Nebula
Yes, the music is a very big part of Cowboy Bebop, I especially love the ending theme. I already can recite it in japanese and in english! I am so smart!
Impact Player
DBZ in Japan adds the music when it's nessecery, but when you watch it in the American version they add music into every scene. On Cowboy Bebop, Anime will add music when there is going to be a chase, fight scene, or intresting moments.
Kent
the songs with the choir of children are really touching. and the song that session 26 goes out on is just too hard for me to listen to. probably because of the scene leading up to it. coincedentally the scene before has my fav. song and right now im trying to find out the name of that particular song. this stuff rocks.and if anyone knows the name of that song please tell me. its a version of the real folk blues. a long one. Heaven's Cloud
Just a little bit of info, for you Yoko Kanno fans. She has composed many songs for various anime, but I think that if you enjoy the Cowboy Bebop soundtrack you will probably also enjoy the slightly more classical Escaflowne soundtrack
Spike01
Yeah, I agree with Heaven's Cloud, Escaflowne is good and the music nice :)

Yes, I have heard many songs on the Esceflone soundtracks. :smirk: But none have really compared to the Cowboy Bebop tracks. But I would still recomend them. Kent
with the recent comeback of cb to adult swim i have gotten the chance to take in the music one more time. its not just that the music is good, its more that the music is so original for an anime. and with the way the music catches the mood of each episode, and the series in general, it is truley a feat not many shows can achieve, even for normal programs that arent anime. Zero-Sama
Originally posted by BabyGirl Tank! is definitely one of the best peices of the series, but my favorite is probably Green Bird, the song that is playing as Spike is having flashbacks while falling out of the cathedral window (Session 5). I forget if it's anywhere else in the series...it very well may be :)
Yeah, Green Bird is probably the best, and most catchy song i've EVERY heard from an anime. I mean, it's almost christian gospel, and you can't get any better then that! The only songs that can possable compare to Green Bird is the Outlaw Star theme "Through The Night" and the ending and beging themes to Yu Yu Hakusho! But i Still believe Green Bird is the best song in and Anime ever, and i'm 100% serious too.

amibasuki
I haven't heard a lot of the Cowboy Bebop music other than the really popular stuff (Tank!, Green Bird, Real Folk Blues, etc.). but another song I like that hasn't been brought up (other than in discography) is Bad Dog No Biscuit. I found an MP3 of it, but the friggin' losers only ripped half of the song (so they could keep their page open, I'm sure, but still! *fake pout*). what I did hear of it was good though. I always picture thousands of little Eins running through the street whenever I listen to it, lol.
vegeta rocker
The music surpasses most well known anime. I would definetly go with Green Bird as my favorite, with Tank and the real folk blues coming in at a close second.
Axel--Ignition
My favorites are (in order): Rush Snow Lion Tank! Blue See You Space Cowboy The Egg and I I really can't stand Rain, its too classical for me... It also may get on my nerves b/c dad likes it. youta moteuchi
I definitly love "Word that we couldn't say", but just 'cause I heard it before knowing where did they use it in the anime. Then I found out that it was on Jupiter Jazz part 2 (I'm almost shure thats the name of the episode....), and I was so disapointed that the song was waisted... I barelly could hear it, and they just played a small part of it... :( I also love "Rain", and completelly love the scene that when it's played *stay completely still, thinking about the perfect background, windows, statues, pillars.....* And of course "Call me" *flies away to watch that episode again*
Marron347
i also really enjoy the music from cowboy bebop. i dont even like half of it, but the way it was put together with the show just makes me want to listen to it anyway. out of the stuff i really do like though, my favorites are "the real folk blues" and "tank". i guess "green bird" is pretty cool too. Renee
When ever I sing the opening themesong to Gundam Wing at school I always get odd looks.:D But I get odd looks anyway, so I might as well make it count, right?!:P

Syk3
This is Cowboy Bebop, lol. I like a lot of songs in Cowboy Bebop, but I suppose it isn't the songs themselves that attract me, it's the content in which they are shown. For example, I probably wouldn't like a particular song if it was in an episode I didn't like. But I do like most of Cowboy Bebop, hence, I like most of the music, especially Rain. You can't argue with how that was presented, eh? Hey, does anyone know the name of the song that plays in Knockin' on Heaven's Door, when Vincent is dragging Spike in the Monerail? I was just watching the movie, and realized that the song is very cool.

I think it is called "Powder." Kinda weird to me... It is great in the movie, the timing and all but by it self it isn't all that great.
Guest Musahi
Yoko Kanno and the Seatbelts make the best anime music ever. Anyway, to the point of this topic. I'd say my favorite song is either "Green Bird" or "The Real Folk Blues". Both are very soft and soothing, very relaxing to listen too. That is usually what I look for in music, well in anime-ish music anyway. :p
Kent
I wondered if anyone noticed the titles of the shows are at times, the names of songs from the past. Examples... "sympathy for the devil" -rolling stones "my funny valentine" - ? but its from the 30s Those are the only two I know of off the top of my head, but I would like to know if any of you know of any others. So what do you guys think?
