Flash
The trick to FF8 isn't to level up your characters, but rather your GFs... If you can't beat Adel, well, you might just have to start again, and make sure you have all GFs and the Lionheart. (I like getting it in Deling City in disk one)
Guest Seven Heavens
The easiest way to kill her is ::: You have to junction all the GF to Squall (supposed to have STR 255) with Kamikaze (Cactuar) This should kill her in one hit. I found this strategy myself !!
Arkadyz
ermmm adel really isnt that hard...just draw regen from rinoa and use it on yourself(and rinoa) Other then that just smack her down with one physical attack after another...she isnt the strongest boss... SephirothNIN
The more you level up the higher Adel will become anyway, and putting every GF on Squall is rather stupid, because then the other characters won't have anything to do. You don't want to use certain limit breaks like duel or renzokuken, because there's a chance it'll hit Rinoa. Irvine's limit break works great if you have AP ammo, pulse ammo's strong but slow. Any mutli-enemy attack like meteor, ultima, or tornado is...well useless duh you can't kill Rinoa. Cast shell on yourself or Adel's Ultima will beat the crap out of you, and just....well treat it like any other boss and use your strongest stuff. Regen/shell on Rinoa is great of course unless you plan to kill her fast.
JCBaggee
Something I've noticed whilst playing FF8...Adel's using what's essentially a drain spell on Rinoa to take HP...first, cast Regen on Rinoa, then cast Shell on Rinoa. Shell will cut the amount of HP she drains in half, which will almost immediatly be restored by Regen. --JC
Psychotik
Okay, Adel kind of annoyed me because I defeated her so easily, infact she never hit me once. What I used was the freindship item (Don't ask me where I got them from I was just searching through my items one day and it was there) basically a moomba comes and starts kicking and punching. Its a good item as it does 9999 damage and only to one person. If you dont have freindship cast shell and regen on Rinoa, and then cast meltdown on Adel (to lower her defence), then use either Irvine's or Quistis's limit bresks, make sure you pick the limit break that only does damage to one person, it says on status or something. I just wanted to ask WHERE THE HELL IS THE OMEGA WEAPON? I've been looking for him everywhere, he's the hardest boss on FF8 thats why I would like to face him as Ultimecia was such a dissapointment. User Name
Freindhip item? What the hell is THAT?
Arkadyz
Omega is alittle tough to find...Leave your main part at the switch next to the fountain.exit the front foyer via the door on the upper-right side. You'll see a bell in the cieling. Ring it then switch back to your main party and go inside the chapel. Beware though he is one BADASS. he'll attempt to kill your entire party its first turn. You'll need items and junctioned spells to prevent instant death...if you dont have plenty of Aura spells and Holy War items you'll be screwed...good luck to ya. SephirothNIN
Friendship item? Well there's a bazillion, junk like....using an ice crystal will increase the character's affinity w/ Shiva. There's also luvluvg's that increase one person's affinity w/ all GF's by 30, when someone's affinity is 999 w/ a GF they summon a lot faster. You can refine the chubby chocobo card into 100 luvluvg's I believe. As for Omega he IS hard, but protection against insta-death won't help much, his terra break will do 30,000+ damage, and his megido flame does 9998 damage I think, ur best and probably only bet is holy wars (from gilgamesh card) or hero's (from Laguna's card). Maybe if u're at a really low level (so Omega's HP isn't so high) and junction your strength really high and use limit.
JCBaggee
Huh? I thought the Friendship was a moomba related item you could only get with a PocketStation...or am I thinking of something else...?
conpiracymonki
The friendship item isn't the compatability stuff ^_^ It's where a moomba comes down and starts clawing at the enemy. Anyway, if you have the LionHeart, use it on Adel. For some reason, none of my other Renzokuken finishers come up against Adel, so I guess the same might work for you. And be careful, because right after that, you got to fight an annoying Sorceress boss that keeps multiplying and changing and stuff. Bottom line- Use Shell and Regen on Rinoa if you haven't got LionHeart (like everyone else said) :)
