well one thing is for sure and that is that no palistinian muslim born in the last 30 years is gonna change their views holding jews to be pigs and apes. bottom line is, that is the way they are raised, to break that cycle its gonna take a whole lot more than politics

i'm beginning to think that my hope for everyone to get along & finally realize we are all equals is just a stupid pipe dream. there will always be prejudice & hatred & violence no matter what.

it doesn't matter what we do. some morons who don't know how to practice logic will always ruin it.

sorry for being so negative, but i'm just really disillusioned right now.

i've decided to move to mars. spaceship construction begins tonight. let me know if you want to come w/ me. things are so far gone on this planet, the only way we'll have peace is if we start all over from scratch.

Heh, I'll lend you the engine off an F-250. That ought to help with something, lol.

But really, prejudice and hatred are all a part of human nature, unfortunately. I doubt I'll live to see a day when problems like what's happening in the Middle East are solved.

thanks for humoring me, guys, that cheered me up. :)

Guest Dark Raven
"All generalizations are false" Axis of Evil? that sounds really lame. how can he say that about all those people without even knowing about them? The way I see it is if he wants to swim with the sharks, he's gonna lose a little blood, unfortunately were the ones who have to pay for his actions.

George Bush is an idiot, him and his Poodle, Tony Blair. He should re-read his "Axis of Evil" list and add Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Egypt and Pakistan. 14 of the 19 so-called Sept 11th hijackers came from Saudi Arabia. Yet those countries are allies of the U.S.. Clearly shows the U.S. Government doesn't care about it's people. The only reason the U.S. are interested in the Middle East is because of the oil.

After all Iraqi President Saddam Hussein is a product of the U.S, they brought and risen him into power during the 70's and 80's. Where else did he get his "Weapons of mass destruction" from ? U.S. and Britain. So the U.S. and Britain should also be in the "Axis of Evil" list. Not forgetting Israel, who kill every Palestinian they see.

The US doesn't sell arms of any kind to Iraq, or any other potentially hostile country. Neither does Britain. To do so would be inviting a war, and what would that accomplish?

And do you have any scope of how many countries could be selling arms to Iraq? What about India, Pakistan, China, Libya, or any one of a bag full of other countries.

I don't mean to be offensive, but you're making yourself seem ignorant.

The U.S. sells arms to everyone. Prove to me they don't sell arms to Iraq. If the U.S, Britain and Israel ruled the world, there would be terrorism everyday, everywhere. Enough said.
U.S. and Britain supported Saddam during the Iraq - Iran war in 1980. Look it up, read some books, stop being ignorant, but obviously with the U.S. a duplicate version of Israel, but much bigger, with all the media controlled by Goldbergs, Goldsteins and Cohens. They're not exactly going to make the U.S. Government look stupid.
Vietnam, the Gulf War and now Afghanistan, bombing the crap out of those countries is inhumane, is an act of terrorism itself.
I respect your opinion, but that's what I think.

The US doesn't supply them weapons now, but during the late 80s when the Soviets occupied Afghanistan, the US supplied weapons to the mujahideen (I hope I'm spelling that correctly), or groups of rebel Afghani soldiers. It was all basically to help them get rid of the Soviets...but we'd never consider doing that again, methinks!

Yes, the US did support Saddam...at one time.

They had no idea he would become what he is today.

And yes...it doesn't matter who rules the world, if anyone. There will ALWAYS be terrorism, there's no way to prevent it.

You have to consider, in 1980, the US was still hostile towards Iran over the hostage thing, so of course they would support Iraq. That's a given, if you think about it.
bombing the crap out of those countries is inhumane
So, then...them crashing planes into buidlings full of innocents ISN'T inhuman?

It's not a question of humanity to me. It's a question of vengence. People say you can't fight violence with violence; but I've said this already in this very topic: There is a peace than can only be found on the other side of war.

You may have your opinions about teh US media. I have my own, as does everyone. But the fact of the matter is EVERY countries media has political leanings, so nothing I say is based solely upon news station propaganda.

Speaking of propaganda...yesterday I was driving through Lansing and saw a billboard that had a picture of the WTC remains after September 11, and the text next to it read something like "We'll never forget the shock..." I can't recall exactly what it said since I was trying to keep my eyes at least somewhat on my driving ^_^

Anyway, I felt that the billboard was perhaps a bit too...well, much. Blatant propaganda was the first thing that ran through my mind when I saw it.

I know it was in support of July 4th and all...but honestly...

(And about uploading your own avatar, you can do that when you have 500 posts. Look in the Intro forum for a sticky thread with more info.)

September 11th was planned by America and Israel, so Bush's popularity with the American people would soar. No evidence bin Laden was behind 9/11. Video footage about him talking about 9/11, so what? What does that prove? I can tape myself dressed up as bin Laden, talking about 9/11. Everybody was talking about 9/11 on that day.

If Bush says "This country is a terrorist country, supports terrorism, let's bomb the crap out of it, we need to protect Americans."

90% of Americans would agree with him, right?

Now, I'm annoyed. Forgive me if I come off as an ***, because I probably will.

That was insanely stupid of you.

First of all, Bush's popularity has not "soared" since 9/11. Only the sale of American flags has. He would have no reason to plot a terrorist attack on his own country, a country you aren't part of, yet you seem to know so much about.

Secondly, no. You'd be surprised how much of America doens't agree with Bush on bombing Afghanistan.

My point: I believe you're trying to a pick a fight. Unless you serioulsy believe that crap you just said, and can back it up, please, don't keep posting it. Post something useful, instead of needlessly pointing fingers.

Well said Justin. And yes, refrain from posting such idiotic garbage.

Personally, I don't give a damn about all of the "innocents" over there. The people burning American flags in the streets? You would want to spare them? I know I wouldn't.

To be honest, I think it's ridiculious. All of this humanitarian bull. I mean, we bomb their houses, and then give them food, when they made a hostile strike on US soil.

I wonder what ever happened to real patriotism where if someone got in your face and struck you, you would just kick the crap out of them...

1) I cannot ban members; only Super Moderators and Administrators can.

2) You can have your own opinion, but your previous post WAS complete and utter lies.

3) You're degrading Justin's, my, and countless others' home country. So I think he has a right to put your..."comments"...out to pasture.

i hear that. i also think its amazing that this thread hasnt ended up being closed due to all the highly sensitive argueing.
i just want every one to know that i think bush is alright. we're never gonna get a perfect president, so until we come up with a better system, i think presidents like bush are just fine. no, even better. hes great.

Yeah, there's been quite alot of arguing....
For one thing, Parabola, so far you've said alot of untrue and annoying things, and please stay on topic. Yeah I agree with you gotenks. We'll never have a perfect president, there's always gonna be mistakes, but it's just that he's been making some mistakes that could lead us in to war. bush may not be the best or worst, but the thing I'm upset about is that it's like he's actually declaring war on those countries.
