{I don't re-call ever seeing a thread like this if there is one..just close this one lol}

Yet again I seem to be able to injure myself! I have 2 cracked ribs and 2 broken ribs, and the idiot that I am, I am still playing baseball with them. Every year I do something that causes an injury. Heh...

So what injuries have you had caused by sports?
By something other than sports?

Me? I have had everything from broken toes to dislocated hips. I've also had torn ligaments (Sp) and shattered bones. Heh..I'm Gimpy!!

Random Fact of the Day; THis is the 1o,0o0 thread!

Well, I've had a boy "fall" on my ankle, breaking it and disabling me to play with my basketball team in the finals, I've been kicked in the head with a clete while playing goalie for my soccer team, and you don't want to know how I broke my arm...

I was playing "Thunder Hockey" once (it's like ice hockey...you use the same sticks/puks, except that it's not actually on ice...)...and I was standing behind someone who was going to hit the puck...and he swing his stick back and hit me right in the jaw...

It was SO painful lol

He hit me so hard that I fell backwards...my entire face hurt for days on end.

Although luckily, I didn't lose any teeth lol

But at the time, I was hit so hard that I nearly blacked out...I didn't even feel pain, I was just competely dazed. lol

So yeah, that's probably my worst sporting injury...

The worst sporting injury I've ever gotten is really pathetic. I was playing softball, and twice I was hit in the face. Once by my dad, and again warming up before a game when my friend hit me right on the bone under the eye. I've never broken anything. And it's not because I sit inside. I'm.....pretty tough. And I've done a lot of sports.....I guess I'm just lucky. :D

Well I never actually broke any bones due to sports or anything. But I have had my fair share of injuries. I tend to get hit in the face alot, either that, or fall and hit my back back square on the ground and get the wind knocked out of me. Then for all guys there is the feared low blow :twitch:

Ok, when I was around 6 or 7. I was taking tae-kwon-do (spelling?) and I was sparring with someone twice my age because he and my big-brother were good friends. Then he kicked me direcly in the face. I was bleeding from the nose, the mouth and everywhere else on my face.

I am scared to say anything. So far I am pretty much injury free. I have gone almost 17 years with out ever breaking or cracking a bone. I hope to keep it that way too. Its a good thing my desk is wood, I need to do alot of knocking on it....

Recently I got hit in the jaw with a soccar ball... but luckily it didn't bruise or anything, I seem to get hit in many places with soccar balls, so I try not to play it.
other than that I haven't really been hurt in a sport... most of my injuries are caused from my beeing acident-prone to other things.

I've never really broken anything, except my nose, but I've had my injuries playing basketball, sparring, training, skateboarding, throwing myself into stuff...we won't go into that but, nah nothing broken. *Knocks on wood*.

Yeah I think that glows without explanation...I sang saprano for awhile :twitch:
Heh, never had a problem with baseball cause I never played it. But wrestling with friends, and when I used to play soccer and having the ball drilled at me at high speeds brings much pain :drunk:

I've had some things happen to me playing child's sports. I remember getting hit in the neck with a medicine ball when I was playing 4-square in a gym class one time. I could barely breath for a minute almost. Hurt like I don't know what. Then when I was older, I fractured the growth plate in my left foot stepping off a chair wrong. Don't ask me how, 'cause I don't know how the heck somebody can fracture a foot stepping off a chair wrong.

There's no serious injury I can think of that I had...

But my sister had a dislocated shoulder once, and busted her chin on a jungle gym a long, long time ago.

I had a piece of wood lodged all the way down to the base of my nail once. It hurt so much, you have no idea. *shudders* Man, I'm getting chills just remembering it...

When I was five, I was showing my grandparents how I could ride my bike. It had just rained and I was riding on a gravel driveway. I fell and got a huge, deep cut in my right hand.

It is about three cm long, and is white now that it has healed. Man, I was so unlucky...

The One knows how many times I've broken my wrists, I think it's 4-6 times I really can't remember. I've broken the same toe twice and a thumb. (unbelieveably painful)

Plus the injuries I receive trying to spar The One, sparring other people, going to school. (What can I say, my friends seem to enjoy hitting me, they regret it afterwards though....)

I guess my worst injuries would be a huge gash across my face, my head cracked open, another huge gash near my eye (d*mn scar now) and a dog bite. But I think i got off easy. The times I got the huge gashes, I got them in gym class. Didn't even notice I had them until someone shouted "Gavin! Your bleeding!" They even had to pinpoint where the gash was for me to find it. It was crazy!
