RPG Lord of The Rings:The New Evil

[Muse]

[I]Lauren raised her hand,As did the rest of the Second Fellowship.[/I]
[B]Lauren:[/B]We have been there,We finally defeated Sauron in the pit of Mount Doom.
[B]Iondarc:[/B]Okay then,Its to the north of us now,so lets go.
[I]All nodded and they set out once again,To the pit of Mount Doom,Where Bahaumet waited...[/I]

[Boba Fett]

The pit wasn't far; after Sauron had been defeated a few brave farmers had migrated here, taking advantage of the free land. But now it seemed as if they had disappeared.

At least the road was still in reasonably good shape. The fellowship climbed higher and higher, towards the pit.

As they climbed it grew drastically colder, so cold that snow had begun to fall.

Abob: "I don't remember snow..."

Lalaith: "Neither do I. Iondarc, where is Bahamut, is he still at the pit?"

Iondarc stopped walking and closed his eyes for a few seconds.

Iondarc: "Yes, I think so."

The fellowship continued to climb, and several hours later they reached the giant iron gates that lead into the pit.

Abob: "Look! The rope!"

They looked at the left door, to find that a piece of rope was tied around the door handle, the same rope the original fellowship had used to open the door many years ago.

Then, without a word, everyone walked to the rope, grasped a part of it, and pulled....

[Corey]

Bahamut stepped out of the portal in a controlled rage. He was eternally angry at me for beating him in my mind and sending the fellowship to Mordor. Shortly after he had regained control of my body he opened a portal to his domain. When he stepped out the first thing I had noticed was that there was snow. It was cold as well. He truged up the path leading to Mt. Doom complaining silently of magical barriers that never went down. It seemed that Sauron had created a barrier here making it impossible for anyone to transport in.
He got to the gate and leaped over it, leaving it closed. When he got to the crater he looked down to the bottom. It was solid. All of the lava was solid stone. He jumped down and felt the surface. It wasn't even vaugly warm. An annoyed smile crept across my lips.
[b]Bahamut-[/b] [font=arial]"I leave this place for no more than a day and HE FREEZES IT!"[/font] He screamed and began to tear apart the rock. He slammed his fists down and created a huge fissure. Deep below it he saw a glimmering point of light. He breathed a sigh of relief, and jumped down. The wind rushed by as a creaking sound filled the air. He snapped up my head and saw the crack sealing itself. My body it solid ground after what seemed to be forever. He looked around, letting me take in the sight.
We were in a great underground dwelling. The walls seemed to be made of stone, but I quickly realized that it must have been lava at one point. Lava that was held back by a barrier. The only thing in the place was a pillar. It rose about four feet off of the ground. He stepped up to it. I felt a growing fear inside of him. His mental barrier went down. I saw all of his thoughts. I saw all of his doings. I saw all of his memories. One tihng stood above all of the rest. He had remade the ring... He gathered the metal that had been melted in the lava and remade the ring. The only thing was is that he brought something back with it. He brought back the Void. The Void is the source of all evil. It is a black force that cannot be stopped. It feeds on the violent thoughts and the ripped souls of the living. The Void is a bodiless entity that never lives, never dies, it simply exists.
[b]Bahamut-[/b] [font=arial]"My... My precious..." He was staring fixatedly on the ring.[/font]
[b]Ryan-[/b] 'BAHAMUT! Snap out of it!' He started and looked around confused. 'I said snap out of it!'
[b]Bahamut-[/b] [font=arial]"Don't tell me what to do. I was in complete control."[/font]
[b]Ryan-[/b] 'My ***. You were about three second away from slipping that thing onto your finger.' He walked into a hidden room. A body was lying there. It was just like a mans body but it was charred and cracked. It looked as if it had been burned and then reanimated. A deep red light pulsed below the cracks.
[b]Bahamut-[/b] [font=arial]"It's time for me to return to my body now. You've been a wonderful host but I'm afraid I have to go now."[/font] My body started convusing. Black liquid leaked from all of the openings of my body. It pooled on the floor and traveled up to the black thing on the bed. The oil-like liquid coverd it and sank in. The things chest rose and fell, and then it sat up. I fell to the floor, weak from having the seizure. He picked me up by my hair and thew me against a wall. I fell to the floor, cradling my left arm. He jerked my head to face him, and shoved open my eyelids. [font=arial]"Welcome to hell."[/font] He smiled and drew back his black lips, exposing hundreds of white daggerlike teeth. He picked me up again and hit me in the face. I felt my jaw break, and my left face crumble. Blood suddenly clouded my vision. He contiued beating me untill I was within an inch of unconciousness, then dragged me over to the ring. He picked it up with a shaing hand and shoved it onto my finger.
My eyes snapped open as a million different images bombarded my mind. People dead, burned alive. People imapaled in the most horific way possible. People hung, their limbs chopped off. Bodies were strewn everywhere as carelessly as rag dolls. A child stood there looking up to something. I saw a sword raised. I screamed for it to stop. The sword came down, splitting the childs body in half. Blood flew everywhere. Bits of bone littered the ground. The ring was yanked off of my finger and replaced on the pillar. I sat there on the ground blubbering and crying. Bahamut laughed.
[b]Bahamut-[/b] [font=arial]"Now you will pose no more threat to me. Your mind is destroyed, thanks to The Void."[/font] He waved his hand and I dissapeared. I reappeared down right outside of the gates.

[Deedlit]

[color=green][i]Samantha heard a noise behind her as she turned around to see Ryan on the grass.[/i]

Samantha-Ryan! Wait up everyone, he's right here!

[i]The group stopped suddenly and huddled around Ryan who was unconcious.[/i]

Iondarc-I can feel that the evil has left him....

Lauren-That's a relief.

Iondarc-....but he will not be his normal self ever again.

Ellsa-But what happened to him?

Iondarc-I don't know. He will have to tell us when he wakes up.

Lalaith-I hope he wakes up soon. Bahamut is still inside Mt. Doom.[/color]

[Sui Generis]

Lalaith: [i]Lalaith looked at Ryan, with a wondering gaze. Trying to piece together questions that had formed in his mind all through this trip.[/i] "I think we need to get him to the elves."

Iondarc: "What do you mean."

Lalaith: "He may not be mentally healthy for a day or years. We do not know. I suggest the elves watch after him, just in-case if we fail, Bahamut can not use him as a puppet."

Abob: "I agree but wouldn't that be taking time we need."

Lalaith: "As I see it, we have enough time to be cautiouse in this matter. We will suffer much more if we do not help him, and use all caution. The question is, who will go to Mirkwood with Ryan?"

[Muse]

[B]Indrid:[/B]I will!
[B]Lauren:[/B]Are you sure...?
[B]Indrid:[/B]Of course,I just need Iondarc to perform a floating spell on Ryan,It will go much faster then if My Goat carries him
[I]The others nodded and alowed Iondarc to Perform the Levitating spell.Ryan slowly lifted of the ground and next to Indrid.[/I]
[B]Lalaith:[/B]Please be carefull,Indrid.
[I]Indrid Nodded and set off down to Mirkwood,Ryan Floating next to him hauntingly.[/I]
[B]Lauren:[/B]What do you guys say we go do something now?
[I]The others nodded and went back to their position at the Ropes.After a while of Tugging,The gigantic Door Opened Slowly.[/I]
[B]Abob:[/B]Here we go...

OOC: I am so glad this came back. I was afraid I killed it...

Who was I? What was I? What was my role? I had no idea. My consciousness floated in the black void. However... I didn't know what I was. I had no form. I was simply an opaque sphere. I had no control of where I was going, I simply floated. Who was I: I was nothing. What was I: It didn't matter. What was my role: I had none... But... That last one was not true. I did have a role. I did have a purpose... But what was it. I had to reconsturct my life.
Far in the distance there was a small light. I willed myself toward it. I stopped directly in front of it through no force exerted by me. It was a pane of glass. Etched on it was the word "Learn". The etching faded and was replaced by images.
I was looking through someones eyes... MY eyes. I was very small. I looked up at people. MY parents. They seemed as tall as redwoods. The looked at me adoringly and lifted me into the air. My fathers mustache tickled my face.
The sphere changed shape into a cube. Now I had some definition.
The screen flashed. I was looking through my eyes again. I was slightly taller, up to my parents chests. I was hugging them. I didn't want them to go. They were leaving me. They were leaving me.... In the hands of my new master.
Now I was a fetus. I was growing. I was being defined.

Lalaith: "I'll go in first." [i]Lalaith hesitated for a second.[/i]

Abob: "Becareful we don't know whats in there."

[i]Lalaith nodded and then stepped in. He clenched his sword and looked around. His saw no signs of any life what so ever. Lalaith looked back at the others and motioned them to follow.[/i]

Lalaith: "It seems safe"

[i]Just as Lalaith said that two arrows flew and hit Lalaith sending him back.[/i]

Lauren: "LALAITH!!!!!!"

[i]Arrows began to rain down on the entrance. Looking at his wounded friend Abob took a deap breath.[/i]

Abob: "I can't let him die."

[i]Abob then ran in and grabbed his wounded friend and dragged him out of the door. As they got out of the door an arrow struck Abob in the leg. Seeing the arrow hit Abob, lalaith wreathed in pain. Then realized something.[/i]

Lalaith: "Close the door! We are sitting ducks right now!"

[i]After speaking Lalaith passed out cold from the pain.[/i]

[Muse]

[I]Lauren quickly Fired to Arrows into a skull of an Orc that was charging at the Fellowship.Lauren and the others closed the door,then turned back to the Wounded Abob and the Unconsious Lalaith.[/I]
[B]Iondarc:[/B]What do we do!THere must be thousands of Orcs in that place!
[I]Lauren glanced down to LAlaith and backto the doors.[/I]
[B]Lauren:[/B]Maybe..Maybe we can sneek in,Orcs arent that brght,we could sneek past them.
[B]Abob:[/B]But how could we do that when we open the door?They'd notice us then!
[B]Lauren:[/B]Oh..Right.there might be another way in,tho...

[Schrat]

[I] Iondarc steped forward closier to the door.

Iondarc: Lauren, what do you suggest?

Lauren: Before we do anything hasty, we need to prepare ourselves.

Iondarc: Correct, a battle is ahead. Weather we sneak past these Orcs or not, we will find danger here in the dark land of Mordor.

Abob: Lalaith must join us, He may not be able to fight but he must come.

Iondarc: You will aid him?

Abob noods.

Iondarc: So Lauren, what do you suggest?

OOC: Short pathetic post I know..

[i]As Lauren sat deap in thought about what to do, the others waited patiently. Abob with his leg wrapped kept watch making sure no orcs came around. Lalaith moaned the opened one eye, then the other. Abob heard lalaith and turned around to see him waking up.[/i]

Abob: "Lauren, he finally has awakened."

[i]Lauren nodded and came over to Lalaith.[/i]

Lauren: "Are you ok"

Lalaith: "Well I could be better"

[i]Lalaith forced a smile then sat up. He then stood up.[/i]

Lalaith: "So whats the plan?"

I opened my eyes for a moment. Just long enough to see where I was, not that it mattered. I still did not understand.
[b]Indrid[/b]- "Don't worry. The Elves and my goat will protect you." I shut my eyes and was once again sitting in the dark room in front of the galss.
I sat there, naked and small. I could not have been more than six years of age. My childhood passed easily after the viewing of my parents leaving me. After that there had been nothing but rigorous training and studies. When the images slowed again I was about 18. My master was yelling at me. In a fit of rage I had killed another student. I was an inch away from firing on my master. He threw me against the wall with magic and pinned me there. There were few times during my training that I had ever been actualy afraid of my master, this was one of them. His eyes were like cold bits of flint. They sparked with each word he uttered. [b]Unets-[/b] "If you ever cross me again [i]boy[/i] I will take off you hand and feed it to the orcs." I nodded, shaking slightly. There hadn't been a bit of dishonesty in his voice.
I looked down at myself again. I was now the age I was during the image, 18. My shoulders had broadened, my body had grown much. I had a wealth of knowledge to sort through. Years of my life flowed from locked parts of my mind. I turned my attention back to the glass.
My age was now 20. I was being given my staff, a symbol that I had passed the training of a wizard. I was now a wizard. It was the happiest day of my life. I hugged my master and was pushed away. I had embarrassed him. I walked down the stairs to be greeted by my companion of the time. We kissed deeply and went back to her current home.
I had grown again, scars had sprung up over my skin. Burn marks, healed cuts, missing chunks of skin that had healed. I had been busy those last two years. The glass flickered again.
I saw the start of our adventure. Me contacting my master, traveling to Mythanmyre, and meeting the new fellowship. I saw the ship that was upturned by the serphant. I saw myself being possesed. I saw myself being destroyed by The Void. I understood. I knew my purpose. My purpose was to...
[b]Ryan-[/b] "WARN THEM!! I MUST WARN THEM!!" The words screamed from my mouth. Indrid, who was floating me back to the Elves, fell on the ground gripping his chest. I jumped up, breaking the spell and looked at Indrid. "How long have we been traveling?"
[b]Indrid-[/b] "Less than two hours." Indrid looked surprised and scared. This was good. They could still be alive. I grabbed Indrid hand and teleported the both of us back to the gates of Mt. Doom.

[color=green]ooc: here's another short one.

IC: [i]Samantha's keen ears picked up a high-pitched "hum" in the air as she turned around to see Ryan and Indrid suddenly appeared.[/i]

Samantha-Indrid! Ryan! What are you doing here? You were supposed to take Ryan to Mirkwood.

Indrid-I was but then my goat went on a rampage and we ended up here.

Ryan-I'm alright now. I know what I have to do.

[b]Ryan-[/b] "I have to warn you all."
[b]Abob-[/b] "Warn us of what?"
[b]Ryan-[/b] "I have to warn you of Bahamut... and what's behind him."
[b]Lauren-[/b] "What? What do you mean 'behind him'?" I held a hand to my forehead.
[b]Ryan-[/b] "I'm not quite sure yet. Things are still a little cloudy. But I do know that Bahamut is not completely behind this. Something is influencing him." I rubbed my temples and tried to clear my mind. I shook my head. "I... I can't remember..."
[b]Lauren-[/b] "It's ok. Can you help us? Are you strong enought to fight?" I looked up and gave her a smile.
[b]Ryan-[/b] "Oh yes. I am completely ready to fight for what he did to me." We turned toward the entrace again, hearing a noise, and saw orcs start to rush out of it.

[Boba Fett]

[COLOR=green]OOC: It's been a long time since I posted here, but I'm back once and for all now.

IC:

Abob: "We have incoming!"

[I]Twenty mutated Orcs burst through the door and into the room, each carrying a deadly battle axe.[/I]

Abob pulls out his bow and notches it and begins to fire arrow after arrow at the Orcs, who have now seen the fellowship, and are charging towards them.

Lalaith: "What are these things, they take forever to die!"

[I]A Mutated Orc is at the front of its fellows, twelve arrows sticking out of its blood drenched hide.[/I]

Abob fires his last arrow into one of the charging Orcs, which by now are nearly on top of them.

Abob pulls out his long knife, to find that the blade has changed into a black liquid, being held in the shape of a blade by unknown powers...[/COLOR]

OOC: Sweet SassyMolassy it's good to be back. This is the first topic I've posted in for amost a whole month!

I grabbed my staff tightly. Abob was out of arrows, and only one had went down. Bahamut had left me with a tingling urge to fight. Maybe it's what he subjected me to that put it in my head. I growled and Abob turned around, brandishing his black dagger at me. He realized it was me and turned around, but not all the way. They still didn't completely trust me. I would show them. I stepped out in front of the group and swung my staff as hard as I could at the closest MutieOrc. He was torn in half by an unseen force. Five others, that were in it's wake, lost limbs.
[b]Lauren:[/b] "Ryan... What was that?" I didn't hear. All I saw was the Orcs. I swung and took out three more. Blood started leaking out of my left ear. Lauren laid a hand on my shoulder. I growled menacingly at her and contiued to fight the Orcs.

[Sui Generis]

OOC: Dear god its great to be back! Yes thats right Lalaith is back in town!!

Lalaith: [i] Ducked as the orc swung his axe, lalaith grabbed his sword and rolled. Popping up he began to go hand-to-hand combat against the mutated orc. Ducking again he looks aroudn to make sure the fellowship is fine.[/i] "Man, these guys are fast!" [i] Parrying the orcs blow he slashed the orc in the arm and then kicked the orc in the stomach.[/i] "Ha! They are still stupid!" [i]After saying that his chest was sliced by the orc. Cringing he let the blood flow freely as he faught the orc harder and faster.[/i] "Well ok I was wrong, they're alittle smarter than I thought!" [i]Ducking he sent the orc off balance and started slashing furiously at the orc hitting his arms and chest. Lalaith kept slashing untill the orc finally fell down dead. Panting he looked at the others.[/i]

[i]Samantha swiftly drew her Elven sword, and the light blue flame shone all around her. An Orc rushed at her with it's battle axe high above its head, ready to bring it down upon hers. She nimbly dodged to one side as the axe came down swiftly to where she had stood just a moment before, with the axe stuck into the ground.[/i]

Samantha-They've gotten so fast!

[i]Samantha tried to rush at the Orc since it couldn't remove its weapon from the earth, but she found that the end of her cape was caught under the axe. She tugged at it to try to get free, but the Orc then punched her in the jaw. Samantha fell back from the tremendous blow.[/i]

Samantha-They're alot stronger, too!

[i]Samantha quickly leapt to her feet and cut off the edge of the cape that was trapped so that she could move once more. She slashed at the Orc with her sword as the Orc parried it with its arm, which was cut off in the process. She continued the onslaught until the Orc finally collasped and died.[/i][/color]

[Boba Fett]

[COLOR=green]Abob looked down at his sword, a strange look on his face.

[I]He knew the sword was virtually indestructible, and there was only one way to destroy it. Long ago Sauron had forged these swords in the fires of Mt. Doom to give his wraiths unmatchable weapons. He never completely trusted anyone though, and put a special spell onto each sword to prevent that person from harming the user of the one ring (who he presumed to be himself).[/I]

This could mean only one thing, since the ring had been destroyed, someone must have either remolded it, or found a source of even greater evil.

Abob: "We must hurry and defeat these Orcs; they may be here only to stall us until their master arrives."

Lalaith: "Defeat these things quickly? Ha, good one."

Abob fended off an Orc with his now useless sword, praying it wouldn't figure out his blade was useless. With his spare hand he searched frantically through his potion bag, trying to find anything that could help them... [/COLOR]

[Schrat]

OMG it feels so good to be back....

Iondarc uses his staff to throw a few orcs into a pile of earth. He turns to Abob who is on the ground looking threw his potion bag. As an Orc comes running for him. Iondarc quickly stops him in his tracks

" Back you Orc!"

He gets infront of Abob and defeats the fowl demon. He leans down over abob

" Watch yourself"

[Sui Generis]

Lalaith: [i]Sees Abob searching through his bag.[/i]

"Forget potions take this"

[i]Throws his sword to Abob and draws his double daggers. He then attacks a new orc slashing quickly and circling around the orc.[/i]

"I think I've figured out how to beat them! Confuse them, run around them!"

[i]Fighting he hears something behind him, and turns around just in time to see a huge orc bearing down on him. Putting up his daggers he trys to block the orc, but then the other orc swings his arm and throws Lalaith to the side. Lalaith grunts and gets up trying to keep the orcs distracted from the rest of the fellowship. Swinging his daggers quickly he trys fighting both of them. He gets hit again by the orcs and falls down, getting up slowly he grunts and attacks them again. This time the orcs both swing their axes, side stepping Lalaith dodges them but is hit by the side of the axe sending him flying once more. Lalaith stumbles around trying to concentrate. The orcs look at eachother and grin, holding their axes they begin to bear down on the dazed Lalaith.[/i]


Abob: [i]Turns in time to see Lalaith fly across the ground and sees the orcs come at Lalaith. Holding Lalaith's elven sword he charges at the orcs![/i]

"Hang in there buddy!"

[Schrat]

"Lalaith!"

Iondarc spins around and a bolt of white lighting goes flying threw the lagest Orc, he stumbles but does not fall. The wizard then runs towards the Orc. He sprints to his back and stabs him with the end of his staff. Blood poors out but this only angers the Orc more. He turns and looks down apon the wizard.

" Begon you rechad Spirit"

He pulls his Staff up and the clear gem ontop begins to glow. While the orc looks down at the gem he quickly move shis eyes to the eyes of Iondarc, which are glowing of pure white.

In a matter of seconds Iondarc seems to explode and every orc begins to stumble, some even die....

As the pure white light clears only one man is seen Iondarc, who is on the floor unconcious...

[Corey]

[b]Ryan:[/b] "Are they gone?" I said distractedly. The blood was now pouring from my ear. I was mopping it up messily and hoping the flow would stop, or at least slow. I turned around holding a rag to my head. "Iondarc!" He was laying on the ground. I stumbled, uneasily, over to him and kneeled down. His eyes were closed and his breathing deep. I smiles and stood up.
[b]Abob:[/b] "Is he ok?"
[b]Ryan:[/b] "Yes. He's just asleep. A very deep sleep, may I add." Everyone looked relieved. I cast a brief levitation spell and Iondarc floated above the ground. "Abob, may I have a word with you? Over here." I walked over to a small outcropping of rocks and motioned for him to follow. He walked over, cautiously. I tossed the rag aside, my bleeding stopped.
[b]Abob:[/b] "Yes?" I managed a weak smile and looked at him.
[b]Ryan:[/b] "Where did you get that weapon? I thought they had all been acounted for by the Elves."

[Boba Fett]

[COLOR=green]Abob: "You mean my dagger?" *Holds up his carved down Mordor blade*

Ryan: "Yeah."

Abob: "It?s a long story. I got it by killing the head of an Orc clan in single combat. I carved it down and have carried it ever since."

Ryan: "Why don?t the Elves know about it?"

Abob: "Well, they would probably want to destroy it, and it is an extremely useful weapon to me, most of the time?"

Ryan: "But the Elves would have been able to sense that your sword was possessed by evil, why haven?t they?"

Abob: "It?s the sheath; its Elven made and tends to counteract the evil."

Ryan: "I still think you should get ri-"

Abob: "I don?t have time for this. Maybe later."

[I]Abob walks back to the others.[/I]

Abob: "Lalaith, Lauren, you two ok?"

Lalaith: "I'm alright, where's Samantha?"

Samantha: "Right here and I'm fine."

Abob: "Alright. Someone carry Inodarc. Let's hurry up and find Bahamut, wherever he is?"[/COLOR]

OOC:Duo,Your PM boxie is full.

[I]Lauren pulled her Long,Silver Elvin Blade out of a Perticulary Nasty "Mutated"Type Orc,

'I'm Fine.I've never seen Such Orcs....Bahumet Must be keeping them as his sort of"Secret Service" or something'

Lalaith nodded,

'Yes...I agree.BUt know what do we do?Go in,Or do something to get ourselves Refreshed and Healed?'

Lauren Nodded...

'indeed a hard question,We shall have a vote...'[/I]
