything there. 3 and 4) Who the hell are those guys? From what I can tell these guys are pretty bad. By any chance are they as bad as Kuja? Treble Posted May 22, 2002 Share Posted May 22, 2002 1) If Sephiroth and Transtic Nerve ever left Otakuboards, then I'd say the boards would be fulled up with more pointless topics (spam), and topics would be less interesting. 2) If the Yaoi forum was ever created, then Otakuboards would be fulled up with a lot more members than it is now, so it certainly would be very popular.And of course Sephiroth along with other Yaoi fans would be totally happy.:) 3) If Thimoc ever came back and return to his orginal hilarious self, then he'd probaly would be accepted again.But if he ever came back with his rude comments about the boards and spammed crazy, then he'll eventually get banned again. 4) If Big Poppa Hump ever came back, lets say he'll immediately get banned right after he registered. The boards would be able to manage without them, no one person is that important here that if they left it would destroy everything. And I am sure that the other Super Mods would do a fine job at filling in the void left by them. 2) I don't think many people would post in a Yaoi forum. The General Anime forum isn't very popular, and adding a subforum would probably just lower its overall activity. 3) What if he is already here? I kind of doubt he is though, I remember reading a post where Transtic said he memorized thimoc's IP address.. so I don't think he could sneak into the boards. And if he returned with the sole purpose of spamming, then he would be banned before he finished writing his second post. 4) I don't know why he is the most hated member. Some may be that we would lose a number of members. Many people I know look up to them, and some only stay because of those two. Anoter thing would be, there would be alot more spamming, with two frequent visitors gone, James would be by himself and would not be able to control the boards as well. (Nothing against James) 2)I think it would be decently popular. Most people here are mature enough to enjoy any art, and I may not be "gay" (no offense) but I would visit there every once in a while. Its a nice little twist to all the well known anime's. :) So yeah I think it wouldn't be like an Otaku Lounge or RPG but it would be pretty popular. 3)Thimoc eh? Well twould be interesting, if he went straigh I think it would be great. But most likely he would prolly get banned within 10 mins of being here, and of course he would be spamming the whole time. :)...it would be nice to have a taste of V2 again :) 4) Shoot him...
