Does anything know of any items, asiding a LuvLuv G, that raise compatibilty with Eden? And where the hell can I get them? I mean really, it's a great summon and all, but it's just too damn slow. Takes far too long to get faster as well.

I don't have a clue about any compatability items for Eden, but get Squall's LionHeart GunBlade.
More than 6 times the damage for less of the wait
^_^

But the difficult thing is actually getting it, and the fact that 15% of the time, you'll get Blasting Zone or something popping up...

Well give him to the person in your party that Eden most confortable with.To get the LuvLuvGs you have to get Quezaqotl's Card mod ability to get it.Refine the Chubby chocobo card to get 100 LUvLuvGs.To get the chubby chocobo card you need to be in the "Queen of Cards" Quest. Then in Balamb Garden some guy outside of the library has it.Defeat him to get it.I'll edit to tell you about the Quest.

You don't need to go through that blechy queen of cards quest. All you need to do is play against everyone in the CC club, from jack to King, in Balamb Garden. Then, in Disc4 all of the CC members will be on the Ragnarok. They will have any cards that you missed, I picked up chubby choco and chicibo from people there. The CC people also have certain cards like leviathan, carbuncle, etc. The queen of cards will be at the crash site in disc 4, and you can get kiros, doomtrain, and Irvine from her. Anyway, besides luvluv g's, the only way to build up compatibility is to use Eden a lot. Also Duel can do more damage than Lionheart, if you're fast enough =P.

Yeah, I've done the card quest several times over in my earlier games. This was just a random query. I'd use summons rather than limit breaks in many cases because I simply couldn't be bothered wasting the auras. And considering the Island Closest To Hell/Heaven is not the best place to be running around with low hit points. God damn Ruby Dragons...

Duel however requires using Zell. Zell deserves to be shot. I really don't think I know a more annoying person in any game I have ever played.

Zell??? If you want him to get shot then get Irvine in your team use aura on Irvine. Then shoot Zell's butt off.Zell copied Tifa in FF7 for same finishing limit breaks. My Final Heaven and Final heaven. In the topic yes you could build it up by using it a lot of times. But you have to wait intil the summon is complete.Meaning that the blue bar has to be empty. Then the compability will raise up.The Chubby chocobo cards gives you A LOT of LuvLuvGs then you wanted for.

I was speaking figuratively. Yes, I know summoning it will increase compatibility. I know I can get a lot of LuvLuv Gs with the Chubby Chocobo. That's why I was asking if there was anything else. Assuming you get Lionheart every time you Renzokuken. Which you tend not to. Or if I was really into wasting time, I could cycle through Selphie's limit breaks and wait till I get the end. But no, I stick with something a little easier, and a little surer.

Yeah yeah I like Tifa a lot better than copycat Zell, but I was just saying that his duel can do the most damage out of all of your people. As for Ruby Dragons, they're incredibly ez if you junction 100 sleeps to status attack. If anything gives you trouble on the island closest to hell/heaven, it's the enemies immune to sleep, hexadragons....um....malboros....sphinxaras I think....but it's worth it to get the crapload of exp from a ruby dragon. All you have to do is put it to sleep, and then use limit breaks or magic (they wake up from physical attacks only), and put them back to sleep when they wake up. If you go there at a low level you'll want to use limit breaks the whole fight, cause the enemies are going to have a crapload of HP.

I've found that summoning Doomtrain tends to make Ruby Dragons fiarly easy, it's just when they start off with Breath that pisses me off. If you're talking about chimeras, they're easy. I use blind rather than sleep. Things like T-Rexaurs, Blue Dragons, Chimeras tend to get a lot easier then. Besides, all I'm doing now is running around leveling up my three off characters, the ones I actually use are all level 100, so nothing is hard.

It was so annoying when all my people went Level 100....all those annoying Level 5 moves...
(Why'd they put Level 100 in FF8 anyway?!)

On my slot, I almost always hit LionHeart, or maybe Blasting Zone if not LionHeart

Anyway, I don't know about you, but if I cast that vitality down magic (what's it called again?) then do LionHeart, I have about 4/5 hits of about 1,000 HP each, with a following LionHeart.
That's about 50,000HP + 180,000HP damage.
Anyway, I don't see how you can do about 23 shots in the 11 seconds (or whatever other time limits you get) that you have, considering how long some options are.
But anyway, I rarely use Zell anyway, so you could be right

But anyway...LionHeart isn't so reliable on your game?

Strange.LionHeart is actully one of the most powerful attacks. If you master Rekozukoken(sp) then you could do 9,999 every hit.But Doomtrain is the status making GF.It like poison,Darkness, silence,Berserk, sleep, doom, curse, petrify, confuse, and Vitality 0.Also it could lower defenses. So it's useful against good bosses.Like Omega weapon.Squall and Cloud from FF7 are alike. They use swords.Same kind of finishing limit breaks.Omnislash and lion heart have sort of the same techniques. The Doomtrain-lionHeart combo can do about over 100,000 damage. But eden can add the damage even more with boost so it could do about over 149,998. Add JC (Jumbo Catcaur) making 159,998.So basicly LionHeart is prettty much powerful.

Amazing! Strange that the rest of us didn't notice that....

Level 5 moves aren't that annoying, as long as one person has death on st defense. And preferably revive as well. The magic you are thinking of is meltdown.

Lionheart comes up about 10% of the time for some reason. Blasting Zone is the most common. Probably has something to do with luck.

..Yeah....I have good luck
^_^

But anyway, I think you misunderstood me G/S/B ;)
I was saying how powerful LionHeart was as well.
LionHeart without adding Renzokuken shots to it alone is 180,000 (-18 for all geniuses ¬_¬) and so, I guess you should double your calculations.
Omnislash is 15 hits so 150,000-15, but yeah, Omnislash looks neater, Lionheart is stronger.
(Plus Omnislash doesn't always hit straight 9,999s, and it doesn't have an added Renzokuken)

And yes, it was Meltdown
