Thanks for bringing this back!
This is a continuation of Tally's part. God, i am soooooo nervous.
**************
"A-a digivice!" stammered Tally as she gazed incredously from the dark gray-almost black- device to the dark champion towering over her.
"I am a tamer!" Tally was extremely excited."What would Riley and Yamaki say to this?"
But before she could go further with her 'I-can't-belive-it' speech, Devidramon silenced her.
"We must leave now." Devidramon said as he tilted his head up as he listened for more enemies as well as Megadramon and his partner, Gigadramon. The dark dragon lay down, indicating to Tally that she should climb up on to his shoulder.

With only a moments hesitation, Tally scrambled up on to her partner. Already, she could hear the whir and the monotonous drones of the machine digimon reinforcements.

Devidramon spread his wings and soared into the air.
Tally shrieked as her stomach lurched from the sudden take-off. Soon, she and her digimon were airborne, soaring over the city of the machines. Despite their current situation, Tally couldn't help feeling exhalted. She was up in the sky on a dragon all her own.
Even the clean, dull and gray city, teeming with hostile machines, looked astonishingly wonderful.

"Megadramon and Gigadramon have probably detected us and may find us soon." Devidramon broke into Tally's thoughts.
At once, she realized her situation and looked around wildly for the two hostile Ultimates, tightly clutching her partner's shoulder. She pictured them- serpentine creatures gliding through the air, their deadly missiles wreacking destruction in their wake. A missile crashed into a tall building just a few feet from them, Devidramon swerved wildly and put an extra burst of speed (but could not dodge a bunch of debris that flew from the damaged building) to evade their attackers......

A loud, explosion filled Tally's ears, and she snapped out of her imagination. In horrible realization, she saw two unearthly, serpentine creatures' weapons had indeed destroyed half of a tall building. Her heartbeat quickened. This wasn't imagination, this was real. Tally screamed as Megadramon and Gigadramon came into view, their eyes flashing red fire, missile launchers open , grinning terribly as they gained on their prey.
'Oh, they look horrible on T.V, and even worse in real life.'

Blasts of light and some more missiles from the grounded machines were exploding beneath them. Fortunately, Devidramon was flying high out of range.

"Devidramon, what are you doing?" Tally shrieked out in terror. "Why don't you tell them to stop like you did to those others before?"

Devidramon was startled at this. Back when Tally was about to be finished off, she stayed surprisingly calm, but now she couldn't stop shrieking. It was amazing how human ways of reaction changed so much.
"These are not the weak willed, mindless minions, whose brains only program when someone is controlling them." replied the demon digimon. "Megadramon and Gigadramon are incredibly smart and one slip up could spell death."

"Great info," said Tally, looking back at the pursuing ultimates." How do we fight them, or get outta here..yeah, getting outta here sounds better."

Megadramon and Gigadramon were flying rapidly within range and energy began to gather in their missile launchers.

"I have to digivolve in order to fight the Ultimates." came the reply. "As I cannot do that, we will get out of here."

"Giga Byte Wing!"
"Darkside Attack!"

The missiles sped toward the pair.

Before any sound could escape Tally, she and her partner were gathering speed. Soon everything was a blur, and then they couldn't see anything except white. It was like traveling faster than the speed of light.

Hey, Mina! That was good, don't feel ashamed! Of course you should continue writing, especially here, because we definately need more writers: there are only four of us who write here frequently: me, Ginny, Devidradude and Shaun, so do join us!:D

****************************
"Growlmon, you must digivolve!" Takato shouted through the airbubble.

The battle was on it's climax: MarineDevimon, Dragomon and Hookmon ("the Reeflords") and their troops were putting a hard opposition to their attacks. Growlmon digivolved to WarGrowlmon, and made the water bubble with his missiles. Plesiomon and her army fought well in their own element, but the best of all were the two MarineAngemons; Kenta's partner and it's new soulmate.

"Have you seen Calumon yet?" Henry asked Takato. Since Terriermon had stayed in the Wavemakers' castle, Henry had nothing else to do but to look for the little catalyst. Plesiomon was sure that a spy-Crabmon had taken him, and the tamers couldn't really argue with that.

"No, ask the brats there!" Takato replied in a frenzy-like status: the heat of the battle had taken his whole concentration.

Ai and Mako were psyching Impmon in an other bubble. Henry swam to it.

"C'mon, Impy, you can do it!" Ai said encouragingly.
"Yeah, go and beat the grap out of those crabs!" Mako grinned.
"Ur, I dunno, kidz...I kinda hate water...and it's been a while since I evolved...ya know?"
"Oh c'mon, Impy!" the twins sighed together.

"Hey, twins, have you seen Calumon out there?" Henry asked.
"Nope!"
"Na-ah!"
"Oh...Well, I'll be off then."

Ugh, I wish Terriermon was here too..., Henry thought.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Sandiramon wriggled to the bubble where Ai and Mako and Impmon were.
"Are you ready to digivolve, twinsssss?" the snake-deva hissed.
"Yeah WE would be but that stupid Impy won't do it!"
"Yah that's So unfair!"
"Now now...What would you sssay if I'd give you the power to watch over Impmon...let's say in ssssome sssssort of merged form?" Sandiramon asked.
"YAY!!! D'ya hear that Impy?" the twins joyed. "A BIOMERGE!!!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The big bubble blew from the power of the digivolution. When the bubblerain settled, a dark, two headed figure stepped out. A new mode was born: BEELZEMON GEMINI MODE!

Night had fallen on the mammalian court. Rika and Catsuramon had safely made it away from the toops, and were hiding near the river, totally unaware that Jeri and her crew were about to enter the palace courts. Jeri had been adimant that everyone, including a nearly rabid Renamon stick to there original plan. Now they crept up to the city walls and hid in the shadows.
"What now?" Makuramon whispered.
"You're the smallest, go scout out the guards." Pajiramon replied.
"Uhhh...ba gah. If I must." The monkey Deva scurried up the wall. He peeked his small head over the top, and say torchs lit everywhere. There didn't seem to be anyone on the move, except for the door guards, which were two WereGarurumon.
"Great." Makuramon thought as he scurried back down.
"Well? What did you see?" asked Sinduramon.
"Just a couple of Weregarurumon are guarding the gate. The courts seem to be empty." Makuramon replied.
"Well, now what do we do?" Jeri asked. "WereGarurumon look pretty fierce."
"They are, my dear." Pajiramon replied. "But I think that we can take them."
"Of course we can." Sinduramon spoke up. "Let's go."
"Wait!" Renamon said. "We have to be quiet about this, or someone will hear and the whole Mammilion army will be on our backs. Let me lure them out to you all, and then you can demolish them. But we must be quick about it!"
"Sounds good, Renamon, but be careful." Jeri said.
Renamon moved steathily toward the gates, then slowed to a graceful, suprisingly lady-like walk.
"Who goes there!?" one of the Weregarurumon shouted.
"A fellow mammal digimon. I seem to have lost my gifts to the queen. Could you boys come on down and help me?" Renamon winked at them. The two guards looked at one another and smiled, but only one came down.
"Shoot!" Jeri shrieked. "Only one came down!"
"I have a plan. Sinduramon said, and took silently to flight.
WereGarurumon walked upto Renamon and smiled.
"What am I looking for?" He asked.
"It was a gold statue of her majesty. I just had it. It must have fallen from my pack." Renamon replied. "Let's look back this way."
Renamon twirled her tail around the WereGarurumon's nose, who obediantly followed. When they had walked a hundred yards from the main gate, Renamon stopped.
"I think it was around here that I noticed it missing." She said perilously.
Makuramon hoisted a stone out of the ground and threw it over the wall to distract the other guard. It landed with a loud thud on the other side. The WereGarurumon stepped down to see what it was.
"Now!" Jeri said.
"Primal orb!"
"Thunder Stomp!"
"What the...." the WereGarurumon looked back just in time to see the attacks.
"Suprise." Renamon said sarcastically. "Diamond storm!"
The First Guard was vaporised. Almost imediatly, the second WereGarurumon came running out. He prepared an attack just as Sinduramon swooped down.
"Positron Pulse!" The attack caught him totally off guard. He fell, a little more than stunned.
"This ought to fix him." Pajiramon said, holding up her crossbow. She pulled the trigger and the arrow glowed as it hit WereGarurumon dead in the chest. He too Vaporised.
"There was a day when I would have loaded that data in an instant." Renamon commented.
"We've all come a long way." Pajiramon added. "Come. Quickly now." The group headed into the palace courts. They ran to a nearby alley, between to tall pillared structures.
"Do you notice anything funny?" Renamon finally asked, looking around.
"Yeah, there is no one around. I thought this place would be crawling with digimon." Jeri replied. "Wonder where they all are?"
"Shhhh....Listen." Pajiramon said.
Jeri strained to hear the low roar comming from the central part of the Palace grounds. She thought she heard some kind of chanting going on.
"Come on, Let's take a look." Makuramon said, walking out into the street. The group made their way towards the sound. There was kind of a central park within th whole complex, and everyone moved through it. The sound grew louder, and seemed to be comming from the very center of the park. As they approached, Jeri was in awe of what was in front of her. There, streched out across a field the size of three soccer fields, was the entire Mammalion Digimon sect. Near the front of the collisium, was a sort of throne-like structure, where Anubismon and Pharaohmon sat.
"Oh my gosh...so many digimon." Jeri said solemly.
Renamon scanned the crowd.
"No sign of Rika." she said.
"Wait. Listen....." Jeri said. Anubismon was speaking to the sect.
"We cannot allow the escaped human to run free. She holds the key to finally allowing us to succeed in our quest for freedom!"
"Key?.....Escaped? Oh no, Rika's not here!" Jeri gasped.
"We have got to go now!" Makuramon said.
"Yes I agree. We are in too great of danger to remain here." Renamon added.
The group ran back through the park area and into the street. They had almost made it back to the gates when something grabbed Jeri. She quickly turned to see her attacker and nearly fainted.
"LEOMON?!"
"Jeri! Run! He's not the same Leomon!" Renamon shouted, but Jeri just stared. The Leomon picked her up and ran back towards the gathering in the colisium. The others ran after them, but it was too late. Leomon had reached the throne of Anubismon.

Panjyamon and Renamon ran after the kidnapped Jeri. As animal-digimon they blended in the army perfectly.
"She's been taken towards the throne", Renamon whispered.
"We follow!" Panjyamon growled.

Leomon reached the Anubismon and Pharaohmon.
"I brought you the girl! Here!" Leomon said proudly. Anubismon glanced at shivering Jeri.
"You FOOL!!! This isn't the same one!" With these words Anubismon stroke the Leomon dead. Mammalian troops howled in excitement. Finally some action!

"This is what happens to idiots who dare to intrude me with nonsense! I am your queen, and you don't mess up with me!!!"

"No, Anubismon, you're no longer the queen, for I have come to take my rightful place in the throne!" Panjyamon shouted.
Renamon looked at the white lion-digimon ashtonished.

"Once you were my queen and partner, but then you surrendered to that Pharaohmon and you rejected the way of the Sovereigns! You thought you and your new loved one killed me, but I'm far from dead, as you can see! You'll no longer have power here, for these digimons will follow their original ruler: King Panjyamon!"

"AS IF! My loyal people, tear that traitor into pieces! Didn't me and Pharaohmon show you the right way to live? Didn't we promised you the power over all other digimon-species?" Anubismon shouted desperately.

The mass of fur and claws hesitated.

"Promises! They're worth nothing! Just lies to get what those two want! I can restore the old days, remember those? When there was no tribal wars, no dying or suffering! For the name of Sovereigns, destroy the traitors!" Panjyamon ordered. And the animal-people obeyed.

"Noooo...." Anubismon's shout was silenced by a horde of angry beasts.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You cursed lowlife being! You destroyed my plan! How do I explain this to master Milleniummon? Pharaohmon thought as he vanished to avoid the ripping claws and teeth of the fiery beasts. If I find that girl again, maybe then....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"P-Panjyamon...Is it true? Are you really...a king?" Jeri asked, when things were settled down.
"Yes, girl. My quest ends here, but you must go with the devas and find the others. Only then you can restore the powers of the Sovereigns."
"What happened to master Baihumon?" Pajiramon asked.
"Yeah, where is the old fur-back?" Makuramon repeated.

"My troops searched the area, but couldn't find anything -except this", King Panjaymon said, taking a SnowBotamon from the hands of one of his servants. "I'm afraid..."

"BWAHAHAA!!!" Makuramon bursted. "Is this little fella REALLY the great Sovereign?"

"Snap it, Makuramon!" Pajiramon said furiously. "He's still our master, and don't think he forgets your insults when he regains his powers!" The SnowBotamon gave Makuramon a mad face.
"Gulp!"
Then Jeri began to laugh cheerily, and the others joined her.

"RENAMON!!!"
The vixen-digimon turned, and saw her partner running towards the throne-platform were they were standing.
"Rika!"

Calumon's Back! I made a temporary description of BGM. Anyone may change it if they like.
*****************
The underwater battle stopped almost abruptly as everyone turned to gaze at Beezlemon Gemeni Mode. The digimon was horrifically impressive.
His skin was deep purple, almost black. Spiral horns decorated one of his heads as spikes coved his back and shoulders.
Cannons, guns, blasters, missiles covered his arms and most of his legs. He was armed with knives and stabbing objects as well. The new digimon showed off his large fangs as both his heads grimaced. Daggerlike claws glinted at his feet.

Takato and Henry stared at the new digimon with disbelif as Sandiramon looked upon him with satisfaction. Queen Plesiomon and her Wavmakers were ecstatic to have the new warrior on their side.

Beezlemon's double growl sent shivers up the enemies' spine. Even the leaders of the Reeflords looked on nervously as Gemeni Mode examined himself with obvious delight.

"Beezlemon Gemeni Mode." said Henry checking the digimon on his analyzer. "He is has awesome powers and his attacks are the Gemeni Missiles and the Gemeni Swords. They can instanly vaporize and slice anything on contact."

While MarineDevimon and Dragomon were still defiant, Hookmon was trembling visibly.
"Aar, Captain," he said nervously to MarineDevimon. Hookmon didn't want to disgrace himself in front of his warriors, but he really did not want to see how Beezlemon Gemeni Mode would test out his powers. "maybe, I should........go and bring reinforcements." he finished lamely.

An officer trying to deserting from the fight was an insult to the Reeflords. The warriors looked on as MarineDevimon forefully pinned Hookmon down on the ocean floor.
"You lilly livered scalawag! How dare you try to save your own worthless skin while we are here battling for our rights!" roared MarineDevimon. Hookmon tried to swallow, but his throat was suddenly dry(underwater).
He could see Dragomon also wanted to give him a piece of his mind. The digimon growled menacingly.

MarineDevimon thrashed the unfortunate officer on the oceanfloor once again. He was about to hurl some more insults, but Beezlemon Gemeni Mode intervaned.
"Let the loser go!" came the voice of Beezlemon and Ai from one head.
"Yeh, bring more lords for us to trash!" came Beezlemon and Mako's voices from the other head.
Dragomon roared. Queen Plesiomon and her Wavemakers glided back to ranks in case more digimon did arrive. Wargrowlmon floated next to Beezlemon.
"Ready to die?" mocked Takato. he pulled out cards and held his D-Power ready.
Suddenly a flash of gray moved on the Reeflords' side. Dragomon turned to the little digimon behind him as MarineDevimon flung Hookmon aside.
Dragomon started to laugh suddenly. He held up a cage made of coral and urchin spikes. MarineDevimon looked at the cage and a triumphant smile came upon his face.

".......Calumon?!" Henry Takato and the others were shocked at finding the little catalyst in the clutches of the enemy.
Beezlemon and Wargrowlmon slowly put down whatever attacks they were preparing.
Now What?

...whirrrTHUDwhirrrTHUDwhirrrTHUD...

Travelling with HighAndromon had its disadvantages. Being more than forty times stronger than Gardromon also made him forty times louder. Engines hummed, hydraulics whirred, and with every step, there was the clanking together of the various metal plates he was constructed of.

...whirrrTHUDwhirrrTHUDwhirrrTHUD...

?Do you have to sound like a locomotive?? Kazu complained. ?If there?s any evil Digimon out here, they can hear you from a three-day walk away. We are so gonna get pounded by...?

?By what?? Kenta asked. ?With all this firepower on our side, the noise is just a warning. They?ll go running before we get within miles of them.?

?Oh, sure,? Kazu said. ?Tempt fate, why don?cha? Just for that, watch about twenty VenomMyotismon come charging out of the...?

?Now who?s tempting fate? Let?s just figure out what we?re doing, and maybe find MarineAngemon. What are we doing, anyway??

Majiramon spoke. Since he was far too large to walk through the trees without knocking them over, he hovered above the ground and occasionally lowered his head to speak. ?Long-term? Bring all the different civilizations together in order to begin reconstruction. Of course, we?ve got to get them from ripping each other?s throats out over food, territory, or whatever else they can think of to fight over. Short-term, we try to reassemble the teams. All the Devas and everyone who fought D-Reaper.?

?Even shorter term, we get back to the village. They?ll be wondering where we are. We?ve got to let them know we?re all okay, and that we?re already looking for Lopmon,? Zilla said.

?And before that,? Vajramon said, ?we should get your companion some medical attention.?

?I don?t know,? Zilla said loudly. ?Yoshi could use the down-time to think.?

?This self receives edge this soon,? Yoshi mumbled from Majiramon?s back. As he was unable to walk, the others had secured him to Majiramon?s back with vines to transport him. He was slowly recovering, but some of the Jamming Hertz?s effects were still felt. Just as, when he tried to move an arm or leg, the signal was altered, corrupted, or otherwise mixed up between his brain and said arm or leg, causing his attempts at movement to move the wrong limb in the wrong direction, when he tried to talk, his attempts at speech rarely ever produced the words he intended. At best, he produced words that, taken individually, meant the same as the word he was trying for, but, when put together, made virtually no sense.

?He says ?I get the point already,?? Zilla translated.

?They would have attacked whether he, or anyone else, wanted a fight or not,? Vajramon said. ?He was right to prepare for combat.?

?Perhaps. But he has a habit of biting off more than he can chew. I worry about him.?

HighAndromon looked up quickly at Zilla?s comment about biting off more than he could chew. Memories of taking on Orochimon and a few of the worse ADRs came to mind.

*****

?We?re almost here,? Zilla said. ?We should be meeting our lookouts any moment now.?

?It?s about time,? Kazu and Kenta muttered together. They still tended to say the same thing at the same time when frustrated. Ryo said nothing. The walk hadn?t bothered him much. After having chased Cyberdramon from one battle to the next, as he?d spent most of his original stay in the Digital World doing, a walk like that was nothing.

?Hopefully, this keeps us out of trouble for a while,? Hopmon said. ?Not many potential attackers waiting to drain the life out of us or something.?

?I?m sorry about that, Hopmon,? Alice said genuinely. ?You don?t know what the hunger is like. It takes over, and I can?t resist. Dobermon and I shared a kind of symbiosis. My energy sustained him, while his sustained me. Now that he?s...? she swallowed hard, ?...gone, it?s like I?m starving, and will do whatever I can to replenish my energy. I?ve become a cannibal. At times like this I hate myself for what I do, and would give anything to never have to again. I?ve said to myself that I?d just let myself die rather than kill again. But when the hunger takes over, all that goes away. I?m the killer again, and I even enjoy luring in victims at the time.?

?I understand,? Hopmon said.

?You... what? You do??

?In most of my forms, I?m pretty normal. Mentally, I?m just as I am now. But that was before me and Ryo tangled with a synthetic Digimon called Millenniumon. We won... barely, and I absorbed some of his data. Some, but not all. It allowed me to digivolve into Cyberdramon for the first time. And I turned into a monster that makes even Millenniumon seem tame. He at least has a method to his madness. All I did was fight and kill. Always trying to find my true enemy. I searched for him, or her, or it, by attacking whoever was in my path. If killing them was too easy, then obviously that?s not who I?d been looking for. Sometimes the opposing Digimon was hostile... sometimes they just had the bad luck to be in my way. Ryo sometimes had to use an energy rope to restrain me when I got especially violent. Sometimes it worked... sometimes it didn?t. One time... once I almost killed him. It?s like I?m a rabid animal. I don?t think, I don?t reason... I just kill. A few times that I?ve been able to devolve, I felt awful about what I?d done as Cyberdramon. I tell myself I won?t let it happen again, but I can?t stop it. When I?m Cyberdramon again, the rage is back. I can?t think about fighting it because I can?t think, period. The enemies we?ve faced... at least they had reasons for what they did. I just killed because ?I?m Cyberdramon and that?s what I do.??

Alice placed a comforting hand on Hopmon?s fin. ?Maybe the Sovereigns can help us both once this is all over.?

?I hope so.?

Zilla called for everyone to stop, and Alice and Hopmon looked ahead. There were two twin cat Digimon in front of Zilla, one white, one black.

Ryo raised his Digivice, but Kenta stopped him. ?I almost never get to do it.? Reading from his own digivice, he said, ?They?re Gatomon and BlackGatomon. Vaccine and Virus, respectively. Other than that, their stats are pretty much the same. Champion beast Digimon whose Lightning Paw is said to be the fastest attack in the Digital World.?

?Difference is, I?m cuter,? the two cat Digimon said together, grinning toothily. Gatomon turned to Zilla. ?They?re all with you??

?That?s right,? the elder DarkTyrannomon answered. ?Including...? he pointed skyward. The two feline Digimon looked up to see the large dragon circling above, completely silent despite his size. The cats gasped.

?Where?s Yoshi?? BlackGatomon asked after tearing her eyes away from Majiramon. ?Wasn?t he with you??

?Right now, he?s up there, recovering from an attack by the Hive.? He gestured to Majiramon.

?Hey, Yoshi, you okay?? BlackGatomon shouted up.

?Not exist preferable!? Yoshi yelled back.

?Never been better,? Zilla translated as Gatomon and BlackGatomon raised their right eyebrows at once. ?Searchmon,? he explained. ?Their Jamming Hertz does interesting things to a Digimon?s data pathways. At least he?s talking now.?

Gatomon nodded, and continued looking over the group. She finally spotted Alice. ?You?re back?? she said. ?I haven?t seen you since the D-Reaper incident. Where?s Dobermon??

Alice looked down. ?He?s... gone.?

?Oh, I?m so sorry,? Gatomon said. ?You poor thing... wait, how can you still be alive??

?I?d... rather not discuss it.?

?I understand,? she said, though she didn?t.

BlackGatomon smiled. ?I can think of someone who might be able to cheer you up,? she said. ?Hey! Over here!?

A voice called from elsewhere in the woods. ?What is it??

At the sound of the voice, Alice?s mouth dropped open. ?Is it really... ??

The twin cat Digimon nodded as one.

Soon, a boy walked into view. He was short, about Kenta?s height, and as pale as Alice, and sported twelve white wings, even two small ones where his ears should have been. When he saw Alice, he smiled brightly. ?I was wondering if you?d ever return,? he said in a calm, soothing voice that echoed slightly.

Alice gasped. ?I can?t believe it?s you!? she said, running to throw her arms around him, and then leaning down to kiss him on the lips. ?I was worried that D-Reaper would get you while I was away.?

?No such luck,? the boy laughed.

Ryo, Kazu, and Kenta, Hopmon, and HighAndromon stood in shock, witnessing Alice?s very un-Alice-ish behavior. They had never seen her smile before, and had never imagined her showing affection. ?So you two... know each other?? HighAndromon finally said.

?No, doofus, you think?? Kazu said. ?Oh, yeah,? he added, remembering to check his digivice. ?Let?s see. Lucemon, a Rookie angel Digimon. But these power levels look more like an Ultimate?s. This guy could do some serious damage if it came down to it. His attacks are Grand Cross and Divine Feat. Whatever that means.?

?I?m sure he?ll be happy to escort you all to the Village. Right?? Gatomon said.

Lucemon nodded slowly, not taking his eyes away from Alice.

?Thought you might not object,? BlackGatomon teased. ?Come on, Gatomon, let?s keep patrolling.?

?Do we have to?? her Vaccine sister mock-whined.

?Come on. Just another half-hour and we?re off duty anyway. Then we can go back and have some of Babamon?s cooking.?

The two cat Digimon departed, leaving Lucemon with the team. ?Right this way, then,? he said, leading them through the thickest part of the tangled bushes and vines. It was surprisingly easy to cross. Lucemon explained that most of it was an illusion. Wizardmon had used spells to make the way appear impassable. Just as the brush looked its thickest, it suddenly dropped away, and the group found themselves in a large clearing. Several small houses and shops, each of different shapes, sizes, and designs, were scattered about.

?We?re here,? Lucemon announced.

?Cool, but... where is everbody?? Kenta asked.

Lucemon looked back to the village. Normally, it was always busy, but now, no one was walking about. The few stores and shops whose doors were open had no customers or proprietors. Lucemon motioned for HighAndromon to stop moving, and, in the silence that followed, Lucemon listened for any signs of people working or talking, or children playing, or machinery, or any of the sounds that was normally ever-present. But there was none. The entire population seemed to have vanished without a trace.

(I thought Panjyamon was left back at Indramon's pyre? Where'd he come from? Ah well, coolies anyway!
Also, [hint]just 'cause Gazimon turns into Kokatorimon in this post doesn't mean that he always does![/hint])
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Devidramon and Tally sped for sometime, until she lost all sense of direction, of time. Tally's honey colored hair whipped about her face and she had long since tried to pull it out of her eyes.
"Where are we going?" she hollered, her voice torn from her throat and scattered behind her by the wind. Devidramon moved his head a little to acknowledge her speaking, but did nothing else. Behind them, a white trail, already fading, streaked through the sky.
"Those idiots'll be able to find us, don't you think?"
Devidramon grunted, then tilted to one side; the pair glided to the ground.
"Why did we stop here?"
Once again, Devidramon did not reply, but simply remained motionless. His sides heaved slightly, and Tally instantly recognized the signs of fatigue.
"You poor thing..."
Devidramon's ears suddenly shot up and he pulled Tally to him. He then bowed his head, turning them both to stone.
Overhead, Megadramon and Gigadramon scouted, missing the stone statue that blended perfectly with the ground.
"Light beam coming," Gigadramon grunted.
"Head back," Megadramon agreed. The two Ultimates turned to return their findings, however bleak, to Machinedramon.
"Master Machinedramon will not be happy," Megadramon pointed out.
Gigadramon snorted. It was his way of answering something he could not.
Behind them, the data stream streaked along the ground, racing along as if searching for something. As soon as it was within 100 yards of the stone Devidramon, it almost bucked and instantly surged to him, sucking him up.
"And now," FlaWizardmon/ArcDaemon screamed, "prepare to--"
He was cut short as the stone statue of Devidramon and Tally plummetted from the sky and smacked him on the head, then rolled off.
Everyone gasped.
"Amazing," Riley gaped, "Not a scratch on it...and it looks so lifelike...look at the human in its grasp...almost looks like..."
"TALLY!" Yamaki yelled.
"Oh dear," Antylamon groaned. "He shouldn't have done that..."
"Why not, Antennamon?" Suzie asked.
"He..." The Rabbit deva blinked down at her young partner. How was she going to explain this? "Let's just say he can't play right now. Maybe...maybe never again."
"Never?" Suzie blinked, looking scared.
"Oh don't be so dramatic, girl!" Kumbhiramon scoffed. He pointed a metal leg at the statue.
It glimmered for a moment, then returned to its natural state.
FlaWizardmon was recovered enough to attack now, and took the situation in at an instant.
"Oh, is this ever going to be sweet," he grinned evilly.
"Devidramon!" Mihiramon growled.
"Tally!" Riley gasped.
"Antennamon!" Suzie cried out.
"Somebody do something!" Yamaki hollored. "Oh, for the love of...ARGH!"
Gazimon was already streaking toward FlaWizardmon.
"Lame heroics never won wars, kid!" Yamaki screamed at the Rookie.
"Don't worry boss, I can handle--AUGH!" Gazimon was instantly smacked into the stone statue.
"I can't believe this..." Yamaki groaned. He held up his digivice. "Any time now!"
Gazimon still looked groggy. He grinned lopsidely and sagged against the statue.
"Three for the price of one, I love it!" FlaWizardmon chortled. He raised one hand...
...Riley flung something at Yamaki...
...he grasped it, thrust it through the digivice...
"Digimodify! Digivolution activate!"
"Gazimon, digivolve to...Kokatorimon!"
"What the hey? That never happened before..."
Kokatorimon glared at FlaWizardmon. "PetraFIRE!"
The Ultimate was instantly frozen.
"And if it works on him," the rooster cackled. He turned to Devidramon's statue. "Petra FIRE!"
"What are you doing you IDIOT!?" Yamaki cursed loudly. The statue turned even more stony, if it was possible, and Kokatorimon turned back into Gazimon.
"Just watch, boss--I got everything under control."
The moment Gazimon turned back into himself, the stone edge began to wear off...freeing Devidramon and Tally.
...and also FlaWizardmon.
"Under control, huh?" Yamaki glared at Gazimon.
"Uh...oops?"
[*Looks around the stickied thread*How...??? Well, miracles happen!:D
Ungh, sorry about Panjyamon...eh, let's say he had his quiet moment already...time twist, okay?*sweatdrop*]
************************************
Green moors glimmered in the sunshine. Two girls sat on top of a flat rock.
"This looks like Ireland, don't you think?"
"Well, sort of...I've only seen pictures, so it's kinda hard to say..."
"Hey, Rika, what do you think the others are doing at this moment; I mean Takato and Henry and the others? We haven't seen them since we got separated in the mist. I'm worried..."
"Don't be, Jeri. I'm sure they are doing just fine. But it would help to know WHERE they are doing fine!"
"Bo-bo-BO!" a little voice said behind them.
"Heey, Snowie!" Jeri said smiling, grabbing SnowBotamon to her arms.
"Snowie?! You call him Snowie? Jeri, he's a freaking Sovereign!"
"So? Now he's cute, and that's all that matters!"
Suddenly a shadow covered the sunshines. The girls looked up frightened.
"RENAMON! Don't do that!" The vixen-digimon had done her "shimmering" trick again, appearing right behind their backs.
"Sorry to interrupt your chattering, but there's a datastream approaching us."
"WHAT???"
In the same instance they were forced to a purple pillar of light, which carried them to another part of the digiworld.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

"Rika, Rika! Where are we?" Jeri asked, still holding SnowBotamon tightly.

Rika looked around the gloomy landscape. Darkgrey sky, crooked trees, twisted vegetation. She saw Renamon, the three devas (Pajiramon, Makuramon and Chatsuramon) and RedShinduramon, but then she noticed other figures floating around them too.
She took out her digivice. "Bakemon, champion ghost digimon."

"Bwahahaa, you've intruded our territory!" one Bakemon said
"Huahahaa, you shouldn't be here!" another continued.
"Grahahaa, the Oracle's going to get mad!" yet another warned.
"Tehehee, welcome to the valley of the Ghastly Gang, the group of elite ghost-digimons!" a fourth introduced.

"Bwahah, Huahah, Grahah, Teheh [names of the Bakemon]!" a shriek voice shouted from the shadows. "Let our guests be!"

"Your Oracliness!!!" the four Bakemon shouted in unison.

From the shadows stepped a tall, cloaked figure.
"Don't be intimidated by my minions, dear guests. They're just doing what they do best: scare intruders! Indeed, welcome to the Valley of the Dead Digimon. I'm the leader here. I'm known as "the Oracle", but I can as well show you my true form."

The black cloak swinged and disappeared, leaving the deathly courgeous appereance of LadyDevimon.

Yup, because the real Shinduramon died in the claws of Alice/Youkomon -and he wasn't red.;)

But do ask if something is troubling you, Mina (or anyone else)! Wouldn't want to confuse this story anymore than it is!:D (But I think we have handled the misunderstandings pretty well thusfar.)

Folks, keep Tamers alive!:D

A few more questions:

(1) Who's still unaccounted for? Anybody?

(2) Are we calling the red Sinduramon "RedSinduramon" now? Until now, he's just been a Sinduramon, only red, as opposed to a completely different species of Digimon.

(3) Petra Fire is supposed to be Petrifier. (Okay, not a question. :p)

(4) What's going to happen with ArcaDaemon? I mean, the guy can take on Megas in his In-Training form. A pastry will last longer against Guilmon then the whole lot of Tamers would last against ArcaDaemon.

(5) And with the Wavemakers versus the Reeflords, how do the Tamers know the Reeflords are the bad guys? How do they know which side, if any, is right? The battle sounds like just another territorial dispute to me. And I'm sure the Wavemakers have a long list of grievances against the Reeflords, but the reverse is probably also true. That's how it is in war.

=====

Pharaohmon stood before the crystal that was the window to the limbo in which Millenniumon was imprisoned, all of his attention focused on not quaking in terror. Millenniumon liked his lieutenants to appear brave and strong, even when dealing with him. He demanded obedience and respect, but he felt that if they quaked in their boots before him, then they'd also quake before a powerful enemy. Unfortunately, he had a nasty habit of trapping those who displeased him in crystals, in which they were frozen in time, knowing and experiencing nothing. The idea generally evoked much quaking in one's boots.

So Millenniumon was quite often displeased.

"L-lord M-m-millenniumon... uh... sir..."

"Just Millenniumon," the imposing figure depicted in the crystal corrected him. "I don't care for titles."

"Yes, sir... I mean yes. I-I have come to beg your... f-forgiveness..."

"Never beg, Pharaohmon. I will forgive failure before I will forgive weakness. I released you from limbo because I thought you were a warrior, with the fortitude necessary to restore me to power, and become my second in command once I am freed. Do nothing that will convince me otherwise."

Pharaohmon nodded respectfully, not trusting himself to speak without his voice wavering.

"You are still useful to me for now," Millenniumon continued. "Remain where you are and await my instructions."

Pharaohmon nodded again. The communication crystal went dark. Pharaohmon nearly sank to his knees.

*****

Still very effective, though none too brave, Millenniumon thought. Unfortunately, the truly fearless are also stupid. As I once was. He had figured that his powers made him invincible. He only had his own recklessness to blame for his long imprisonment. He had thought he could take on the Sovereigns, but he had rushed in without a real plan. It was a mistake that had cost him dearly, one that he would never make again. Working behind the scenes was more effective.

He had recruited Pharaohmon, whom Baihumon had imprisoned, and whose goals were similar to his own. He had promised to make Pharaohmon powerful if he followed Millenniumon's plan. Though he didn't have the strength to send himself back to the digital world, he was able to transmit Pharaohmon. But, he kept a tie to him, a tether of sorts, that allowed him to watch Pharaohmon's actions, and, if necessary, pull him right back into limbo... or, worse yet, into one of his extra-temporal crystals. They were his favorite punishment. When he used them, all who remained got the message immediately. In the time since he had learned to make them, he had had no more than three occasions that required their use. And everyone ever to work for him felt that they were no more than one false step, one wrong move, one wrong word, away from spending eternity in one.

Little did Pharaohmon know that he had not actually failed. One more Sovereign was out of the way. They were as impossible to kill as he himself was, but where there had been the Guardian of the West, there was now a YukimiBotamon who wasn't up to guarding anything. Soon, with them out of the way, he would be free. And while killing the Sovereigns was nearly if not entirely impossible, if they were no longer the Sovereigns, there would still be no one to maintain the seal that was keeping him locked away. There was nothing 'sovereign' about a Mikemon and a YukimiBotamon. From working behind the scenes, he was closer to achieving his goal than ever. And he could always reclaim the Mammalian Masters once he was free. They may have returned to Baihumon, but Baihumon was gone, and "Snowie" was in his place. All he had to do was make a few promises, and they'd belong to him, and there'd be nothing that a YukimiBotamon could do about it. The remaining Sovereigns had assigned more Tamers, but there wasn't much that a few more humans and a Champion or two could do to stop his plans. Zhuqiaomon and Ebonwumon didn't even know that it was he who was the cause of part of their problems.

So, who shall I go after next? The bush or the bird?

::laughs:: Wow...Baihumon's a Yukimibotamon. Deja vu!

Devidramon: There's several ways to spell it, and that was the one that popped into my mind at the time. Right now, though, my brain is mush from updating the Digidex. *grumbles* And the computer would crash just before I uploaded it all, including the Hybrids. >_<'

General: (1) No one has been forgotten, as far as I can tell. 'Cept Ebonwumon has yet to make an appearance...or has he? *reminds everyone her brain is mush, and her hand still hurts from the other day (it's busted pretty bad, so guess how long it's taking to type this up?)*
(2) RedSinduramon's fine by me.
(3) See Devidramon:.
(4) Um....? I dunno if ArcDaemon had even possessed FlameWizardmon; I just guessed...does anyone know?
(5) It's called plot, heh! ;)

Cera: Gee, who was the old friend? ;) And yeah, I remember the Baihumon to YukimiBotamon bit from our story. And PLEASE join in! You write so well!

What happened to your hand, anyway? I know it's OT, but I can't think of anything to write right now. (In fact, the last part was something I sorta threw together so the five questions thing wouldn't be too OT.)

And I don't mean to bug you about the petrifier thing, but if I don't bring it up, it'll bother me literally for days. I just have to say it: Kokatorimon's attack petrifies things, and anything that petrifies is a petrifier. Petra Fire's a CC blunder a la Hugelmon, Peyusumon, etc.

Say, what all do you need to recover from the crashing? I'll do what I can. I'm still looking for pictures.

And where's this story of yours and Cera's?

I posted part of the Digistory a month or two ago. Most of the original was deleted with v2, and a lot of it is waiting patiently on my hard disk for me to go through and clean it up into a readable story.

Okay, I've got something with the underwater war, but first, I need to know a little bit about those Data stream thingies. I missed all of that part of the show, I think. Can anyhone give me a briefing as to what they are, what they do, where they go....[and could they be underwater?]

Devidra: What's OT? Well, it's embarassing, but I had gone into a rage Monday night and slapped a wall hard. Instant bruisification. As far as Kokatorimon's attack, I have seen it spelt as Petra Fire, other than on CC. (Besides, IMO, it looks cooler than Petrifier.) I guess we could always change it to Frozen Fire Shot if it's really gonna bug you. ;) I'll email you some more stuff I need for the Crash--at the moment, I'm working to get all the new ones up 'fore I continue fixing the old stuff.

Cera: Data streams are large, colorful (mostly pink, green, white) "sunrays" that extend from the real world hovering about the Digital World. Anytime one of us computer types searches for something (unsure if that was meant in an open file way or an internet way), the data stream shoots down to search for that "object"--and anyone unlucky enough to get caught in them get instantly transported elsewhere. I always thought that meant they'd end up in the real world, but apparently, the data streams throw you to another part of the Digital World (and I guess they move you up a plane, too). As for going underwater...dunno. Why not?

Okay, I can use the data streams then, I guess. It'll work better that way.

Better warn y'all, I'm a little rusty with writing...bear with me. This turned out to be pretty choppy narration.... -_-;

And any <> punctuation is thought communication.

The two marine armies were preparing to attack. Takato and Guilmon were getting more and more excited--but Henry was visibly upset.

"Takato, this isn't our fight. We shouldn't be here."

His friend glanced at him. "Aw, c'mon Henry. We're just helping out some friends of a friend." He jerked his head, indicating MarineAngemon. "No harm done."

"What about our friends?" Henry demanded.

Takato blinked. "Huh?"

"What about Rika and Kazu and Kenta and--" Henry's throat thickened, and his voice sounded strange "--and Suzie?"

Takato's face was impassive.

"What about Jeri, Takato?"

Takato's look softened.

"For all we know, they're in trouble--and we're here stuck fighting some underwater war between to factions we don't know, over a stretch of ocean we don't care about, in a world we don't belong to!" Henry's voice grew more upset with each phrase until he was almost yelling. He finished abruptly and seemed to sag.

Takato looked at his friend kindly. "Look, Henry--I know you're worried. I am, too. And I know why you're upset--"

Henry stiffened. How could he possibly know about Terriermon?

"You're scared to Biomerge with Terriermon after the Doodlebg thing." Henry opened his mouth in disbelief. "That's okay," Takato continued, "I would be, too. But that's no reason for you to be jealous about me and Guilmon going mega."

Henry gaped. "Why, you arrogant--!!" But he was interrupted by a confused Plesiomon.

"What's going on?" the leader cried. Takato and Henry looked across the battlefield. Inexplicably, the ReefLords were retreating.

There was a joyous cry from the ranks of the Wavemakers. "That Sea Scum knows we're too good for them. They don't stand a chance!"

Takato joined in the cheer.

Henry was puzzled. It was clear to him the ReefLords didn't fear the wavemakers, not when they had Calumon as a hostage--so why were they leaving? There was something in the distance--He squinted and tired to make it out. "Uh oh--Takato--"

Takato either didn't hear him, or was now ignoring him.

"Uh...Takato?" Guilmon tugged on his tamer's sleeve. "Something's wrong...."

"What is it, boy?"

Guilmon pointed.

"Oh, no....We've got to get out of here!" A giant tidal wave of a data stream was speeding towards them.

Takato ran [uh....how do they move in those bubbles? I'm assuming they're in bubbles? Eh, never mind...] to Queen Plesiomon.

"Data stream--Huge--coming this way--hafta get out of here!"

Plesiomon looked in the direction he was pointing, and nodded. "Light Tsunami."

Takato gaped. "You have a name for that thing?!"

"They occur when, over time, many data streams enter the water and lose their course. They join together and form--" She looked at the coming disaster--"that. We have safehold from them. Bring your friends, and let the current carry you!" She looked at a dolphmon nearby. "Sound the alarm, activate the emergency current, and hurry!"

Takato hurried back to Henry and Guilmon. "It's a Light Tsunami-- she says they've got a stronghold from it--come on!"

That moment, a huge, deep, searching cry was heard--or felt--all around them. "What was that?" Henry gasped.

"Their alarm--so everyone knows to get out of the way!" Henry just stood there. "That includes us, Henry--come on!" Takato grabbed his arm.

Henry stayed motionless. "The twins--"

Takato's face went white.

"Oh, no."

The trio rushed through the retreating Wavemakers to the edge of the battlefield. "Beelzemon!" Takato screamed. "Get out of there!"

But BGM was battling the fierce emergency current--and, remarkably, winning--but why was he trying to reach the other side?

"What's he doing?" Takato cried.

Henry's eyes searched the area, and saw--nothing. "I don't know, Takato--Beelzemon!"

***

Beelzemon--Impy, Mako, and Ai--forced themselves against the swift current. "Where'd this come from?" Impmon grunted. "We were fine a minute ago!"

"Hold on, Calumon!" Ai yelled. "We're coming!"

Unseen by the two boys, Calumon was still stuck in his coral cage, forgotten by the ranks of retreating ReefLords.

"Ohhhh!" Calumon cried nervously. "Hurry!" Frightened and alone, his ears were almost none existant.

"You really do look like a creampuff," Impmon's voice strained. "Hold on....almost.....there!" With a final exclamation, they broke free of the Wavemaker's emergency current and tumbled into the ReefLord's territory.

"We're here, Calumon!"

Beelzemon Gemini Mode grabbed the cage. "Close yer eyes, kid," he said gruffly, and snapped the coral bars that held their [his? Agggh!!!! Death by pronouns....] friend captive. With a cry, he swung the little In training into the current he had just struggled against, and watched with grim satisfaction as Calumon was swept to safety.

But it was too late for Beelzemon. The Light Tsunami, huge and unstoppable, rolled over him, and he disappeared in the many-colored data.

***

"BEELZEMON!"

"Mako! Ai! Impmon!"

Henry and Takato watched in horror for a moment. Then, Henry's voice: "Takato we've got to get out of the way!"

"But Beelzemon--"

"Come on! Henry grabbed Takato by the arm and dove into the swiftening [is that a word?] current. They were swept away, just ahead of the Light Tsunami, until the current veered and sped into a darkened cave.

***

Impmon's voice cried.

The trio--or rather, BGM--were lost in the Data stream, surrounded by many-colored data, and completely without any sense of time of direction.

BGM looked around. There wasn't really much to see. "Colorful," one of the heads commented. The other rolled its eyes.

Ai's eyes widened.

***

It was some time later, and the Data Stream was clearly moving faster. Mako's head yawned. "Borrrrrring."

Ai's shook her head. "Something's wrong," Impmon said. "It don't feel right. Like I'm being pulled in too many directions."

Impmon was right. Up ahead, though they couldn't see it, the Light Tsunami was caught in a whirlpool.

"I feel it, too," Ai said.

"Yeah...." Mako admitted after a moment.

The feeling grew rapidly worse.

Impmon cried out in pain. Mako and Ai felt it, too. "That hurts!" one of them cried.

Ai felt herself being torn apart.

Mako looked for her, and saw her glowing bio-merge sphere pulling farther away from his own. He closed his eyes and latched onto her with his mind.

Ai screamed.

he yelled back.

Impmon cried. Then,

All three screamed as one crushing, soul-splitting moment tore their world in two.

***

Impmon groaned and rolled over on the hot sand. "Where am I?" he muttered.

"I don't know," he said.

"What?!?"

"Impmon?"

"Ai?!"

Impmon looked down at himself. No longer Beelzemon Gemini Mode, he was smaller, with only one head--who was he? "Ai, is that you?" he asked.

"Yeah," she answered. "I guess we're still biomerged? Sorta.... But where's Mako?"

Caluuuu!!!

Calumon bounced around his cage. The cage was rolling down a hill, where the data wave had left it.
"Uch! Ouch! Ungh!" another voice complained. Calumon opened his eyes and saw a little boy hanging behind the cage.

Then the bouncing stopped, as they reached the bottom of the hill.
"Calu? Are you okay, Mako?"
"Ungh, I think so...but what happened to Impy and my sis? Weren't we biomerged a while ago?"
"The big wave separated you, calu. It wasn't supposed to happen..." Calumons ears diminished.
"Oh don't be sad, little dude! Well find them, I promise! But first we have to find out where we are..."

It was raining, and the water kept Mako from seeing very far. He saw that there were mountains surrounding them, and everything seemed kind of..sad and gloomy. The trees, the clouds, the rocks, the ghosts...everything.

"GHOSTS?!" Mako shouted ashtonished. A Phantomon approached them.
Haaargh, you have violated the peace of the Valley of Death! You must join us...wait, you aren't a digimon!
"No I'm not, thanks for noticing! Look, I'm a Tamer, and I'll whack your gloomy butt if you touch me or Calumon!"
Haaarrr, I'm truly sorry, your Tamerness! I'll escort you to the Oracle. She awaits you!
"HAH! You'll escort me to nowhere! This Oracle might as well be a freaking LadyDevimon, if she's anything like this place supposes!"
Ahah, child, you have no idea how close you are. But you'll come with me, you wanted or not! FATHER TIME!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"Ah, we have more guests! Just wait", LadyDevimon said to Jeri, Rika and the others. At the moment they were at a huge black mansion, just the like you'd see in old horrorfilms, with bats, cobwebs, skeletons and all.
Rika looked at the foaming teacup.
"Ugh, I think I'll pass this one!"
"Me too!" Jeri replied. Suddenly her eyes widened. "W-what...? I'm feeling something...!"
The big frontdoors opened dramatically just when a lightning flashed. A Phantomon floated inside, carrying an unconsious boy holding a small cage.
"Oh honey, please don't bring water inside!" LadyDevimon sighed.
Sorry, honeypuff!, Phantomon said ashamed.
"Now, place the poor child to that sofa."
"Jeri, look! It's Mako!" Rika gasped.
"And...CALUMON!!!" Jeri shouted, running to the cage, opening it.
"Oh Calumon, I've waited for you! Now I know that were meant to be together!"
"C-calu...?" Calumon asked, raising his eyelid carefully. "JERI!!! WHEE!!!" Calumon rushed out from his prison and leapt in Jeri's arms.
Then a bright lightball appeared above them. The light diminshed, until it was just a size of a...
"Digivice?" Jeri gasped, her eyes tearing with joy. A clear-white D-power descented to her hand. "I'm a tamer again...I'm Calumon's Tamer!"
Clutching the white digivice in one hand, Jeri wrapped both arms around Calumon and hugged him close to her.
"Calu, JERI, calu, JERI, CALU, oh Jeri...are you happy now?"
Jeri smiled so hard she was afraid her face might break. But she didn't care--she was happy. "Oh Calumon..." she whispered, resting her forehead on his. He giggled and patted her cheeks with his paws.
"Oh gag," Rika said, fighting to supress a grin. She lost the fight, and it broke over her face. "Glad you're happy, Jeri."
"Thanks, Rika, that means a lot."
"Yeah, now you can be a real Tamer again--" Rika nearly kicked herself in frustration. Idiot! she scolded. Where do you think you get off reminding her of--
Jeri gasped, and suddenly reached into her pocket. Her empty pocket. "Where is it?" she asked, sounding scared. "Where is it?"
"Jeri?" Calumon whimpered, his ears retreating back into his head.
"My digivice...my REAL digivice...where is it?" Jeri cried out.
"Right here," Calumon said, patting the white one.
"No...NO!" Jeri yelled. "The one...the one for Leomon! It's right here in my pocket...maybe it fell to the floor...oh, help me find it!"
She released Calumon and dropped to her knees, spreading her hands all over the floor.
"What's the matter, my dear?" LadyDevimon asked as she walked back into the room from attending the still unconscious Mako.
"My digivice...the one for Leomon...it's...GONE!" Jeri was on the verge of tears.
"Is it this white one?"
"No, it's not," Rika muttered, half impatient, half ashamed for starting the whole mess.
"Tamer Jeri, listen to me for a moment," LadyDevimon said, taking Jeri's face in her hands. "You have had a Digimon Partner before, yes?"
Jeri sniffled and nodded the afirmative.
"What happened to him?"
"Beelzemon killed him."
"MAKO!"
The little boy was standing in the doorway, his hair messy, his eyes shining brightly. "Well, that's what happened..."
"Mako," Renamon asked, scared, "how do you know that?"
"You learn a lot when you are biomerged," the boy muttered. Then he shuddered. "I...I was biomerged with a murderer..."
"Mako..."
"He killed Leomon..." With a strangled cry, Mako ran from the room.
Jeri's eyes trembled, and she clutched her white digivice.
"Jeri, calu..."
"I always wondered if they knew..." Renamon murmured.
"But Jeri...I'm your Partner now."
"No, you can't be!"
"Why not...don't you want me to be?"
"What if...what if you die too?"
Calumon giggled softly. "That won't happen. It can't."
"Calumon's right," Rika said. "We all have been through things that should've put us out of our misery. But we've made it through before."
"Except Leomon..."
Rika sighed in almost exhasperation and flung herself back in her chair.
"Jeri," LadyDevimon said, "let me put it to you this way. The Digital World still wants you to fight for it. For its inhabitants. By selecting Calumon for you, it has released you from the sorrow with being Leomon's Tamer. You always will be Leomon's...but now it is time for you to be Calumon's. By the way..." she commented, turning the white digivice over, "do all digivices come with flower stickers on them?"
"What?"
Jeri stared at the spot LadyDevimon pointed to, and her jaw dropped. "T-that's the sticker I put on my yellow digivice. But how...?"
"Because the yellow digivice IS the white one. As I told you, you will always be regarded as Leomon's Tamer. But now, the digivice has changed to reflect the Digimon you need to help tame now."
"Jeri..."
"Yes, Calumon?"
"Can I be your Partner now?"
Jeri smiled again, crying all over again.
"Gag..." Rika swore under her breath.
"Of course, Calumon!" She hugged the In Training Digimon to her again. "Of course."
Flawizardmon advanced on them. Gazimon kept hitting himself in the the head ("helped" by Yamaki), trying to think of a plan. Suddenly, Gazimon jumped up and whistled.
"What are you doing!" Yamaki yelled.
"You'll see." Gazimon replied with a smirk.
At that moment, a pink figure flew to them. He was a small ball-like creature with wings and a staff.
Suzie looked at her D-Power " His wame is Pwiximon. He is a pwixie type wigimon who's Pwixie Bomb can detwoy alwost anythwing in it's pwath!"
I always thought it was sort of an unwritten rule that we weren't supposed to do that. If we allow fanmades, then eventually, the field will be cluttered with Dogmons, Catmons, and Bunnymons of every shape and size, thus severely detracting from the realism (series-ism, whatever.) No offense, but I think we should stick with existing Digimon.
