SS MajinVegeta
Ok, well thanks for the info......I guess. Cartoon Network restarts the episodes at the most interesting parts so they can keep it interesting, make the episodes "new" or something.
PiroMunkie
Well thanks for the update, thuogh technically the episodes aren't "new". New to Toonami, but the episodes have already been released on DVD and VHS. Not to mention the entire series has been done and over with for some time now. By any chance does anyone know which episodes they're going to show before they decide to stop and start replaying old episodes again? Lol..
Justin
I imagine they'll finish off the Buu Saga. Ah well, I have my subs...if I ever decide to watch DB/Z/GT again...o.O -Justin

Guest Krillen214
Yes, very old. Gt ended some 6 years ago I think. So, these episodes are about 8 years old. ^_^
Sephiroth
you never mentioned whether these "new" episodes are for the UK for the US....
Kinetic
Hopefully both... It's true though...they are new to Toonami, but they are actually quite old :p And the series' buzz died down a long time ago in Japan.

Rain
Does anyone know when the "new" episodes come out in Australia? Is it sept 3? They stopped showing them halfway thru and started showing the frieza saga:confused:
Kinetic
Lucky for you :p They started from the Saiya-Jin Saga in the U.S. That probably means it will be showing the same time everywhere (if the UK is on Furiza Saga). They probably planned it out to show it in all places at the same time, and will go on from there.
JCBaggee
Crap! What are they going to do with the re-runs they're showing? I don't think they'll get through with the Frieza Saga by Sept. 3...anyone know if they're going to double up on eps? And are there going to be new Dragon Ball eps too?
Kinetic
They will probably either cut straight from the Frieza saga into the rest of the Buu eps, or delay the Buu eps until they are up to the point where they left off. And I don't know if they will show more DB eps, but they probably will once GT starts.
Schrat
Is there any chance in hell that Gt will start in 4th quarter 2002?? Or will it start sep. 2003?
Kinetic
It has been announced 2003, but I don't know when, and they will probably delay it to hell as well.
Schrat
lol, knowing funi we wont see Gt for a loooooonnnnnnnnngggggggg time....
Rain
Yeah, they make so much money off DragonBall/Z, they'll want to postpone the end for as long as they can.
Saiyjin Beijita
Originally posted by Altron Gundam Any DBZ/GT episode is not new. They just mean never shown before dubbed and slaughtered.
It really is sad. Slughtered seems like and understatement. Just for general information. In Japan, you can find a tape set of every Dragonball, Dragonball Z, and Dragonball GT episode ever made, including 15 movies for a price of about 50 dollars in U.S. currency. You could probably find it on E-Bay or Amazon. All the work you'd have to do is learn Japanese. The English Subtitled episodes are a tad pricier, but if you do want to experience the Dragonball phenomenon in it's full glory, it's well worth shelling out a pretty penny.
