Unless there is an amzing video compression system out for VCD files, I'm guessing that there are many discs in this set as a DBZ movie is 50 minutes long, and normally it is 3 movies to a disc. As each DBZ/GT episode is 20-25 minutes long, with 291 DBZ eps alone, thats a lot of discs :D

VCD isnt always that much of good quality, I had one once and tried it on my top of the range pc, I was very dissapointed with the results, the screen was all blocky, the sound was rubbish, and there were no subtitles, so I just didnt bother with it. It may sound like a pirate copy but, believe it, it was official. *GETS ON THE PHONE TO COMPLAIN!* I reccomend that you get DVD copies-better sound and its much sharper.

A lot of VCDs are illegal copies, the blocks that you saw are probably because the movie was badly captured. VCDs can be good quality, it all depends on the capture. (That is why in a lot of DBZ movies that are on the internet or illegally sold skip a lot, this is when the frame rate of the program capturing the image changes).

I agree with PloudClod, get DVDs, you can get all of the DBZ series, all of the movies and most of the GT series if you are willing to pay a bit more.

I don't think any VCDs are actually legal, unless there are different laws in America, over here in Britain selling VCDs that aren't permitted or released by the company are illegal. Is it the same in America?

From what I know, ALL vcds are illegal. But its kinda cool if you get one that actually works, you get to see the films before they even come out in the cinema, but I still dont reccommend it...I've seen one thats been filmed by a video camera in the cinema!!!
