Anime English voice actors

lol, Heero used to be my favorite GW character before I ever saw the show. he just has that 'mysterious look' about him :cool:.

I just thought of another voice I like; Gai Daigouji's. his va is Brett Weaver I think, and after lookin' up some info on the guy, it turns out he's the dude that did Carrot's voice in Sorcerer Hunters as well, along with a bunch of others....

lol. I do that a lot, I'll fall in love with characters just based on their looks, although usually it's because they're cute Bishonen. ^^ I still like his voice, too, though. I think it fits perfectly. He can sound pretty cold and emotionless, but he doesn't sound too old. I hate it when they're 15 and sound 30...

The guy in my banner is Orphen. He's one of my favorite anime characters, and one of the best dubbed characters, too.

Actually Johnny Yong Bosch did the voice for Kaneda not Tetsuo. Tetsuo was done by, the voice of Tai from Digimon and Yamagato was obviously done by the voice of Joe, also from Digimon.

Oh yeah, I really like Eric Johnson and Chuck Hubert. I knew Hiei's voice sounded familiar, but I couldn't quite remember who from DBZ he was.....that's right, Android 17. I knew that before, but I forgot. I really like his voice. ^^

I think the worst character voice I've ever heard is the dubbing for Ranma (boy-type) in the first few seasonsof Ranma 1/2. For whatever reason they picked someone that sounds like a 9 year old boy to play him, and it just does NOT fit. Luckily, they fixed this later on in the series. The show is far better in Japanese anyway.

I also had problems with Nadia: Secret of Blue Water. Overall, the dubbing is great...but the main character, Jacques, seems to go in and out of his French accent randomly for no reason. It just drives me crazy.

Best... Well, technically Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust was never dubbed in the first place, as it's also in English in Japan. I think they did a pretty good job considering.

I honestly can't think of any anime I'd rather watch dubbed though lol.

Derek Stephen Prince is one of my fabs (he mostly frequents the Digimon scene).
Do video game sub/dub count? If so, Matt McKenzie's pretty good. Not perfect, but pretty good.

Well none of you are going to be familiar with this voice actor. But his name is Tony Oliver he was the english dub voice actor for Rick Hunter! He is one of my favorite too bad he only did voice acting for Robotech and Candidate for a Godess aka Pilot Candidate.
