The world has grown drunk on its own greed, superpowers constantly drain their countries for money for biological weapons. The once blue and green planet is now a mess of brown and grey. The people of the world have become like their leaders, thriving on others losses.

Distraught and offended at the state of the world that they have protected for a millennia, the land spirits have withdrawn their protection. In effect, the world?s little sustenance has died, and with it the people on it. The orcs, formorians and other suppressed evils are free once more, destroying everything in their path.

The year is 3030. . .but that is unknown. .

The land spirits, pleased that the world is cleansed, wondering at the greenness that is earth again, have set up their protection again. But their is a problem. The monsters that were freed, will not return. The spirits try in vain, but nothing will help. Instead they focus on the new bud of human life, human life that knows not of the evils of ages past, human life that knows not of its ancient technology. The spirits join and bring magic back to their world, freeing more of the worlds mythological past.

Human life has mastered the magic of the spirits, building a foothold against the age old bane of existence. But they are still harried by the now allied assault of the orcs and formorians, more is needed. The spirits, seeing this, still guilty of their mistakes, vote upon submitting six of their elect few to be born into the human world. Each will have their own select powerful magic, superior to that of the humans and of the orcs.

You are one of the mighty six that live in the land of the humans. You have no recollection of your past, but you are filled with dreams of it in the night. The kings of the humans are planning for an attack on the orcs forts, behind enemy lines and onward to their infernal machine that gives them power over them.

Strangely enough, the land spirits have been deified, at last giving them a proper link to the human race. They have also marked the six out from the population, who must alone take this quest. Each is marked with a special birth mark, bearing their afore chosen call of magic.

These are the ones that must go. These are the ones that must save the shattered world[/color]

Bio: (optional) Isthanae has grown up in his city all his life he has a strong desire to leave, but something always mysteriously prevents him from doing so. His parents own the local smithy and medical sanctum, helping him strengthen his magical and warrior wishes. He has already been selected and found by the oracles. [/color]

Name: Alriy Geosion

Age: 20 of course.

Birthmark-Alriy was gifted with a (literally)sandy blond patch of skin on his neck and collarbone. The birthmark a clear symbol of the powers of earth.

Bio-Alriy was actually Isthanae's Cousin, They had grown up togather because their fathers were brothers. Alriy's father had been a Miner even before they boys birth. Even as Alriy was very young he had an affinity for earth and rock, his father frequently took him on mining trips so that he could shape the rock out of the way and sift out the pure ore from the normal stone. Many years of work in the mines had given him equal strength and diversity between magical and physical power.

Appearance- Standing at a tall six feet and seven inches(slightly slouching), and weighing at about two hundred severnty-two pounds He is a small giant of a man, quite muscular as well from working in the mines for so long. He hair and eyes are both the color of freshly turned soil; His skin has a light tan.

Name- Charlie Fortune (duh!)

Age- 20

Birthmark- Charlie has a mark of a pair of wings on the back of each hand. (Air)

Bio- Charlie was born into a very religious family. By tradition, each firstborn of the family was supposed to become a priest as soon as they were 18 years old. To everyone's huge dissapointment, Charlie refused, feeling that he would never bne happy with this life. Shortly after that, he became a mercenary, taking various types of jobs for food and a place to stay.

2 years passed, years that slowly took him to the City. There, he was noticed by the Oracles.

Birthmark: Mara's mark resembles that of a drop of water, splattered daintily in her palm.


Bio:Mara has lived in solitude all her life. She had lived with her parents, but they had died in the forest long ago. Ever since they had passed, Mara wondered the land, and at age seventeen, arrived at a huge city. Even to this day she does not know it's name. All she knows is that, one night, she was plucked aside and told that the Oracles had their eyes on her. She knows not who the source was.

Appearnce: Mara is about 5'4 and is very pale and light. She wears a cape of silk, which is an off-white. Underneath, a elaborate silver dress flows, giving the impression of swirling water. She has curly raven hair, that is tied into a loose ponytail. She has dark jade green eyes. She wears a thin gold anklet above her light silver sandels.

Name: Kain

Age: 20

Birthmark: Kain has a scar on his chest that has flames around.(fire)

Bio: When he was a child he was always interested with fire.Most of the people he knew thought of him as strange.When he was 10 he went out to live by himself.Everything was fine until Orcs destroyed the home he had made.When he came back the orcs were still there.He was angered and destroyed with his magic.But one lived and gave him the scar on his chest with the sword he now posseses.He has been selected and found by the oracles.


Appearance: Red spikey hair,red and blue eyes(red only appears when he uses magic),long black pants,red shirt,and a sword on his back that has the element fire.

Birthmark: There Is A Small Tear Shaped Birthmark on his Left Upper Arm~ [Water]

Bio: Born Next To The Sea, Lateralus Was Sent Into A Life Of Adventure. His Parents And Him Traveled Through Many Lands, Meeting Friend and A Few Foes, Some of Which They Barely Survived. They Had Heard Of Something About A City In The Lands To The East, And It Had Awoken Their Spirit of Adventure Twofold... In The Middle Of A Forest, A Torrential Downpour Occured, And It Curtailed Out Adventure For That Day. A Large Devilish Beast Roze Out Of A Deep Pit Of Mud, And Took Them By Suprise. As His Father and Mother Lifted Their Swords, It Was Over. One Swift Movement Of His Mighty Hand, And Their Bodies Were Torn In Two Completely, The Blood Splattering Lateralus' Clothes... The Demon Looked At Him, And Smiled A Sweet Smile, That Made The Hairs On The Back Of His Neck Raise... Then Everything Went Black For Him, In The Midst Of A Whirlpool Of Pain and Confusion From Hearing The Beast Scream As Well. A Family Traveling to the Large City, Had To Camp In The Midst Of The Storm. They Noticed A Trail Of Blood, And Followed It To Where Lateralus Was... With A Large Best, His Body Ripped Apart, Resting In A Large Pool Of Water, With Several Melting Ice Shards Around It... He Awoke In A Strange Room, With Several Strangers Around Him Who Had Mysterious Tone To Their Voice... They Said Something About A BirthMark.. And That They Had Theirs Eyes Out For One That Had This Sort Of Birthmark Like The One On My Left Arm... And Thus, Another Chapter Seems To Be Opening In His Story.

Appearance: Clothes/Jewelry - He Is Extremely Casual In His Dressing Nature, Wearing Blue Jean Like Pants And A Sleeveless Black Tshirt Usually. He Wears A Silver Necklace Around His Neck, Along With A Silver Ring On His Middle Finger.

Body- He Is Large [6'6" ish Range] And Muscular. His Hair Is Dark Blue, And Semi Long, Hanging Over His Ears And Eyes At Times. Eyes Are Colored Aqua, And His Eyes Glow Completely Dark Blue At Times Of Deep Emotionally/Pyschial Tramua.[/color]

However, one day when he was about 18, his house and the surrounding part of the city was set alight. Instinctively, he was somehow able to control the fire, and contain it so others were able to extinguish. From then on, he continued to train in physical forms of defense and offense, but also delved further into ability with magic. He has recently been selected and found by the oracles.

[B]Appearance:[/B] Raynor is about 6'2", with short, spiked up black hair, slightly shaded pale red. He has a medium build and his red are bluish/redish, though they turn completely red when he is either using magic or in deep anger.

He usually wears a dark cloak, with a black t-shirt and pants underneath. He also wears fingerless gloves and black leather boots.

Oh, and this isn't anything against you Safer Cloud, but in an IC sense, yes, someone's history may be unknown, but in an OCC sense, it should still be known. And this of course, is OCC. Even if you don't want to give away too much, it's still sometimes good to give a glimpse of what the character's history is like, so us others have an idea of how the character may act and ect.

Name: Katanga Selwyn (once again, Kat comes back to terrorize you all!)

Age: 20 (Geez.)

Birthmark: At first look, there appears to be no birthmark, but upon closer inspection, there resembles something to the extent of a small, silvery streak running from the center of her forehead to her right ear, symbolizing the element of air.

Bio: Katanga, born and raised under the watchful eye of her scientific parents, never knew she was special in any way. She had occasional "accidents" but there was nothing serious, until the day when her parents were killed at the hands of mysterious strangers. Kat then found she could harvest the powers of what her devout parents called "Father Sky" and wreak havoc on the guilty . . . and the innocent. After accidentally destroying an entire city filled with civilians in a fit of rage, Kat fled, and sought asylum in the large city that would be her home, then retreated into the spiritual world to find who she really was. Even though Kat could be entirely clueless at times, it was only wit and a sense of charm that brought Katanga into the living world once again. She lives because she can, and therefore is widely known throughout the city for being mischievous. Her parents (foster) are both skilled healers, although her father travels.

Katanga has been found, but is not fully aware of what she must do.

Name: Anade

Age: 20 (Well, duh)

Birthmark: Water. On her left hand palm she has a water droplet.

Bio: She's known that she was powerful from the time she was five; she stopped a fire in her village, though no-body knew it was her. When she was 7, Anade went out into the ocean and didn't come back for 3 day, causing her mother to become hysterical. After that, several more 'incedents of regret' have occured. Anade lived in a small village until she was eighteen. She left to try to escape her mother's reputation; that of the town whore. Her father is unknown. She has lived in this city for almost a year and a half, and is known for kindess, decency and decorum. But when she was informed the had oracles found her, a sudden downpour started, which could have turned into a flood, if she hadn't controlled her temper.

Appearance: Anade looks a lot like her mother. She has silvery-blonde hair and aqua-marine eyes. She is 5'7. She remains calm most of the time, but she has worked hard in creating a reputation of decency and decorum. She knows, however, that, just like the sea, when her anger breaks, it comes crashing down and knocks things down.
Anade usually wears an ankle length dress with a split up the side, and breeches underneath. She keeps her hair in a ponytail, and only lets it out to swim and wash it.

Name: Andal

Age: 20

Birthmark: At the base of the back of his neck two small cuts that cross each other in the form of an x, at the centre there is always a small patch of thick dark red blood. (Fire)

Bio: The city has had its toll on Andal. His fire skills have made him an outcast and hated by the normal village folk. His parents? riches did nothing to help his position either.

He has heard whispers about the oracles searching for the chosen few and has being seeking them, not knowing weather he would be good enough to fight for his king and country.

Appearance: Andal is roughly 6'1 with black hair and black eyes, he wears a full length black leather coat which was given as a gift at his birth and has majikally resized its self as he has grown. He keeps to himself and despises people who say things twice; this has caused him trouble in his past.

Bio- Kei for some reason, loved being by water. She didn't realise how powerful she really was until she had a dream about her past, then a dream about the future. She went out one day and tested it, just as she had seen it in her dream, and it worked. A power she had never known of had come back from a dream.

Appearence- Kei has dark brown hair with shades of ice blue near the end. She also has dark brown eyes that change back and forth to ice blue. She wears an outfit just like padme's (in star wars, ep.II) and always carries a handgun. Just in case.

Birthmark: On the front left side of her neck, Phyra has a small, skull-shaped mark with two long, demon-like wings sprouting from the back of it, and red patches running from them, symbolizing, what else, but the element of Death.

Bio: As a child, and now as a young adult, Phyra was always secretive - almost cold - about her past, hence, not much is known of her. Although, I can tell you what I do know of her, or at least, what she's told me...

Phyra's mother and father never got along, they constantly fought, attacked each other.... both verbally and physically. She would often sit alone and listen to her mother scream, while her father would yell back in a sickening tone... And after a long time of putting up with this, she got sick of it and started to let herself feel no more.. she became numb, hollow, and started to take pleasure in pain... learning quite well how to hide her emotions and use that to play with others' emotions and minds... Sometimes even her own mind... sometimes even her own wrists... *Sighs* Those scars prove it.

When she turned 17, she stole away from her home two days after her birthday, and moved to one of the larger cities in the area (apparently the same one Isthanae resides in) and started to spend all her free time honing her skills at fighting, learning most of it off the streets... and I suspect she's been in a few gangs, but god knows....

She can now handle almost every weapon she could ever get her hands on, and although she isn't anywhere near perfect with them, in my opinion, she really seems to think she is. When she talks about herself, she tends to leave out anything "honorly" about herself, and tends to focus on boosting her own ego.... tsk.... such a pity, is it not? Ah well....

Well, back on subject.... As for that mark she has on her neck, she never told me how she got it, and I presume its a birthmark... such a strange one, though... Almost makes me think of her past... maybe its there for a reason.... maybe its why she loves to be in pain, and to face death constantly..?
