i think the reason i fear death, is not my own reason, but the loss of my relationship to my mother and brother. seperation from them is my fear of death. not what comes next. i can only have faith in my own beliefs of an after life.
ww3 i dont think will happen. if india and pakistan go crazy... lets just hope not.
and i want to say the u.s.a. wasnt trying to prove anything in vietnam. i honestly believe the president Lydon b. johnson (D) was making a defesive action for the southren half of vietnam.
i know that at least the montin-yard (sp?, the word is french for mountian man) troops were happy to have the u.s. defending human rights against the natural oppression of communism.after the war over 30,000 of the tribes man living in the mountains were slaughtered when the u.s. left. i dont want to say the u.s. fought that war in the best manner possible; i just want to say, hate the polititions and not the soldiers. soldiers are normal people and the polititions that run the bureaucracy are another.
if you can find a thread i started a few weeks or maybe even months ago, i wrote about lbj and his involvment in the esscolation of the vietnam conflict.
maybe one day i will know enough to talk about pakistan and india the same way.
ive been learning alot because of the "war on terror". personally i find the pakistanies to be a group that are hard to control. from what i can tell, not even all of pakistan is under musharifs' control.
the pashtun area in the north east is a haven for anyone that wants to walk around with a kalashnakof rifle. i think we will find out that pakistan is the aggressing nation.
but, i want to point out that the indian hindu control, is that of a minority in the kashmir area. over 70% of kashmirien (can i even say that) people are muslim.
i think this will be able to end with out ww3.
muslim extremist... i think that is another problem; but oddly, one in the same.

calm down raven!! personally i think neither pakistan or india are foolish enough to fire there nukes, all they are doing is building them to compete, to show strenth. if a war does hapeen, i can see all the rioting in the UK, i can see loads of fights between pakistani and indians!! but what can we do, all we can do is discuss the situation, nothing more

The situation has quietened down now, I don't think anything will happen I, personally, am a bit too cautious to go yelling world war 3 world war 3!, I did that after sept. 11th and, no offense, all that happened was the might of America came crashing down on a few mud huts and primitive Military bases. mweh, nothing can stand up to america :)

excuse me, you "fear" for the safety of the planet when these arabic countries are involved? you say this yet you do not realise that the US has more nuclear warheads than ANY other country?

you say this, in spite of the fact that Bush could have gotten RID of the US's nuclear warhead, to show the world that the right way down the path is peace? but no, he decided to KEEP the nuclear warheads? what does that tell you about the future?

you say this, when in the past, arabic people, particularly those living in iraq, where I come from, FEARED the US because of how many times iraq has been bombed by them?

it is not even known whether arab countries yet possess nukes, and trust me, if iraq had nukes, then they would have launched a few already just to show they have them!

the only COUNTRIES which you should FEAR for your "safety" are those which actually HAVE NUKES! :mad:

That is true, many countries have access to many nuclear bombs, even Pakistan and India, we civilians should fear every country in that case, but we dont, why? because we know that most countries arent stupid enough to fire them, that would start a war, and as always Americsa will [I]butt[/I] in, and then kick the living crap out of them....

So Seph, I guess you kind of made sense there, not to mention that we should also fear countries with c-r-a-z-y politicians which have nuclear bombs....

Anyway, Pakistan and India are in a bad spot to be talking about nuclear war... Russia has enough nukes to oblitterate the US... Pakistan and India would be nothing to destroy... That's one of the reasons the US and Russia aren't fighting anymore... it's all in who fires the first nuke. We have enough to blow Russia to peices and they have enough to blow us to peices... thou, either way, if we team up with Russia, then China is going to join in, then Iraq, and we all have a nice time bombing the fick out of Pakistan and India and destroy the world at the same time.

That's basically what would happen... it wouldn't take much to send the world into Dark Holocaust... Maybe 30 nukes going off at the same time in different parts of the Middle East... and you have to realize too, that the people fighting in Pakistan and Israel and India are doing it because the leaders are fighting.
