Phantom
Ilythiirtar stopped gazing at Eve, realizing he is far too young for her, just knowing and seeing another elf is much for him to be happy for. Seeing a beautiful female elf is enough to put him on his knees pleading. His mind is too strong for that, so he just trades glances with her sporadically. Watching the conversations unfold before him, he rests his eyes on his mentor, listening contently, watching Lacroix, observing in his traditional Elvin style. Bobbing a shadow in his hand, he realizes Gaib will be regally irritated. (best substitute for Royally pissed I can muster lol) Shrugging off the thought of his master, he realizes his calling is for the slaying of demons, orcs, and in the assassination of betrayers, orcs especially. His dream as a child. Collecting his thoughts, Ilythiirtar melds to the shadows of the dark hut leaving only traces of his dark hair to cover his grey, glowing eyes. Pondering what role he will play in this expedition, he finally pipes up. Asking Lacroix what would he have of Ilythiirtar. Ilythiirtar: (after asking) ?This will be a life altering decision. I am young but leaving Gaib means I would be homeless, I need a solid answer of if you would take me in if I was to abandon the swine Ganshed refers to as his most honorable ?funder? ?ahh?I cant handle that human wretch. No offense to you Ganshed, humans are great.? Lacroix: (wondering if this young elf always talks like a human, or if it has just rubbed off on him over the life time of being submersed in the human world.) ?Yes, I suppose we would have to take you in, would we not?? Ganshed: (receiving one of Lacroix?s odd looks) ?Yes Ilythiirtar, of course you know the potential you hold, Lacroix?? (glares at Lacroix unevenly) ??would be glad to take you under his wing?? With that settled, Ilythiirtar let a restful sigh emit from his lungs, relaxing fractionally, resuming his boyish trading of glances with the gorgeous Elvin mage.
Talon
Blaze melted into the shadows, leaving only Lacroix to even think he was still there. He snuck out a window, using his extreme agility to climb a tree. Eve wondered where he went, then she stood up and tried to sleep in the bed that Ganshed had laid out for Blaze, staring out the window at the tree. She saw a shape in the tree, and it looked like Blaze. Ganshed knew of Blaze, and had a secret that Blaze and he alone knew. Ganshed had restored Blaze's memory, revealing in the process that Ganshed had personally known his family. He himself had named him Blaze for his affinity to control fire, light, and heat. The elements had to be present, however, and when they were, Blaze was frequently bathed in fire as a pleasurable exercise in relaxation. He sat in the tree, crying himself into a state of misrelaxation, and he stared at the stars, wishing he could have a great life and relationship.. He felt jealous of Phantom, being handsome and young, rather than scarred and tired. Blaze fell asleep in the tree, alone and afraid...
The Harlequin
Lacroix immediately retired for the night, unwilling to engage in further conversation. The emotional vortexs around him were not his problem just yet, he was sure the assorted problems the others faced could be dealt with without his intervention. Besides, he was still wary of commiting himself too deeply to other people. As such, he forced himself to sleep immediately.
Jesus Chicken
Raistlin landed on the shire of the Human Continent and collapsed. He had been flying for about 6 hours and was exhuasted from his journey. After a few minutes of lying in the sand, he thought it best that he left this area, as the humans fishing nearby were giving him strange looks. Raistlin rose from the sand, picking up his staff and wandered off towards the nearest town.
The Harlequin
Lacroix slept, troubled by strange dreams. He knew, even while asleep, that dreams were merely a reflection of his twisted subconscious. A remnant of his bottled up insanity. No longer able to bear the tortured images being forced upon him by his mind, he writhed out of the grip of nightmare, awaking in the usual cold sweat that helped nothing. He wondered what had awakened him. Although he believed he had awakened himself, he knew that that was just his mind translating outer interference into a message of independence. He sent out a questing though, and his heart stopped within him. He knew who was outside. OOC: People, post if you like, but don't use my "presence sensing" thing in relation to anyone yet. That will be taken care of by tomorrow.
Ravenstorture
Name: Alastuin Race: Abomination Bio: Elvish mutation, basically a dark elf by appearence but with long, thin, metallic blades (retractable, of course) protruding from knuckles. Long, ravenblack hair, darkblue eyes, pale skin, very thin. Average hight, five foot something eightish. Madly in love with a dark elf, he disappeared a while ago and hasn't been seen since. Alastuin fought down a wave of nausia as she eyed the open window hungrily. She had seen movement in there earlier, but now everything was still. She could not wait any longer. Jumping down lightly from the bough of her tree, she stalked towards the window and leapt up onto the ledge without making a sound. There was a figure on the bed, sitting up, breathing heavily, facing away from her. She crept towards it and winced at the pain of her blades pushing out of her hands. Three feet away, two feet, one foot.... very close... she raised her arm to strike and stopped, quietly sniffing the figure. It was still apparently unaware of her, but she recognised the aroma and it stirred painful memories in depths of her mind never fathomed before now. A tear ran down her cheek and fell onto the figure's shoulder.
The Harlequin
Lacroix nearly jumped, startled. He quickly spun and swept his arm out, twisting it around the figure. He stood and hooked his arm around, knocking the figure off its feet. A thrill ran through him on contact. He faltered, leaving the figure lying on the bed looking up at him. The soft, luminous moonlight highlighted the figure's face. Revealing Alastuin. In an instant, they were in each other's arms, weeping softly with happiness. With no further words, they lay down, enjoying their reunion.
Talon
Amazed that Alastuin had not killed him, for she had jumped from the self-same tree he was in, Blaze looked through the window, happy for his friend, but sad for himself. He could not bear to see them together any further, and was slightly annoyed that Alatuin had waken him, he crept back into the house, walked into his room, and got a nasty shock. When he crawled into his bed, he jumped back out, for Eve was in it. He backed out onto the floor next to the bed, packed his things into a makeshift pillow, and fell asleep, tears in his eyes. He now had to face it in his sleep. His lover was dead.
The Harlequin
Lacroix wakes, feeling content, but not sure way. He shifts slightly, and abruptly becomes aware of a tangle of limbs, some of them, strangely enough, aren't even his own. He shakes his head slightly to clear the last residue of sleep, then starts as he remembers. Alastuin. Out of nowhere, after so long. He silently moves closer to her, asleep in the position they so often slept in so many years ago. He smiles, and kisses her head softly, before rising. He flushes slightly, then casts around for some clothes. True to form, they are flung up against the room's wall... 10 minutes later, Alastuin awakes, and stretches like a cat. When she finds Lacroix missing, she hurriedly sits up glancing around. Lacroix is sitting in a chair in the corner, silently watching. Still with out words, he hands her some clothes. She rises, and after dressing, takes Lacroix into her arms again. After a long moment, they separate, and stare long into each other's eyes. They have still yet to say anything. Lacroix: I love you. Alastuin: I love you too. Each again collapses into the other's embrace. They walk to the door, ready for some introductions, a few explanations, and then a long trek.
Ravenstorture
As they near the doorway, Lacroix reaches out to open it but Alastuin pulls him back violently. he looked at her, shocked and confused, but she has not spoken for nearly three years and cannot find words or how to form them. Another tear runs down her cheek as she struggles to communicate with Lacroix. He senses that she cannot speak and sits her on the bed, holding her tightly and stroking her hair, telling her to take her time. Alastuin: I love you... Lacroix: I love you too. Alastuin: I.... I... Lacroix: You don't have to say anything yet. Alastuin sits and thinks hard for a long time, before getting up and pacing back and forth wildly. Lacroix watches her silently. Alastuin: The mire! It's... growing. Lacroix: I know. I was there. Alastuin: What... where have you... went, been? She kneels in front of him and stares up into his face angrily. The words flooded back to her. Lacroix: After you went missing, I retreated to the mire. I've been there pretty much all the time since then. Alastuin: Went missing?! I was stolen! The humans stole me from your arms, rememeber? They tested me, made me do things... Lacroix: Please don't talk about it if it upsets you. Alastuin: What upsets me is that I lived in a cage for nearly three years and I never saw you once. Didn't you know where I had gone? Lacroix: I didn't know you had gone, remember? When I awoke that morning, you were gone. I looked for you everywhere. Everywhere. Alastuin: I'm sorry, I haven't eaten for so long... I only escaped a week ago. Things have been hard for me, I have resorted to killing in settled areas for food. Which is why I found you, actually. Lacroix: I'm so sorry, my love. I'm sorry. Alastuin: It's ok now. We are together again. But the mire... as soon as I escaped I went to the mire to find you, I knew that that is where you would still be, but when I saw the creatures... I just hoped that you where gone by then. They hold each other for a while longer as Alastuin weeps blood for her days in the human's prison.
Talon
Blaze's eyes snappd open as he heard what Alastuin said. Humans had stolen her. He, too, had been stolen. He never told anyone. He flexed his arm, feeling the fluid motions of the wolven blood tearing through his bones. The reason he had lost everything was because of that blood. Now he knew why Alastuin had not murdered him in his sleep. She had seen him and recognized him from the laboratory. Blaze shifted and stood up, not realizing that he had transformed into his hybrid state. Alastuin...Blaze remembered. Blaze:Alastuin...Now it all makes sense to me. She told me of a man that would love her, no matter how horrifying they made her. And it was all true. She was the only one that kept me sane in there, telling me that people loved me. She was helping to keep me sane, but she was wrong, there. Everyone that loved me has died, all because of my blood. Lacroix knows not how lucky he is. He was not taken by the lab, and he has his lover. Oh well. It seems I am destined to fight, die, and be mourned by no one. He unknowingly said this in Alastuin and Lacroix's presense. They stared after him as he walked out the door and climbed his tree again. He pulled out a set of pan-pipes and played a mournful melody that he called "Reqiuem of Eternity". Lacroix noticed a tear falling from Alastuin's eye as she heard the all-too-familiar pipe song he was now playing...
Phantom
His eyes never shut, sleep was something he hadn?t been getting for a while now, Ilythiirtar looks around, lifting himself on one arm, he watches Lacroix, and the new one, he noticed she looks much like the rest of them. All except the talons which were quite thin, sharp, probably of a human-made alloy, or something along the lines. Ilythiirtar?s ears were peeled. The song, oh the longing he felt for an elfish melody. His ears have been contaminated, the only elfish he ever truly learned was from Ganshed, a Humus Chordate. Shaking his head, letting his mind immerse with the melody, he is for once partially content. Getting up fully, He recoats, sliding on his top and light armor. The one article of clothing he has left from his parents. The Shadow Gorge, the name he placed on his armor. Briskly walking to the two, unsure if Alastuin (yay some one with a name partially hard to remember! Heehe) had spotted him laying silently in the grass, he follows behind. Lacroix knew he was there, so did Alastuin, however unsure if she knew last night, he pipes up, but before he can say a word, she glares at him, basically conveying the message he was about to ask for. Lacroix: ?Be easy young one, she has had a miserable time, she would talk but, it takes so much concentration, its best you don?t talk to her for now..? Ilythiirtar just nods, knowing outright how it feels to be unable to talk. After being orphaned, he had nothing, no one but a cruel scientist named Gaib, who merely told him to shut the hell up if he began to cry. Nothing but Ganshed allowed his survival. Ilythiirtar would have been very well destined to be captive of human slavery if not for Ganshed. Even with Ganshed, he had trouble talking, his eyes always away from the humans, always away from the pain. Shunning the thoughts from his mind, he simply did as he was told, quite accustomed to following orders, at least this order was for the good of some being, instead of that pitiful swine Gaib. Looking up at Blaze, Ilythiirtar grins, flipping up to him, landing in the tree with that polished elegance that elves were so well known for. Blaze: ?Hello young one.? Ilythiirtar: ?Again, I wish to thank yee for the day of past. Without your, whirl of whatever that was, I would surely have been injured beyond definition.? Blaze: ?You talk too much, hell you think too much, but the pleasure was mine.? Motioning at Ilyth?s Gekitsuu, the flame enchanted kris, Blaze, takes it, examining the abstract impurity of the blade. After slight commenting on the profound exquisiteness, he hands back, smiling. Ilythiirtar: ?Thank you, it was my fathers?? Eve, Ganshed, and the un-named one emerge from the cabin, all with sleep still in their eyes, ready to start the day, and move on?
Jesus Chicken
Raistlin walked into the town, wongs tucked behind his back, yet still visable. He attracted many a nervous glance walking into the small town, not many of the residents had seen many elves let alone elves with wings. Raistlin strolled up to the bar and stepped inside. He was soon met with some men asking him to leave. Raistlin should have suspected this, subconsciously, he did. But he had driven it to the back of his mind as it hurt when he thought about it. After being escorted out of the bar, he took flight, searching for a place where he could find some peace. Raistlin found it, a dark, dank hole. Monsters roamed the area, and he knew that would deter most. Raistlin landed in a part of the swamp, close to the centre. He noticed something that looked like a house, or shack of some sort. He walked up towards the house, looked around, no one in sight, and stepped inside.
The Harlequin
As the others talked, Lacroix stood, cradling Alastuin in his arms. He gently entered her mind, gauging the damage done. She resists him for several moments, until his soft insistence causes her to realise that the intrusion is born out of concern, and out of love. Several minutes later, Lacroix withdraws, wrapping his arms tighter around the form in his arms, out of sympathy that was drawn straight from a heart as grim as north facing granite. Alastuin shields her eyes, softly saying how she wanted to shield him from it. He says nothing, but gently strokes her hair.

Lacroix: Nothing, what do you mean? Alastuin: You ran from the mire. What is your quest? To run further? To alert the others? To battle the creatures? To regain you, our, home? Lacroix: Too many questions. You are still weak. Our rest is nearly over, but our path does not cross danger or difficult sannings for a day or two yet. Alastuin: How tactfully you avoid my questions. Lacroix: Complain not, my love. I haven't the energy nor the patience. Alastuin closed her eyes and buried her face in Lacroix's warm chest, reminding herself that there was a perfectly good reason for everything he did and said, and only by not questioning him does everything ever turn out alright.

Phantom
OOC: sorry I went on break, something was troubling me. and no I Eve wont be going with blaze, imp stupid?.sorry.. IC:Ilythiirtar sees the situation unfold before his eyes, he knows it isn?t his job to go after her now, besides he will more than likely be slain if he attempts anything. Looking at Lacroix, only knowing him for one night, may not be much, but seeing the mar upon his face, the deathly shadowy, agony-packed eyes, they glow not, only sink low, he hangs his head, unsure of if he will pursue the unwanted, or to stay? Hi s mind was made instantly, he shared his decision with no one, Ilythiirtar only briefly caught wind of his thoughts, noticed Lacroix must likely be leaving, his mind was racing over the possible future, his thoughts were consumed with Alastuin, his mind bellows with pain, the consciousness torn from him, he hits the ground with a eclectic clatter of thuds and because of the way he landed, ?snaps?. His arm must have landed the wrong way, but was healing as they watched him fall to the ground. Lacroix?s nimble body slung over Ilythiirtar?s shoulder, as Eve and Blaze led him to the cabin. Lacroix must rest before taking out after his angel. Ilythiirtar?s eyes gaped with pain, feeling his childhood flash before him. The whippings from Gaib would not soon be forgotton. His winces, rubbing his back, sitting in the corner, shadowed. Eve and Blaze tended to Lacroix the best they could. Eve, looking at her hurt friend, felt the sorrow she should, watching him convulse in pain, his psyche burnt to a crisp, his soul wounded, but not dead?within his head his mind continues to channel along Alastuin. Eve looks at Blaze worriedly, tears in her eyes, he moves to her and grips her tightly, supportively. Ilythiirtar sits, his mind being lashed with hate, pain, wretched soul threshing objectivities tunnel his head, avoiding his evading his attacks, just digging deeper into his perception. Blaze: ?It?s gonna be okay Eve.? Eve: (clutching back) ?But, he is my friend...I never let friends suffer, ever.? Blaze: ?Shh, he wont, he will not fail himself.? An instant later, amphoricating beside Raistlin, Ilythiirtar looks to his flank, probing yet another newcomer with his grey, booming eyes. After a quick inspection , the devil had wings, smiling oddly, Ilythiirtar asks; Ilythiirtar: (motioning to the wings) ?May I?? Raistlin: ?Oh what? ?haha! Yea of course..? Sending a soft hand out, Ilythiirtar touches foundation with the feathers, feeling the soft magical wings. Explicating his need for contact he claims his father was an elf of wings. Ilythiirtar was forever doomed to be a midnightwolf. He was happy for this, but wings were a thought of diminutive nature. Looking back at the two in the cabin, his arms still around her, Ilythiirtar smirked, thinking that it was meant to be?Just looking at the one human, oddly wondering why he was here, he never made an attempt to explain his profound nature of being?Everyone needs to know everyone. Ilythiirtar again, shakes it off. His eyes growing hateful at the delicate situation. Ganshed would never approve of this but Ilythiirtar walks to the center of the stones set behind Ganshed?s cabin, beginning a chant, rousing an unspoken magic, letting his mind free from the pain and flashing, but losing part of his soul to the darkness forever.
