The Planet of Malastare. All it's un urbanised areas completly covered with dense forests and thick marsh lands. This was to be the place of the Vinta Harvest Classic. This being one of the most slippery and greasy Pod tracks ever. It's winding turns and slippery marsh grounds make it one of the most dangerous Tracks around. This kind of track needs Pods with excellent traction abd the best of turning, otherwise there's going to be a lot of Pod cleaning up! Above the track huge vines, branches and leaves hang themselves from the towering trees while the grass below is almost 3 metres high. the is only a small cutting in the huge long grass for the pods to travel through........ let's see if you can finish the race with your pod, and indeed your life intact!

Andrew wondered through the huge Stadium, it's massive amount of seats, being able to hold up to 80,000 at most. He serveyed the green surroundings with keen interest. His Jedi mind collecting the course so he knew waht was coming his way. He knew with his excellent traction on his Pod he would be one of the favourites to win the race. He watched as his pod was unloaded from his ship. His droids pulled the engines and cockpit out seperatly and then began to take them towards the starting point.

Andrew was one of the first of the racers to arrive. He also noticed that there were several local racers and one of his Racing rivals, Xanko. The little Dug was a devious character and Andrew was careful not to leave his Pod un guared. Soon the race would begin and Andrew's rise to fame would come...

Relee looked over her new speeder. She had just bought the speeder from a little slave that had just won the previous race. She checked all the parts, making sure that she had recieved what she had payed for. Then she realized the controls. They seemed a bit complex for a little boy to handle...
She looked at the controls, puzzeled. She decided to test the controls later on in the day. For now, she had to find a way to get it home.....

Guest Zero
As he land on Malastare he can already feel a presence one like no other. A sith but the location is still unknown. He also felt another Jedi but who is the question.

Hayato(to himself): It will not be easy to protect them after all. But not matter.

As soon as he got out of his ship he when directly to the track to meet the race representative. To get the detail of the problem.

Xanko stood next to the cockpit of his podracer, "The Vulture", checking all the systems and relays to make sure everything was in order for the race. If something was a bit out he'd have his R2 Unit, named X, to sort it out.

(All things Xanko says will be translations of his own language.)
Xanko: Okay X, everythings fine. Get off the track.

X chirped pleasently, then his third leg extended onto the ground, and he started moving off the track. Xanko pulled on his racing goggles, and made a quick final check of his pod, as the announcers voice boomed into the stadium.

Announcer: Welcome everyone to the Vinta Harvest race, on the lovely planet of Malastare. The stakes sure are high today, with the prize of 6,500 truguts to the winner! 12 of the best racers in the universe have come here to compete today, including track favorite Gasgano. He sits on the pole position, and next to him is the always threatening fan favorite Sebulba! His fellow Dug, the extremely popular Xanko sits behind him, and next to him is the rugged young humaoid Andrew. The native Malastarian Mohonic is also in the race, and as usual is a real crowd pleaser. Ebe Endecott is also in his first race back after smashing up his pod on Mon Gazza! Racers, start your engines!

All the racers climbed into their pods, as the rest of the bustling crowds on the track quickly cleared the way. One by one the engines started up, each sounding unique, completely different to the one next to it. The racers all braced themselves, preparing for the start of the race.

Zen watched the podracers anxiously waiting for the race to start; he sat on a seat near the front so as to attain a good view of the race. There were so many ways that a problem could arise in a podrace, engine failure, stupidity and the most common and deadly sabotage. Jabba the Hutt had instructed Zen that Andrew and Xanko both of whom drew very good crowds at the podraces on Tatooine, because of their skill and also because there was much gambling on them which brought Jabba much money were to be kept alive and their pods intact at all costs. Zen would tour the racers area in his Jedi robes to avoid detection, Somehow he felt more comfortable in them but he knew he couldn't ever return to that way of life again.

Zen watched even more eagerly as the race started all podracers weaving in and out between or beside each other. It was neck and neck between Sebulba and Gasgano, the two favorites but Xanko and Andrew were tailing both intentively hoping to take the lead. The slick Maldarian track provided the perfect test of skill for racers as their pods would litter the area otherwise. Uproar had filled the stadium as Sebulba the dug had taken the lead but what happened next caused and even louder roar. The other Dug Xanko was gaining and had over taken Sebulba and taken the lead, the screen on Zen's visor told him that Xanko had reached a speed of 975 km/h. Zen had heard a rumor that Xanko used illegal boosters and Zen didn't doubt that. Zen got up leaving his seat and walked down into the bar waiting for the race to finish, but he knew it wasn't over just yet

Xanos had spotted the three racers he had seen before. Truly marvelous...

It was quite humid that day on Malastare. The podracer he had just been protecting had died a week before, and now the Jedi seeks to find redemption.
Xanos could hear the sound of engines being tuned, and he could sense the tension between the riders. This race was another risk of death and life, and Xanos was there to see that nothing tricky was up.

Suddenly, the Force came....and it was now aware of a new presence...one of darkness...

"Darkness........"

Relee had forgotten all about the race that was going on today. She was puzzled at the controls. She tried to figure them out, but they were far too advanced. She wanted to ask the little slave boy what they were, but rumors had said that he was freed and was to be trained to be a jedi knight. She wondered if her sister had met this young boy yet. She thought of the adventures that Kei would face everyday and suddenly grew excited at the thought. But she shook her head and got back to work. She knew that the joystick was used to steer.... She decided to call in one of the royal michanics (spelling?? ^^') from azelea...
