SephirothNIN
All of your people are overdrived and you can't win? Hmm...well first cast haste if you have it, and protect no matter what. His cross-cleave will do around 3,000 damage, and protect will halve that. If you kill his mortochis or whatever it will drain 4,000hp from Seymour (altho if you keep killing it it won't drain as much). Don't waste people's turns like kimahri or rikku doing their overdrives (unless you mix a mighty guard or something), and just be sure to cure zombie after he uses lance of atrophy, then Seymour will try to kill that person with cure or full-life, either way if you holy-water it you'll be fine. Cross-cleave is really the only thing to worrk about.
Guest bj
Hmm..That's strange, with all of your characters on overdrive...Hmm..how did I do it?...Oh yeah, you might wanna level up for a while.Especially Yuna, cos when she gets stronger, her aeons get stronger. And,after that, with everybody on overdrive, call your aeons and use their overdrives on their first move (cos he casts banish on them when its his turn).Use all your aeons, and when you run out (if he's not dead yet) use your character's overdrives (like Auron,Tidus, and Lulu). But,what you could do before is cast some Breaks on him,like...Power Break,or Magic Break,or Armour Break.Something to lower his defence and magic defence if you use powerful spells on him.I don't remember if he's ammuned, but you could try poison too.And cast Hastega on your party, and Reflect. Learn Holy too (Yuna's most powerful attack),but if you cast Reflect, remember who to cast Holy on,or,like I'm sure you know, you will hurt yourself.well, that's about it.I remember Seymour on Gagazet was really hard. And,here's a little spoiler-you'll fight him one last time inside of Sin.But,if you play your aeons right,he'll be INCREDIBLY easy. That's it for now :D
Sephiroth
I think the main problem here is that seymour flux casts curse on you and then uses full life to kill you instantly....
Zero-Sama
You need to have Lots of Holy Waters, Because i went into that battle without any and the only thing i could rely on was my aeons, Which did pretty powerful attacks. Hastaga, Shell, Protect and having quick control of the buttons,Because you only have one turn to heal The Zombie Status after he uses the lance of atrophy, Are all needed in this battle. When you call your aeons, He will banish them on his first turn, But don't use the overdrives right away. Look at the turn line up first, And if you seen, for example: Shiva Shiva Seymour Use a regular attack your first turn, THEN your overdrive.I made that mistake. Why waste a full attack, When you can get 1000 more hp out of him? *NOTE*:Do not use the Special attacks, They make it so Seymour attacks next, And you waste your Overdrive. After using the Aeons with my statagy, Use your characters overdrives, And if he's not dead, Use stronge magic and attacks, And when you attack, Use Arron, Because he has the highest attack rating. Cloud_Strife
If you desperatly need Holy Waters you can head back down the mountain and buy some from one of the guys down there. And should one of your guys be cursed and you have no Holy Waters, just cast Reflect on that character so that Seymour's Life Attack will have no effect. SephirothNIN
Fire gems are great, they hit multiple times, but you need other peope dealing good damage as well. Casting reflect would just make it harder to heal after cross-cleave, Esuna will get rid of zombie, or holy waters. If Seymour's just using his lance of atrophy/life combo that'd make the battle easier anyway. It's a lot easier to revive/heal one person than to heal 3. Guest ProudClod
Ok, here we go....(again)....Haste is very important in this battle, so make sure you caste it on everyone. Yes, it is a good idea to have all over drives ready, but unless you know that your Yuna is fast enough, rely on Grand Summon. Have Holy Water and Remedies handy, or get a zombie ward to prevent curse. Unless you are strong enough, start to rely on physical attacks, especially with Auron and Wakka. Guest Kazuya Mishima
This isnt actually that hard if you think about it, but none the less, here is the lo-down. It's a good idea to use Yuna's and Kimahri's trigger command ability to increase their magic defence or strength by 10 points. You can use Hastega, but Seymour will eventually use dispell to lift it. Seymour's spear attack will turn you into a zombie, and then Mortiorchis will cast Full Life to take one of your characters down in one shot, so have Remedies and Holy Water at the ready. Use Wakka's silence buster to prevent Seymour from using his Flare attack, try to poison him as well, as this can prove quite effective. Mortiochis will use Total Annihilation once Seymour's HP drops to 35,000, so use Shell to reduce the damage. You could also use Kimahri's Mighty Guard before Total Annihilation (bear in mind that you have two rounds to spare before Mortiochis uses Total Annihilation). I hope that helps. :)
