Ok, please keep unnecessary comments to yourself, and don't judge a game based purely on looks. I can say that quite a lot of people will be discouraged when they read your post, and I'm glad that I got here first.

First of all, there is already a topic that concerns the latest Zelda game which can be acessed from a few days back, called E3, I believe. If you wanted to discuss anything regarding that game, I reccomend posting it there. There is no need opening up an entirely new thread just to bash it before you read the background information.

Next, inappropriate words are no way to get our point across. The pictures you see of Link are that of a cel-shaded design, which you can clearly tell that GameCube uses it to it's full potential. Sure, it could be done better in a more realistic mode such as an advanced version of the Nintendo 64 Zeldas, but this way you can distinguish between the generation of consoles. Hence, this Link look will be the look of this era, GameCube.

Key word in our last comment: seen. Again, you're basing this completely on pictures of this yet-to-be-released game. I bet you havn't had the chance to play a demo at E3, or even witnessed a video clip of this Zelda. To get much better feel of this game, you must see it in action, which I did, and it proved to me the large extent of what this game really means.

:blah:

I don't think there's anything wrong with the new Zelda using Cel-Shading techniques. I think it's great that nintendo is reflecting the new Zelda game with the original NES version. I think this has already been discussed previously though so you can look there.

How old are you? 10?

Based on your horrible post quality as well as the fact that you use the word "gayest"...I can only determine that you simply can't be over the age of 10.

In any case, you know what pisses me off the most about the new Zelda?

It's the people who think Ocarina of Time was the first Zelda game.

People who are a little older (or who have played NES/SNES versions of Zelda) should be pleased that the new Zelda goes back to its roots, whilst also maintaining a next generation visual flair.

Whether you like the style or not is irrelevant -- I challenge you to watch the trailer and not be impressed by the complex cel-shading and animation techniques...if you can't be impressed by that, then you've lost all credibility when it comes to gaming. :)
