i wanted to write this after i saw all the talk about the last eps. i sat and watched i think,288. ive got 288-291 on video and in it goku says pans the strongest in the family. i started thinking and thought, yea, she is. she did a lap around the planet. earth is 24,000 miles or so and in the saiyan saga it took goku forever just to run the 10,000 miles of snake way. little pan did the earth in for what i can tell, less than a day. shes deffinatly cool and i want to know if she just turns into a wuss in dbgt or if she keeps on and turns super sayian one day. whats the deal on that?
i also know theres a good chance someone might dis like this thread due to the possiblity of an existent pan thread. hence im gonna check right now and if there one there. well... hold on.
my god, theres no pan thread till now. i may actually get to see who the pan lovers are. went back three pages in the db area and not one thread. im sure she mentioned some where. but no threads. so... i ask for a bit of slack if you dont like pan.

First off, Pan does not, and cannot, reach the level of a Super Saiya-jin. This is primarily due to the fact that she is a girl. And Toriyama himself said in an interview that female Saiya-jin cannot become Super Saiya-jins. Why? We don't know, but that is how it is regardless what you've read, or seen online.

As for her being the strongest in the family, that is not neccesarily true. Gokou was probably just exagerating, but it is known that she is the fastest. You don't have to be strong to be fast. Some might argue that Gokou is the fastest since he can use the instantaneous movement (instant transmission) technique, but keep in mind that he is not actually moving when he does this. That's why he always appeared in the same position he left in whenever he used it. If Pan and Gokou were to race on foot, there is a good chance Pan would win. Though, FYI, it would be innaccurate to compare Pan's speed at the end of DragonBall Z, to Gokou's speed at the beginning of it. Gokou will have become faster by then.

Pan doesn't win the World's Martial Arts Tournament. She had the chance to because she was up against Mr. Satan, but she saw how much the fans loved him and would be disappointed in him if he lost. So she took pity on him and threw the match.

You have to remember that by the time Pan is around the standard power level has risen.

What I mean by that is as all the Z warriors get stronger, lower levels appear to be easier to reach (look at Trunks and Goten, they brought themselves up to a high level at that age) so Pan has far exceeded the level Gokou was at when he ran snake way, so Goku was at for example a power level of 10,000 (example) but Pan's power level may be in the millions, because the standard is set so high.

I heard that, that was Uub/Uubu that did that. I guess my sources were wrong. Hasn't she won a turnament once? I thought she showed Goku, (when he was in the Golden Oozaru form,) a picture of herself and she said it was when, "I won the tournament". Or did she say "match" and not "tournament"?

i think i need to watch dbgt so i can see what all there is that i dont know. i also think it kinda sucks that she never goes ss. it would be cool to see that, but oh well. i also wonder what the deal is with the kids ive only heard of and seen just a few shots, vegeta jr. and is there a goku jr.
also has anyone else see gokou as the spelling.
i have a wall scroll that has mystic gohan, piccolo, trunks goten and ss3 gokou above them all. in the bottom is spells the name gokou.
anyone else have that scroll? i bought it at a comic shop and that was about 2 years ago. when i got it, the shop owner said he had it for like atleast 3 years before i got it. so its old and may not be for sale any more. dont know.

Goku and Vegeta jr. are just the normal um...Goku and Vegeta. They both died against the evil Shenlong at the end of DBGT, and were wished back to life as kids. As for the spelling, Im pretty sure its just Goku, since that spells it out best, G-O-K-O-O.

::smacks face as a revelation occurs:: Of course it was Uubu the took pity on Mr. Satan.. Pan would naturally let Mr. Satan win out of respect cause he is her grandfather. I have no clue where my mind was..

And ProudClod, I don't know what you're on, but Gokou Jr. and Vegeta Jr. are not the same as Gokou and Vegeta. Gokou and Vegeta both live at the end of GT, Gokou submits himself to the good Shenron, but doesn't technically die. Vegeta Jr. and Gokou Jr. are the grandchildren of Pan. It is unknown who their parents are though.

Yes, it does indeed seem like your mind is wondering. Goku Jr. is undesputedly Pan's grandson, but Vegeta Jr.'s parents and ancestors (besides Bulma and Vegeta, duh) are unknown, they don't tell us for sure. Oh, and Vegeta and Goku arn't actually alive. It could be argued that Goku is, but living off the dragon wouldn't necessarily count. Vegeta would just be too old, heh. I mean, at the end of DBZ, I'm sure he is at least 40, and wasn't the flashforward after GT 100 years? Dang, so he would be about 150, eh? That's pretty old, Piro!

As for Pan, she is deffinitly not the fastest. Yeah, ok, she's fast and all, but didn't SSJ Gotenks circumfrance the Earth about 6 times in, like, 20 minutes? If he could do that, then I'm sure Goku and the rest of the Saiya-jins can too. Like stated, she is strong, but cannot go SSJ. Even if she somehow managed to reach the strength, she would never experience the transformation. But she is pretty darn strong.

when i was writting about pan, i was at a bias of only knowing the dbz stuff and not gt. with that in mind, i was saying; each gen seemed to go to new levels compared to the previous. when the dbz sagas ended; pan was strongest. i say that thinking of strong not just being brute strength but as strength to weight/age. if you look at it like that and keep toryiamas mind set of not continuing the series; you could say pan was the strongest at that point. i dont think gokou was thinking of a comparison between himself and her in a full power kamehameha bout.

Ok, cool...my brother told me about the whole wishing back deal. I knew about the grandchildren thing too, its just that his answer seemed more convincing.

Thanks for that! *goes to smack him one....*

im willing to bet those are fan art or gt stuff.
i believe though, that if she had continued at the pace of the end of dbz; she would be a super saiyan. but she didnt. she just wimped out for gt. i think.

Well those are truly fake Pan does not go Super Saiyan ever. She can't its impossible. You were looking at fan art because they never had her go and she would never because the CREATOR said they wouldn't and if the CREATOR says so its law in Dragonball Z. I'm not trying to be mean just stating the facts.

You people have to understand though, with how GT ended, there is no way they could actually carry on the series. Gokou is no longer on Earth since he sacrificed himself to be with the Shenron (the eternal dragon). In the supposed "AF", Gokou exists. In the TV special of GT at the very end, Pan is an old lady, and we don't even know if the likes of Gohan and them still exist. So it doesn't really fit in that someone could restart the series unless they introduced a bunch of new characters.

It is possible actually, Toryama may want to continue starting off the next Dragonball series with Goku and Vegeta Jr, and then introducing a whole load of new characters, I see it as Pan taking the Master Roshi role (except for the pervert act, lol).

Oh come on pan would make a cool pervert lol. I don't it would have been a good Idea to over with goku and Vegeta jr. There is after all a point where a seires, even the best, should be stopped. I heard about AF before I saw GT and at the time didn't know about Goku going with the eternal dragon or the dragon balls being sucked into him...

The DragonBall series has been OVER for many years now. It is not getting restarted. So talking about it like it is, is just pointless. Face the facts.
