:therock: ... ::hits The One over the head:: What did I tell you foo!? Lol, just kidding :p. I find it weird that your name is John... heh heh, if you catch my drift ;). It is almost like talking to myself ::hint hint::.

Well, anyways, agree mostly with the person who said they are addicted to OB more than the actual internet. Every spare moment I get (which is alot of time, mind you ;)) I am on here, yet I don't always post, lol. Recently I have found this neato game that is confusing yet strangley addictive, but it is fun. Heh, it drives my mom crazy that I'm online so much cause we only have one phone line :D

Addicted? Nah. Although I sometimes have to avoid computer access to convince people of that.

I keep in touch with a lot of people via net that I couldn't otherwise. And I'm here a lot, well...because it's a responsibility as a mod, and because some of the members here are halfway decent.

I am very addicted to my computer, the internet, and the boards...Not to mention Adam wakes me up at 5:30 AM and makes me send him stuff ;)

But the internet tends to be very addictive. It gives people something to do whentheir bored, and sometimes, people just sign-on because it is second nature to them. But yes, am ery addicted to the internet.

I am so addicted to the internet *reads dialoge box saying how long i have been connected* my internet has been conected for 36 hours and 29 minutes. I even have it on doing stuff while i'm at school. I consider these boards(mainly GD and PC/XBOX) my internet home. This is the first link on my "links" bar on internet explorer. it's the first link i click. When I get home from school, screw homework, i go online. I check the boards, check cs-nation then play counter-strike till dinner. Then I do homework, maybe watch some tv, call me gf, then go back online. I have downloaded more movies off kazaa then some of my friends with dsl and i have 56k. And on a side noter, Van Widler is very funny. :D If have stood about 1 week without a computer. But I had cable tv to keep me entertained. So I should probably go study for my spanish final tomorrow instead of typing this, but I just bought a new "internet chair" (lol, that's what it's called. "Perfect for the Internet junkie" lol) and it's very comfortable. So I will stop typing now. This is probably goodnight to all you otakuies out there. I'll try and make the painful mouse drag over to start, then shut down, then ok. or maybe i'll do it just using the keyboard but now i'm just rambling on into nothing

I mean, the computer sits on a computer desk. And what else can a desk be used for? Homework! :p I am not sure where your computer is set up in your house, but here there is a TV right behind me. And you don't need a phone to talk to your girlfriend, that is what AIM is for ;). It all works out, I do every one of those, lol. The only time I'm not online is either when I'm eating dinner, sleeping, or when my dumb sister is on. I eat lunch while I'm online, and if it is not a serious breakfast, I'll eat while online as well :). If it wasn't for us having one phone line, or even having a dial-up modem, I would never be off.

Her dad won't let any AOL products on her computer, so no AIM. Also, my comp is upstairs, TV downstairs. And the desk is too small for anything but a monitor. But good ideas.

I am totally addicted to the net.

I always go online whenever I can and I mainly post on boards like this. I'm an admin on one... a mod on one and this and another one, just a member. I like being a member, because you don't really need to know the rules (except here you do). Being a mod / admin... you have to enforce the rules and I'm just liek "yeah... ok" and do so... but really I think some of the rules are silly... but I supose I could just change them.

Oh... I love to go on voice chat and sing.

Well, it would be nice to be able to talk to Ryan on the internet, but he doesn't get on to talk to me, even though he calls me long distance. That's the reason I became un-addicted to the internet, was so I could recieve calls from him, because his cell phone is free at night when I would usually go online. But now I can go online during the day while he's at work and talk to all my lovelies here! ^_^

Yep. I'm addicted. I'm usually either here, or reading fanfiction,or doing both. I eat lunch at school so I can't go on the compputer thenl, breakfast is too hectic for me, but dinner, I usually eat it at the computer(the exeptions being like.... christmas, my b-day, etc.). And the only internet bills I have to pay(er- i mean my mom has to pay are to our ISP, AOL, which has that unlimited prce thingy a month. I have dial up, so as for that, it's free(at least where I live, in AMerica)! In case you didn't know, all you have to do is find a town that when you call it, it's free(any sister swicthed the dial up number to a non free town, and the phone bill was around $100 dollars and my mom totaly flipped on her and made her pay the bill but heh, that a different story).

I wouldn't say I "addicted" per ssay, but I do really love the net. I But since I really don't do anything on it (neopets not included) beside talk to pplz (aka. chat rooms, messageboards, AIM, e~mail, etc.) I really wouldn't call it a net addiction, more of a social addiction.

My favorite aspect of the 'Net would have to be the social communications. IE: Message boards and MSN chat :D. Anyway, I can't remember who said it, or where, but most people are theirself on the net, unlike at school, when you try to obtain the social personality that you want. (this is true for me, and no matter how hard I try in real life...I'm *sigh* just wierd...)

I'm not addicted. I was off and on for a while; depending on how things were going in my life and how often I needed a distraction. OB is a nice place; been here over a year now. *sighs at the memories......* But anyway, I like getting on every now and then, probably about every other day. I always try to maintain an active social life........ I don't like being dependant on anything. ^_^

I'm not exactly addicted to the internet, just to messageboards. Particularly these ones....o.O Though our phone bill has always been $120+ over the "neccesary" limit ever since we've had the internet....lol.
