I just have to say that I love this show. I usually don't watch mtv because just about everything they play sucks. But of course I have to watch this show, a reality show, where you don't have to eat bugs is ok with me.
I wanted your impressions on the last episode, I really liked it. I really liked this season too, except for Tonya. I hate her. Well I was just wondering if there were any fans of the show here. Are there?

Not "The Real World" television. Music. Music good. Reality TV bad. Those are one of the things that really destroyed that channel. That, and then they started taking out all the decent shows that showed decent music videos and decided to replace them with things like that, or a bunch of pop culture crap. That's when I really went anti-MtV. And until they can show me that they can go back to how they once were, I'll continue to be that way.[/color]

I have to confess that I watched some of the last season of Real World, though. Of course, this was when there was NOTHING else on tv and there were no good books to read and I was tired of the internet. Nonetheless I have watched it, as well as some bits and pieces from previous seasons of Real World. (btw, Real World is the only reality tv show I've ever watched-period. Never seen Survivor, never seen "Big Brother" or whatever it's called... it's just stupid... my own life is real enuff for me, thanks). Anywho, I [i]did[/i] like Tonya. It bothers me when people bash her, I mean no one except her has ANY clue of what she was exposed to when she lived in foster homes all her life. I mean maybe some of the things that bothered her during the show are stigma that stemmed from things she was exposed to when she was younger. Give her a break, she had the hardest life out of the whole cast for cryin out loud.

I agree wholeheartedly with Piro, MTV has gone to crap, and they only have something like [i]one[/i] show that actually shows music videos, either that or you have to stay up late, because they put them at 3AM-7AM to fill time or something like that. It's not music television. It's trashy television. I mean come on, look at Spring Break. Sure, it's just alot of people having fun, and they show [i]music[/i], but you don't have to put all that stupid crap on there onto the channel. TTV!

When I was into that kind of stuff, I thought the Real World was interesting, but now thatI've grown far smarted and my tastes not tuned into the mainstream crap that we se everyday, other people who are stuck in a house and are b*ching at each other twenty-four seven isn't as appeling anymore. What can I say? I hate MTV, that's what. (MTV2 is another matter all together, though. :p ) [/color][/size]

The only MTV station I like is MTVX - 24/7 rock videos with no commercials (except the occasional MTV2 commercial). :D That station rocks.
