RPG Star Wars: The Battle of Ruusan...

[Boba Fett]

[I]It is 1000 years before the Battle of Yavin. The Sith and The Jedi are engaged in a titanic battle on the planet Ruusan, the outcome of which will decide the fate of the galaxy.

The Jedi are led by a Powerful Jedi Master named Lord Hoth. The Jedi have taken a beating, and are recruiting force sensitive individuals and pressing them into battle to make up for their horrific losses. They are in dire straights, and must hold out until a transport of Jedi reinforcements arrives from Courscant.

The Sith are lead by a Sith Lord named Kaan. He is not a very powerful sith, but is a brilliant tactician. He is defeating the Jedi so far and needs to finish them off before their reinforcements arrive. His rival among the Sith is an extremely powerful warrior, Darth Bane. Bane is a master of the dark side and feels that the Sith shouldn?t fight the Jedi in ground engagements. He wants the Sith to combine their powers and create a firestorm that will destroy the remaining Jedi.[/I]

On the planet?

Abob Ttef was on a cliff overlooking the Jedi encampment. He and several other hunters had been hired by the Sith as mercenaries. They were now trying to figure out where the Jedi were weakest, so that Kaan would have this information to help formulate his new battle plan.

Suddenly humming noises filled the air, and there were screams as several hunters around Abob were decapitated by lightsaber blades. The accursed Jedi had found them! Abob ducked a lightsaber blow that would have cut him in two and activated his jetpacks. He flew high into the air and began to fire his blaster rifle at the Jedi below. While the Jedi were busy deflecting the bolts of energy he flew down to his speeder bike, which was parked at the edge of the battle area.

Abob landed hard on his speeder bike, but ignored the pain and flew at maximum speed towards the Sith base, turning around every once in a while to make sure he wasn?t being tracked?

[Mist]

[color=red][size=1]Mara hacked away, beside her master, at the remaining bounty hunters. He jade green lightsabre flashed as she brought it in an arc, slicing a boutnty hunter in two.

She spun around, deflecting a blow from a blaster rifle that could have mortally injured her. She shook her head and jumped, dodging another shot.

She flipped back and swung haphazardly, slicing another bounty hunters arm off. Two bounty hunters ran towards her suddednly, but with the wave of her hand, they were on the floor, in a mess.[/color][/size]

[Schrat]

[i] Ion ran forward, turning his lightsabars on, he slide past Mara. And cut the head off of the last Bounty Hunter aiming for the Jedi Camp.

Mara: Thanks!

Ion: No problem. (Ion looks at the bead men on the ground) Hired by the sith.

Mara: Most likely, Master Ion.

Ion: We must find Lord Hoth and take the next step forward to destroying the Sith.

Mara turns to her Master.

Mara: May I?

Master: Yes my dear

Mara runs up to Ion.

Ion: You know you could pass the trials

Mara looks down

Mara: But my master wont....

Ion: We must get to Lord Hoth[/i]

[Geist]

[I]Trynn, a Jedi who recently finished his training, ran up to Mara and Ion.[/I]

[COLOR=blue]Trynn: What happened here? Who were these bounty hunters?[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red]Mara: We don't know exactly who they are, but we think they were hired by the Sith.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkred]Ion: I believe Lord Hoth is behind all of this, we will be going after him soon. We will need as much help as we can get, will you be coming along, Trynn?[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue]Trynn: Of course, Ion.[/COLOR]

[Schrat]

Ion: Lord Hoth, I thought he would have been the best jedi ever. he was like my father!

Mara: Powerful people....Corupte Minds

Trynn: But the Sith, we cant let this get to our heads

Ion: Yes Trynn. You are showing signs of a true Jedi warrior, you to Mara.

Mara & Trynn: Thank you....

The three Jedi walk up a platform that leads to Lord Hoths room.

Ion: Stay here, I hear talking inside.

Trynn and Mara run behind a wall, and Ion pushs the door open.

Inside he finds Lord Hoth holding a sith warrior by the neck....

[Geist]

[COLOR=blue]OOC: Umm...Lord Hoth is a major NPC isn't he? If so, maybe we shouldn't find him so soon...[/COLOR]

As Ion runs in, Lord Hoth points his hand at Ion.

The door slames shut and Ion falls to the ground. Trynn and Mara try to open the door, but it is locked.

Minutes later Ion gets up, surronded by bounty Hunters, not knowing what has happened.

Ion: What the!

He turns on his two lightsabars

Ion: Mara! Tyrnn!!

[Boba Fett]

OOC: Wow, hold it. Since when was [I]Lord Hoth[/I] a "bad guy"?

He is the leader of the [B]Jedi[/B], and has no connection what-so-ever to the dark side, let alone the Sith. I am going to disregard [B]everything[/B] after Schratn9's first post.

Now, let's get on with the story...

Abob lands his speeder right outside the Largest tent in the Sith encampment, which belongs to the Sith leader Lord Kaan.

He walks up to the two Sith warriors that are standing guard motionlessly outside the doorway.

Abob: "Let me in, I have critical information for Kaan."

Guard 1: "For [I]who[/I]?"

Abob: "Fine, the information is for [I]Lord[/I] Kaan."

Guard 2: "You may enter."

Abob walks into the tent and up a carpet to a throne. In front of the throne is a large table, on which is displayed a holo-map of the planet. Lord Kaan and his tacticians are studying it closely and debating where to strike next.

Tactician 1: "We must attack their left flank, for that is where their main camp is. If we destroy it, they will be forced to surrender."

Tactician 2: "No, No. We must attack the center of their army, it is not very strong and once we do this their force will be divided."

Kaan: "Enough of this, I say we should...Ah, a scout is here. What information do you have?"

Abob: "The Jedi have entrenched themselves in the middle of a valley, which is surrounded by mountains. Their army is spit into four groups; one is guarding the only path to the valley. Another is patrolling the skies above the valley. The third group is spread thinly around the mountains and the final group is guarding the main camp."

Kaan: "Good, this information is excellent, well done bounty hunter you are dismissed."

Abob: "But sir there is more."

Kaan: "What is it?"

Abob: "My group was ambushed, and I was the lone survivor. Only a Sith would have known where we were. There is a spy in this camp."

Kaan: "I see, I will look into this matter personally..."

[Mist]

If Boba has disregarded things after Schraten's first post, then why don't I set the stage?

"You could take on the trials." Ion said quietly
Mara smiled tiredly at the Jedi Master.
"Thank you," she whispered, "but my master and I both know that I am not mentally pshyced for it yet. I must train yet."
Ion smiled gently.
"So be it, young one." he replied, putting a fatherly arm around the young girl.
"I suppose we should get to back to the patrol. We'll have to send messengers to the valley, the skies, and the camp." Ion stated, looking up at the sky.
"We were lucky enough to be placed on a mountain." Mara muttered sarcastically.
Ion laughed good-naturedly.
"Don't be bitter. It's a challenge, something you're always complaining about not having."
Mara blushed.
"You've heard me?" she asked.
Ion nodded.
"Well, let's go back." He said, walking ahead, Mara following close behind.

[i]Ion and Mara walks slowly down the back side of the mountain. Ion takes his arm off of the girl and looks up.

Mara: is something wrong Master Ion?

Ion: Trouble, coming this way.

All of a sudden a Fighter ship flew over the two Jedi, stoping and letting twenty Sith soldiers fall to the ground.

Ion looked Mara straight in the eyes.

Ion: Some training!

Ion tunrs on his two Navy blue bladed Lightsabars and stood his ground. He looked over Mara's shoulders and saw every single Sith soldier with a gun aimed at the two Jedi.

Mara: What now Master?

Ion: We fight!

Ion jumps into the air swinging his two blades....[/i]

[color=teal] [size=1]Kei looked down at the dead bounty hunters. She winced at the mortal wounds they had recived in battle. Not that she felt sorry for them, she just hated being in all these battles. She hated war. She would do anything to prevent it. She wished that someday, there would be peace. Kei turned off her gold lightsaber and slowly skipped across the dead bodies. Kei picked up a small laser blaster that was still full.... just in case. She saw a dead body laying on the ground that looked somewhat exactly like her master. She bend over quickly and turned him over. It was just another jedi master.... one that she never seemed to notice.... Kei looked through the remaining dead bodies.[/color] [/size]

[COLOR=blue]OOC: Sorry about that guys, the way schratn9 was talking about him, I thought he was a bad guy. Oh, and Mist, NPC stands for [B]N[/B]on [B]P[/B]layer [B]C[/B]haracter.[/COLOR]

[I]Trynn ran into the battle with Mara and Ion. He cut down three sith and headed for another, the sith fired at him but he deflected the shots. Then, a blast hit him from behind and knocked him down.[/I]

[COLOR=red]Mara: Trynn! Are you alright?[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue]Trynn: Yes, I'll be fine.[/COLOR] [I]Trynn said as he stood up.[/I]

[I]The same sith tried to shoot him again, but he dodged the shots and cut his opponent in half.[/I]

[COLOR=blue]Trynn: It looks like this battle is nearly won.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red]Ion: Do not underestimate...[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue]Trynn: ...Your enemy. Yes I know.[/COLOR]

Ion turned to his right and put his hand up, the sith al fell.

Trynn: So thats it

Mara: There not dead!

Mara took here lightsabar and cut threw the remaining Sith soldiers...

Ion: nice work Mara.

Trynn walked away, his head held low.

mara: Whats wrong with him?

ion: My freind trynn is not ready to be a jedi, yet.........His mind runs away from the Jedi Order. We must keep him away from the Sith, and get to Lord Hoth.

Mara: Yes Master Ion.

Mara and Ion run off to the jedi Base Camp...

[Juu]

[color=teal] [size=1]Kei got back up, feeling a disturbance in the force. She quickly ignighted her lightsaber and swung behind her. The dark figure had blocked it! Kei flipped over its head. As she was in mid-air, she took a graceful, swift swing at the sith's head. The figure blocked it, but not so easily. She took a left swing, then a right, but the sith seemed to block it well without any difficulty. Kei and the sith engaged in a fight, Whenever the sith swung, she blocked, whenever she did, the sith blocked it as well.
The sith took a swing at kei's feet. She leaped up, just as she sensed it, and took one more graceful swing at the sith's head. In that moment, was the fight over. Kei turned of her lightsaber, the small 'hum' going away as she did. She walked back to the ship. But just as she did, nother disturbance came along. But this was takin care of easily. With a wave of her hand, the three bounty hunter were thrown at least ten feet from her. She climbed back into her ship, and started looking for survivors. Kei saw three figures heading for the jedi base. She lowered the craft to see what they were. She smiled and landed close to them and quickly climed out.

Kei) anymore survivors?

Ion) I'm not sure. We haven't seen anyone else.

Mara) If there are anymore, we need to go back and get them. I feel alot of pain coming from them.

Kei) yes, I sense it too. C'mon, we need to go back and get them.

Ion) don't you think we need a bigger ship?

Mara) There could still be alot of jedi alive. We should get as much jedi back as soon as we can. They could be hurt.

The three run to a large landing craft. They climb in with mara flying it. Kei looks outside.

Kei) hey wait, who's that?

Kei points to another jedi walking to the jedi base.

Ion) that's Trynn

Mara) let him go, he'll be fine.

Kei sits back down as mara starts the ship. Ion stands in the back ready to help up any remaining jedi....[/color] [/size]

[i] As Mara flew the ship over the battle feild Kei walked to the back of the ship, next to Ion.

Kei: Master Ion, There are so many dead, What should we do?

Ion: Wait, find survivors, and let them strike first.

Mara screams from the cockpit

Mara: Survivors on the groud, Im lowering the ship, you two jump out the hatch!

Ion: Yes.

The ship lowers and Kei and Ion jump out. Hitting the floor Kei stumbles and falls, but Ion grabs the three survivors. He runs back to the ship, but turns because a infiltry of Sith Soldiers make there way over the Hill.

Mara stikes her hand out and Ion gives her the Jedi. He then pulls himself in and Mara highers the ship.

Ion: Wait!!!! Kei is still down there!

Mara turns the ship to a 90 degree angle and Ion jumps back out. He picks up kei and then jumps back in the ship. Kei looks straight at him.

Kei: Thank you so much!

Ion: its my job, but theres no time for talk!

The Sith soldiers jump on top of the ship.

Ion: Mara Steady! Steady!

Mara: i cant see, there on the window!

Ion: turn to auto Pilot!

Mara: ok

The three Jedi Turn there Lightsabars on and the hatch to the ship opens.[/i]

[color=teal] [size=1]Mara let go of the controls, and ran over to Ion and Kei, igniting her lightsaber.
"I set the controls to land somewhere. Master, get the sith away from the ship! Kei and I will go look for survivors!" Mara yelled, holding on to the seats.

"Please make sure none of them get in. May the force be with you master." Kei said, getting ready to jump.

"May the force be with you too."Ion said, igniting his lightsaber as well. Kei and Mara jumped about 10 feet from the ship.

"I sense something coming from over there!" Mara exclaimed, bursting into gestures.

"okay, we'd better hurry!" Kei said, also bursting into gestures.

Both jumped over the bodies of dead bounty hunters. Mara helped up an old jedi master.

"oh no! We'll get you back to the base, just hold on!" Kei said as they both tried to help him up.

"Kei! Behind you!" Mara yelled, dropping one side of the jedi and pointing at a figure behind Kei.

Kei turns around, quickly igniting her lightsaber and starts fighting with the dark figure. Mara lightly drops the jedi master and joins in with her jade green lightsaber in hand. Both jedi made swift swings, mastering the techniques of their lightsabers.
Mara smung low as Kei smung high. They both switched back and forth as the dark figure seemed to block them all easily with his double-bladed,red lightsaber. Mara showed no signs of slowing down. Kei could tell that Mara had an idea. Mara told her a message from her head to hers. " distract him with a jump. I'll take it from there." Kei nodded and started swinging in every direction, making the sith have to move faster. Kei took a fast, jump, still swinging at the sith. Just then, mara stuck. The battle had ended. She had stabbed the sith right in his stomach. There, the sith gave a shocked expression at the stiking pain, and collapsed, face first, into the sand. Mara and Kei smirked at each other and returned to the injured jedi master.[/color] [/size]

[i] Ion ran to the Two Girls and the wounded Jedi.

Ion: Nice work (He looks at the Jedi) Take him to the ship, NOW!

Mara: Yes my master

The two girls begin to run, but Kei turns back

Kei: What about survivors

Ion looks to the burnt ashes blowing around the ground.

Ion: There are none

They all made there way to the ship. Ion took controls, he took the ship high into the sky, and flew over the near-by hill.

After about an hour of flying they made it to water and could see an island up ahead.

Mara: Home...

Kei: Home?

Ion: Jedi base camp, Welcome

The ship landed and the three "heros" stepped out, welcomed with cheers.
Ion immediatly made his way to the main tactics room.

Ion: Where is Lord Hoth?

Guard: In his room Master Ion

Ion: Thank you.

Ion walked to Lord Hoth's room, and walked straight in.

Ion: We strike now!!!!![/i]

Mara shot a bewildered glance at Kei.

"A little high and mighty," Kei said with faint amusement, "isn't he?"

Mara giggled.

"A little?"

Both the girls smiled broadly.

"Mara?"

Mara spun around to face a certain Jedi Knight.

"Um, yes?" she asked uncertainly.

"My name is Master Haas. I am to present you to the council. They have decided it is time for you to take the Trials." he said simply, turning away and expecting her to follow.

She glanced over at Kei, who shot her thumbs up at her, smiling.

"Good luck!" she exclaimed.

Mara nodded nervously, visibly paleing, before turning around and following the Jedi Knight.

[COLOR=blue]Trynn: Hey, Mara. Are you going to your trials?[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red]Mara: Yeah, I am. I think I'll do well.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=blue]Trynn: Yeah, you probably will. I just hope you'll do better than I did.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=red]Mara: Thanks...I think...[/COLOR]

[i] Master Ion and Lord Hoth walked down a long straight stairwell, til they reached the councel's "battle" room. They opened up to find Mara standing in the center of the circular room.

Lord Hoth: Im sorry young Mara, but I must inform the councel it is the time to strike the sith. We are begining to send out our troops as we speak.

Master Ion: Lord Hoth and I will join the infiltry of jedis, but we need three more Jedi's to join us. We are going to try and take out the Sith Masters and there base on this planet.

Trynn walked in and stood behind the two Jedi.

Trynn: I will go with you.

Ion: Ok, now two more.[/i]

[Mist]

[color=red][size=1]Schratn, you just don't get it, do you?

Mara stood silently before the council as Master Ion walked silently out of the room, in search of two other jedi's to join him.

"So, the time has come." a voice claimed quietly.

Mara nodded, her resolve growing.

"Are you ready for the trials, young one?"

"Yes." Mara replied, resolutely.

~*A week later*~

"Kei! Kei," Mara called excitedly, running in between the tents of the encampments, " where are you!?"

Kei swung around and walked quickly over to her friend.

"Is something alright?" she asked impatiently, grabbing the girl by the shoulders.

Mara shook her head.

"No," she excalimed, her eyes twinkling, "I've been made a Jedi Knight!"[/color][/size]

[Juu]

[color=blue] [size=1]Kei's eyes grew as large as hers.
"WOW Really?!? I'm so Happy for you!! Was the test HARD? I mean, what did you have to do, and what was it like and-" Kei asked inquistively, jumping up with excitement.

"You'll see soon enough. It wasn't very hard..Oh and I heard you haven't seen your old master in a while... I wonder what could of happened to him?"
Mara said calmly.

Kei sighed and hung her head for a lil bit, then smiled again.

"Yeah, gee, I wonder where he is. I guess he's waaay off on the outer rim... ^_^'" Kei lied. Although she knew that something wasn't right."C'mon, Let's go out and get a drink to celebrate! ^_^" Kei suggested, trying to forget about her master.[/color] [/size]

[Schrat]

[i] Get what!?

Ion walked out of his room and on too his balcony. Trynn walked out next followed by hoth. Ion looked out and began to sulk.

Trynn: What is wrong Master?

Ion: I feel something, today is the day.

Hoth: I feel it too, as if the force is telling us to strike. We will tonight!

The three men walked off the balcony and out of the room.

~ten minutes later~

Hoth talks to the guard

Hoth: Tell the councel of my meeting, in 2 hours. I want every Jedi, knight, and padawan there.[/i]

[Mist]

Also, I'm saying that you, Schraten, are pushing the rpg too fast. Slow down a bit. We can strike at a later time. There must be time to 'plan'. Don't be a fool.[/color][/size]
