Gaming Im stuck on FF7!!!!

Im stuck on FF7, Im at the top of the Pillar where I have Cloud, Tifa, and Barret. This guy keeps on using some Pyramid spell that wobt allow my characters to do anything!!! And I dont know if I have anything to cure it!

Someone tell me what this guy is doing to me and what do I use to get rid of it????!!!!!

It will also happen to you when you get to Junon and Junon harbor.You get attacked by bottemswell.You have to use your magic to destroy the bubbles.


For Reno: If you are still stuck then try to paralyze Reno with the choco/mog summon.Then hit him with full force.

Note to GothMog: What are you talking about???? So what if he uses trine.I got trine once by materia keeper.Then use it against it.Don't post something else when no one is talking about it.If the post is deleted then i'lll edit this section of post out.

Thanks alot for the info guys, I would have had no idea that you had to attack your own guys just to break the barrier!!! And um....how do I summon things?

[SIZE=1]Reno isn't too hard, just break that Pyramid by attacking whoever has it around them on your party. Just try and paralyze him and use all the Magic you can.[/SIZE]

You can't summon that early in the game....you get Choco/Mog in Junon, or Chocobo Farm, so don't worry Krillen, you can't summon till later in the game.

I recommend you MindBlow him with Barret, and then try one of Red's limits...can't remember which one or what it does, but it helped me o_o

And basically, whoever gets pyramidised, hit them once, and have a Cure+All combo running there somewhere, you'll need it.

Yah I was about to say..I didnt see any option to Summon anything just yet, but thanks for the tip, it was easy to beat him. Wow, I hear the first disc is a really long one, I looked on a Strategy guide because I was stuck, and it went all they up to Part 26!!!!

To answer your question Shadow, you have to be attacked in order for your limit bar to be raised. So the more you are attacked, the faster it goes up, and the more powerful attack, the more your bar raises.

Why would you need to use mindblow on Reno? He doesn't use magic. Just cure after his electro-mag attacks and attack whoever's trapped in the pyramid.

As for Wutai and the Pogoda, just try equipping her w/ an enemy skill materia (for big guard, u can learn that by manipulating beach plugs on the beach near costa del sol and having them use it on you), and regen if you have it, counterattack helps, otherwise it's just using strong moves like deathblows and summons. If trine is really beating the crap out of you, put on elemental+lightning in your armor or something.

To move on to the next limit break, you need to kill 80 enemies, to get the 2nd limit break of a level, you need to use the first one 8 times. So after you use braver 8 times you learn cross-slash, and after killing 80 enemies you learn blade beam, use blade beam 8 times and you learn Climhazzard, etc. Once you learn all of the lv1-3 limit breaks, you just use the lv4 limit break item and you'll learn it. Sometimes you kill 80 enemies before learning the 2nd so you might have to go back if you want the lv4.

Leviathan isn't really that good a summon, and when you get to it there's no chance of being able to teach Yuffie her limit break anyway. Unless you've wasted a lot of time. If you hold off until she has her other limit breaks, and the Pagoda is of use, than it's absolutely easy. Just equip two times cut, and added status linked with Contain. Takes basically everything out. [/font][/color]

Oh ok I know what you meant by Limit Levels now, Yah I was wondering about that too, I have Braver and Cross-Slash, I dont think ive used Braver 8 times though....or have I?

[b]The best way to get limits up quick is to let yourself be 'Fury'ed.
It's supposed to knock down your Hit Rate too, but I still rarely miss.
If you wanna do it yourself, use a 'Hyper' (or whatever it is that cures sadness) when you're at a normal status :)

[size=1]EDIT: I meant use hypers on all your chosen characters, and then battle a fairly-strong-for-your-standards-monster and weaken quite a bit. Then just keep curing yourself, and casting your limits, and curing the monster and yourself.

Cloud finally learned Blade Beam and Tifa just learned Water Kick. The problem is that the enemy always misses when they try to attack me, so I can't get my limit meter up.

Fury is a great way to build up your limit meter. What I do is go to the forest outside Mideel and manipulate those green......grasshopper type things (kill the rest first). Then I have them attack my guys over and over to build their limit meter =P. They're not that strong (around 300 a hit), but you can't exactly maniupulate the really strong guys you know. Another fast, but risky, place to build up limit meters is in the sunken ship Gelnika. In the room right by the save point you'll fight Unknowns, they're tough bastards and their moves will fill your limits fast. If you're at a low level you'll probably just end up getting killed though. They give nice exp and can be morphed into the different sources if you're up for a challenge tho.

but i cant get to limit lvl 3 so i can add lvl4
and cant u only get fury on monsters?

Anyone wonna know how to get a lot fo cash in a simple way?

master as many ALLs as you can and sell them
you get about
1200000 for one or something like that

[color=indigo]I believe you get 1,400,000 Gil for selling a mastered All Materia. I mastered 8 All Materia and sold them to pay for all the Sylkis Greens that I fed to my Chocobos when I was breeding them. I think I still have a few million Gil left over, lol.

And a good way to get your limit up fast, if the character has a level that's a multiple of four, is to go to the area around the Chocobo Ranch and let the monsters use Lv4 Suicide on you. If you can survive it (it helps to have a couple high level HP Plus Materia, so you'll have 9999 HP), your Limit Meter will jump up quite a bit.[/color]

I've caught some chocobos but Choco Billy won't let me move them to my stables because it says they don't look good. What am I supposed to do?

You can put any chocobos, no matter how crappy, into your stables. Just choose to move chocobos and then when it shows the chocobo walking or running by itself, you hit whatever button you have as Select and you can either release it or move it into the stable, assuming you have an empty one. Mastering All materias IS a good source of $$, but really now are you going to spend all that time to master them? Even w/ the apocalypse and Scimitar, yeesh just fighting in battles will get you enough $$ for greens. Sylkis greens aren't always the best to feed your chocobos either, they max out their stamina yes but other greens will increase your speed more.
