ooc: ah, to accompany me would be most alarming, oddly enough, i knew you where there the entire time.

Ilythiirtar had never been so alone, yet surprisingly, the demon he sensed following him was enough to keep his solitary nothingness at bay. His dark grey eyes hidden well by his cloaked black tunic, which was all that protected him from the decimal landscape.

In his sleep he dreamt of his mother, her bronze hair, bright green eyes glimmering down at her son, the undying love she placed on him was only equaled to that bestowed by his father. They alone gave thier child the will to care, and that alone broke free within his slumber...set him free from the evils that stole away his consciousness...

Eve knew he was pooched for the evening, his eyes flopped in the back of his skull as he slept away on his unfurnished pad of leaves. She decided not to resist the urge to touch him. She crept to him silently, her meek legs only making enough sound to suppress the air that traveled past her. Sitting next to him, her eyes remain curious, like a child of sorts, wanting to reach out and touch knowing it may spoil the stealth she thinks she has accomplished.

He feels the soft back of her palm slide across his sweat-lathered forehead, her soft touch instantly wards the worry he once possessed. As she slides her hand along his cheek, she feels him stirr, but doesnt leave, and reaches down, planting her lips on his forehead before jumping back, walking backwards slowly, not looking away from him until the very last second, she smiles, turning away, concealing herself in the obscure darkness.

Having been awake for the last five minutes, Ilythiirtar struggles to remain calm, knowing she is guarenteed to be watching him. After a couple minutes of wait, he decides to 'wake up', moving his hand up to his cheek, letting a fake yawn escape his lungs. A smile spreads abroad his face...this time the smile is of mischeif (sp?) and marvel, he shakes off the dust and leaves, swinging his cloak over his shoulder, and begins walking...toward the center of the Mire.

Before he sets off, he notices a black feather, laying beside his cot-of-leaves. Ducking down, he picks it up, looking, as if now feeling her right next to him, and slides it into his cloak, and begins walking, maybe happy, but unsure of what the others would think...

Ilythiirtar: (aloud) "What about your Brother? Both you and I have skills that would prove usefull in saving his life, why waste two good hands of help in the process..he...needs you..." (in thought) "...I need you..."

The road to the Mire is a dark one, for it seems that it is forever dark below the canopy of this toxic forest...it will remain dark for this leg of Ilythiirtar and Eve's journey...maybe they will help, in some way by venturing out into the sure-fire suicide, or..maybe not, never more, forever nothing will abide by the laws of normal civilization. Life in the Mire wil prove meticulously uneasy.

OOC: yes, your post wasnt too shabby my wife.. MY angel...

OOC:So Mike didn't tell you that I never read your post up there, and that I tried NOT to call him those names, but he insisted. And lastly, I EDITED THE DAMN POST!
-----------------------------------------
Blaze awoke, once again in a tube. He was getting pissed with all of these tubes. Then he remembered. What was he doing alive? He'd thrust a sword into his chest. He looked down. A sharp, cruel scar appeared just over his chest, but nothing else. not even a bit of pain. Then a familiar voice answered his silent question.

Man:Yes! You are awake, and it is all thanks to the genius of myself, Doctor Vladimir Kasca. You gave me quite a fright, but you are awake now. Now, go and handle the intruders in the lobby to my compound. One of them broke down my gate, so I want you to show him your "special" punishment.

Blaze's eyes began to glow evilly. He wrapped himself in the Guyver-like armor, his blade and shield fully out. He growled fiercely, obeying Vladimir with reluctance.

Blaze:I AM DELITA!!

Though Ilythiirtar trod through his own path, along his own way, his mind could not help but hear the screams of a fallen elf, Blaze to his memory, Blaze to his thought, Blaze to his haunt, the words of encapsulate within his mind, repeating themselves over countless times. The numerous chances for rebuke, the numerous chances lost in the snare of fate, all precedent?aching.

His body stops, Ilyhiirtar turns in an instant and rolls to the underbrush of a nearby shrub. The dense forest-like swampland that he has been trekking though has proved to be the staging grounds for confrontation. Knowing exactly the distance and co-ordinates of whatever is following him, he implements the basic maneuvers that being would take if it had just witnessed his stop/roll into the cover. Knowing it would be up a tree somewhere investigating and surveying the scene, any movement (ie: Ilythiirtar) would be seen?

Emerging from under the marsh-like swamps of tall grass and probably vile creatures, Ilythiirtar pokes his head from behind his new vantage point, approximately the exact opposite way that the being following him should be looking. He scales the trees, nothing. He looks harder but still does not see anything even resembling a living organism. Just than he realizes the feather he had acquired from the camp from the previous night, his plan is now distinguished.

After concentrating moderately hard, Ilythiirtar summons and controls a short, soft gust of wind?and along the feather flies, controlled by him it lands in the center of the clearing before him. He waits, a gargantuan smirk strewn on his face?

Ooc: John, You couldn?t tell the difference between sarcasm and bullshitting?I was hurt? honestly, I didn?t think you were so naïve to think I would purposely make you want to call me more names?sure I said ?GIVE ME MORE MAN? Like it can hurt..? ?wasn?t ..oh lets drop this now..please.

The distant trappings of his inner thought aroused absolutely no suspicion. Was there no one following him? Was it merely a dream that he felt a friend?the one friend he shared absolutely the most intense glances with?.was she not here? He had no clue as she did not retrieve her raven? feather.

In an equivocal haze of de facto, his mind became restless, as if yes it was merely a reverie delusion caught by his central fancy. His true want, his eager repetitive dreams?.

Flipping out of the murky water, his eyes glow bright grey, and he shakes his head, maybe it was just his vibrant mind's eye, maybe not but as he walked by the feather a telepathic force thrusts it into his hand, where he than slides it back into his tunic, wondering why he would keep this black feather, its not like it meant anything to anyone?it was probably just a lost feather.

Ilythiirtar?s mind recaps the current mission, wondering what he was to do, but before he gets far, two feet land on his back, hurling him helplessly into a tree with sufficient force to crack his lissome ribs.

As he looks around, after managing to get up, he sees a beast of uncanny size?

Ilythiirtar: (thinking) ?How could a?*cough* puny thing like you deliver such a rapid, potent blow??

The hog-like creature with four hind legs, two on the top for most likely the type of attack that hit Ilythiirtar, and two legs on the ground, for what else?trotting, just looked at him, as if to tell him that he has intruded, so kindly leave my home, or I will kill you type of smirk on its face.

Amazed at the little brute?s force, Ilythiirtar reels back and climbs the tree with much pain, he finds himself strung out on a branch just out of reach by this?.warped beast?waiting for help or something!!!!! But he finds it rather comical?and he makes faces at the pig-like creature.

OOC: Danielle please no blow another PERFECT setup for you to type something magnificent?please? Your last post was basically spam. And we ALL KNOW u own at rpging..so take time and make it own like we know u kix azz at doin

Delita unwillingly rushed into the courtyard, where Lacroix was attempting to bring down the cast-iron gate. just as the gate fell to the ground, lacroix burst through, his scimitars flashing furiously in the firelight caused by an errant fire arrow. Lacroix stared at the metal being in front of him, failing to recognize the emerald-glowing eyes.

Lacroix:WHERE IS BLAZE?!?!

Delita simply raised his blade-arm as Ryuu, looking like Eve, walked through the gate. Delita faltered in his attack on Lacroix seeing what he thought was his sister. Lacroix took that opportunity.

OOC: Glad you people have sorted whatever issues you have out. That will be the [I[lastof it that appears in this rpg, or I will pump you all so full of hsp90 that any offspring you may ever have will be about as evolved as your average bacteria. Time to have som fun then....

Lacroix dived forward, rolling to his feet just in front of the golem-looking creature. At the sign of aggression, the blade that had previously been stilled arced downwards towards Lacroix. Expected, the agile elf ducked in under the arc. From his vantage point, the creature's knee joint was just beside him. Lacroix slammed the butt of his scimitar back, knocking the being off balance. Lacroix grabbed the foot, rose, twisted, and with his foot, hooked the other leg of the being. It fell, face first to the ground. The success of the move was debatable however, as it delivered a brutal kick to Lacroix's ribs. Winded and now wary, Lacroix stepped back, leaving the creature to get to his feet with enemies on both sides.

Delita decided to sacrifice armor for speed, sheathing his armor and holding his sword in his hand, rather than his sword BEING his hand. Lacroiz gasped, almost dropping the scimitars, and "Eve" screamed aloud. Blaze stood before them, broken tubes and machinery hooked up to his body. At his "sister's" scream, again he flickered into his own being. Instantly, he turned and ripped the tubes, the machines, from his body. Vladimir walked out, the smile finally vanished from his face.

Vladimir:What's this?!? Kill them, fool! Kill them using your Arc Beam! Use your Arc Beam, I say.

Blaze:Why should I listen to what YOU have to say. You made me this..this monstrosity! To me, you are a bug. Arc Beam THIS!

Blaze lifted his arms up to chest level, focusing his energies between them into the space before his chest. As the energy focus completed, a large blue-white beam soared out, freezing Vladimir in his cry of anguish, then melting the ice statue completely. Suddenly, the compound began to shake and crumble...

ooc: yes, flynn the dispute is over, im oddly enough too controlling. eh m8?

IC: Jumping from the tree, Ilythiirtar lands on the hog-creature and unsheathes his Gekitsuu, pulling it along the throat of the beast, slipping forth, the green blood instantly spews from the wreck of the hog's neck...utterly draining the beast, and in an instant it's neck catches fire enveloping the body.

Soon, thereafter, the beast was nothing but a rancid pile of ashes. This feat makes Ilythiirtar smile upon his conquest. A small one yes, but his first true killing of a being from the Mire.

Ilythiirtar (loudly) "See, I didnt need your help Eve....bleh!"

Blaze saw a pillar fall, causing the ceiling to crumble in. Blaze gave a glancing look at Ryuu, whose eyes weren't filling with tears as Blaze dashed under to grab the ceiling, preventing its collapse. He cries out as the muscles in his arms began to strain. Alastuin began to tear up as she saw one of her only friends about to die for her and her friends. Lacroix simply tightened his grip on his sword, his throat suddenly dry. his newest friend was attempting to be a hero and it would likely cost him his life. Blaze called out.

Blaze:RYUU! Tell Eve...tell her I'm sorry. I will return! And Ryuu...I know it's you, for Eve would cry at the imminently possible death of her only brother. I WILL RETURN! Now go. Get out of here, while my strength keeps you alive!

Lacroix, Alastuin, and the rest turned and ran out, all of them casting one last look back at the heroic werewolf. As they reached the outside, the compound crumbled. Lacroix shook his head.

Lacroix:What a waste. A day's march wasted to save that damned fool, and he goes and gets himself killed. Let's go.

Raistlin:Fool?!? Waste?!? That man just saved our lives and gave us knowledge at the cost of his own life and you call him a fool and a waste?

Alastuin(whispering):Blaze....good-bye, my friend.

A small green feather drifted into her open palm, the last one from his majestic wings. She clutched it, put it in her pouch, and walked along to catch up to Lacroix and the rest of the group.

Four hours later, within the decayed and stagnant rubble...

A wolfish hand stirred, clutching at the air. A shifting of stone resounded, and suddenly, a figure emerged, its fangs and claws gleaming white and silver in the moonlight. The figure shook the dust from its majestic mane, looked at the moon, and howled. Miles away, a dark-elf shook his head, believing he was hearing things. Lacroix looked at the moon, clutched Alastuin to his side, and wept silently. Back at the compound, Blaze stopped howling and set off to rejoin his companions, namely his sister. He followed her scent, finding a wooded area, and the smell of a dead boar. He saw Eve and Ilythiirtar standing in the clearing. He shifted back into his normal form, hiding his irregular features and mutation. He leaped out, his broken arm hanging limp against his waist, his collarbone set oddly. Eve squealed as she saw her brother alive. And apparently unchanged. Ilythiirtarm however, saw what he had become by the tint of green and yellow in his now-wolfish eyes. Ilythiirtar merely clasped Blaze's arms in his hand. Unfortunately, this jarred the broken limb.

Blaze:AIIIYYAAAHHH!!!!!!

Eve:Flare, you're such a baby!

Cautiously, Ilythiirtar pats his acquaintance on the shoulder gently. Looking at Eve now, Ilythiirtar smiles tenderly, hastening the process in which it will take him to relax. Ilythiirtar secretly was ashamed that he discarded the mission for Blaze, abandoning all efforts and forsaken the chance at helping. A long, very relieved sigh escapes Ilythiirtar?s lungs, free at last.

The happiness lasted for a mere moment before in his ears Ilythiirtar heeds to a very unsettling crack. Eve has gone to work on her brother. The sound is of that one would witness when a cedar log is crackling in a fire, kindling only small amounts of sound while the one long, piercing crack of the humorous bone snapping into place rings in the young elf?s ears like thunder.

Eve: (Smiling, proud of herself) ?All done?now stop whining??

Blaze: (Grimaces as he cradles his arm like a child) ?Yeah, you know I could have very well done that on my own?

Ilythiirtar looks up, feeling much more relieved that Blaze?s arm is relocated. He points Blaze to the camp for the night?knowing of course this wolven friend does indeed require to rest. And though he knows it or not, Eve is than also directed to her own sleeping quarters as well. Whether they love each other or not, that is not common knowledge, and conveniently the black raven?s feather rests on the branch above her head.

She smiles and takes it, almost as if his reply to her solemn expression of love was a confirmatory response of love?so she rests, unsure of what lays before her in the subsequent days.

Blaze stood guard over his sleeping sister, seeing Ilythiirtar's glances at her. He smiled, knowing all too well his baby sister was long gone and grown up. She'd changed, almost too much. But then, so had he. He spoke to Ilythiirtar as he bedded down, about to sleep as close to Eve as he could.

Blaze:Ah, my friend. Go on. Ask her. There is no other worthy enough of her.

Ilythiirtar:It bolsters my courage to realize the over-protective brother has allowed me his sister's honor.

Blaze:Allowed? I encourage it!

Ilythiirtar:I thank you, my friend. I shall ask her...whenever I may.

Blaze kept awake as Ilythiirtar bedded down next to Eve. Already Blaze was aware of the evils here. He jumped from the tree, transforming into Delita. Suddenly, three more of those wild boars came into the camp, not expecting to see a suit of armor that could move...

Springing upright, into a defensive position, Eve and Ilythiirtar trade a hurried glance, noting that they woke up in the same bedding of leaves. Surely not enough time for them to catch glance of a solid looking sheet of metal splintering three of the power hogs into shards of green tissue. Eve looked around worriedly,

Eve: ?Where is my brother!!!????

Ilythiirtar: (sensing who Delita is a fraction of a second before Eve) ?Right there??

Before they could jump to Delita?s aid, he had turned the creatures from the Mire into nothing but three mounds of rich ichor, and the glimmering metal cadaver-like body. Standing there, almost motionless. Just than he transmutes back into Blaze, keeping his eyes shamefully away from his sisters.

Ilythiirtar: (trying to keep the spirits high) ?Looks like he got them all??

Eve: (an odd look in her eyes) ?Guess so??

Eve and Ilythiirtar walk to Blaze, not knowing how to address him without hurting him. Both had the same interests. Make sure Blaze is ok.

Eve kneeled in front of her brother, inspecting his arm from afar. Ilythiirtar merely sat next to a nearby tree, keeping a keen eye on the situation. It all Clicked within Ilythiirtar?s mind. That was what Gaeb was searching for!!!!

Just than Ilythiirtar realized that Delita?s metallic embellishment was immune to the corrosive toxins that most of these creatures from the Mire are so saturated with. Ilythiirtar would wait for the right time to release this information to Delita as at the moment he was Blaze. So he than closed his eyes?the nights wear had taken its toll on him.

Early the next morning, Ilythiirtar?s eyes open to Eve?s soft forehead, his lips had been planted there for most of the night, breathing his warm minty breathe over her hair, as if an omen to ward off any unwanted creatures. His protective warmth allowed her mind to rest for the night. Her life was about to change for the better, and worse.

Eve turned her head and looked to Illy.. His eyes gazed back to hers.. She leaned in and pressedher lips lightly to his, feeling utterly content for about two minutes. She then pulled back from the kiss and nuzzled Illy gently. Then she stood and walked to Blaze..
Eve: Go to the others, tasks await you, as well as me, our paths split here dear brother.. I bid you goodbye..

With that Eve lifted the hood of her cloak and seemingly dissapeared.
She pulled her hood about a mile away. She turned back to look in the direction in wist she had come...
She wispererd to Illy..letting the wind carry her call to him, and him alone..

Eve: come to me my love... follw me, I shall await for you here...

She looked around and sat on a huge bolder. She felt odd, as if she was not alone.. she felt it strange that there should be so many bolders here and no where else had she seen in the mire... She looked up and lept to the lower branch of a tree. Lest the bolders be some creatures... best let them alone..

Like an abnormal twist in the fabric of space, Ilythiirtar was fully cloaked, and kneeling beside Delita. His eyes focused and hardened. He blinks once before disappearing, leaving Delita with the all the information he needs,

Like vertigo it caresses your mind, but deep, trapped, locked beneath is the forced embolism that traps the soul. Gaeb, a man with simple human qualities, the one true seeker of the befitting sequence. Immunity, perhaps the possibility of an alliance?

Ilythiirtar left Delita with a riddle, one that not many would even understand, and that was the aspect of it, no need for comprehension, especially in as vile a territory as this, one must keep alert. And so feeding Delita with fragments of his thoughts should indeed do the trick.

Within the hour, the young elf was in the arms of his newfound lover, her back pressed to the solid base of a nearby oak tree. The lips of these two meet in an adequate surreptitious quaver of secretive tribunal amid the two souls.

Delita stood, poring over the riddle. he let the wind carry a soft message to his sister, just a simple swishing noise made in the back of the throat. Eve would undertsand it, and her alone. delita drew out his razor-edged shield and his sword, making a big ruckus in the Mire. As he set about destroying every evil thing, he caught the attention of a group of travelers outside the Mire, heading for their next destination. He regressed back to Blaze as a group of tearful warriors walked in to investigate the disturbance, one of them clutching an emerald feather. Alastuin did all she could not to run forward and slap him as she saw his wings. She stayed holding Lacroix, who looked relieved. Blaze just smiled.

Blaze:Come on. Let's get out of here. Lead us on, Lacroix. I'll rejoin my sister sometime in the future. I just pray that before the year is over, I find someone as she has. Oh well. To the journey!

OOC: Sorry Flynn, I know this is your rpg, but if everyone does the same things at the same time, wouldnt it get boring? heh.

Ilythiirtar smiled, as Eve was wading knee deep in a murky bog-like collection of water. She slipped and fell under, only to pop up behind Ilythiirtar, and pat his shoulder. As he turned, she was gone, once again in front of him, only her entire body was soaked with the water.

Ilythiirtar caught glance at Eve, who suddenly seemed to begin shunning away somthing. Her mind was consciously warding off anything that may try to communicate with her, Ilythiirtar merely guessed it was a goodbye message from her brother, perhaps he was right, but he knew Eve's intentions, and the one mystery that still lay in the back of his mind would be where she is leading him.

Ilythiirtar smiled and gripped Eve from behind, letting his head rest on her shoulder for the time being, until she recovered from the wave of stimulus that poured within her cerebral cortex.

Blaze stood, blood dripping from his blade, and followed Lacroix. He stopped short, sensing a feeling of loss. He turned around and headed the other way, thumping Raistlin on the shoulder in thanks for the "Living Golem" comment. He walked away from the group, transmogrified into his armor, and ran towards his hometown. He felt something there. His hometown, Druisad, the only elven town in the area, rested in the center of the Human Territory, even though he was a dark-elf. Running at full speed, he achieved getting there in three hours. As he stood, drinking in the familiar sights, the reminiscence of sounds, and the cleansing scent of crisp, clean air, he felt alive again except for one part of his soul. He ached to hold, to treasure someone above all others. His sister could never be that way with him, no matter how close they were or had been. She had someone already, and besides, he'd been gone so long that she'd drifted away from him. As he sat down on a grassy knoll, watching the town's activities, he saw something strange. The bell tolled, and everyone had disappeared from the streets. When once doors were open, they were now closed. Window shutters didn't clack against walls as they swayed in the wind, they had been bolted firmly. Delita stood, seeing the reason. A Dullahan-like abomination swept through the village, tearing up whatever he could. A child was left in the street, calling for his lost puppy. The abomination leered, holding what should have been its head in its hand. It drew a crooked sword with its free hand, about to cut down the child. Delita was there in a second, hearing a woman scream "My baby!", grabbing the child around the waist, rolling out of the way and carefully doing so as not to hurt the boy, and standing, releasing his blade-arm. He snapped his hand back, cutting the abomination off of its horse. He caught a crooked blade in the chest, recoiling a bit. The force had knocked him back, but his armor held firm. He realized from a trickle of blood running down his chest that he was not completely invincible. The abominations could still hurt him, but not as much as if he were not one of them. He felt saddened at the thought, but killed the abomination with one stroke. He'd had his elf-hood taken from him and had been made into what he had just killed. He almost cried, but stopped as the villagers poured out, calling thanks to their savior.

Old man:Thank you, great Metal God! Truly, you have saved our people from a cruel fate. That menace has driven this town to the brink of ruin! He spoiled our lands, killed our maidens, and even stole from us the lives of our greatest resident one year ago.

Delita:This resident. Who was he?

Old man:He was my grandson. He believed his mother and father dead, and he was truly caring and strong. The day he died, his sister and wife had left. His wife later died, too, but I never found out about his sister. Poor Eve. Blaze was the only thing she'd had left when her parents went into that coma. Then he went and saved her life in that fire, and she left at his command. But as for my son and daughter-in-law, they awakened two days after Blaze died.

Blaze stood in shock. His parents were still alive! He began to tear up, letting his armor regress from his body. Suddenly, the old man stopped short. Before him stood his grandson, Blaze Fioren. Locksley Fioren led his grandson to his old house, which had been rebuilt in his memory. his parents were there, poring over some town plans. As Blaze walked in, the two elves jumped up, disbelieving what they were seeing. Then Blaze held up his left hand, showing them the bracelet Eve had given him a year before he had been taken. His father, Artemis, a dark-elf, embraced him. His mother, Leita, a high-elf, held him close, weeping happily.

Artemis:My boy! My boy! You've grown so much! But how could you be the Iron Man? How could you be alive?

Blaze:Father, I was not killed. I was taken by a man named Vladimir to a lab of some sort. I escaped and found myself in the Mire with no memory. I began travelling with another Dark-elf who was on his way to stop the impending doom of this land. We joined up with more people and unknowingly my own sister!

Leita:So Eve...Eve is still alive?!?

Blaze:Very much so, mother. But anyway, I was taken to the Lab again, where they infused me with powers that I don't care for and other things, such as my Delita armor, that I do enjoy. I destroyed the lab after becoming too powerful to control and rejoined Eve for a while. I left her and came here, to see if the town was alright. This is what I found.

As the whole town gathered to see their lost, but now found, son, there was much rejoicing. That night, there was to be a dance in the town hall in Blaze's honor. He felt a pang as that memory of his sister came up to him, and he felt extremely depressed. He wanted someone to dance with, someone to love. He sighed heavily as he sent his sister another message with the wind, telling her of her parents and of the town. He then went to join in the festivities, for he had seen a nicely-sized platter of food pass by. He licked his lips, hoping to get either all or most of it...

ooc: no prob, though I did not mention your name, I think that yeh..bleh..on with the story *nods approvingly* dont mind me, im just a silly canadian.. heh.

IC:
Ilythiirtar smiled at his new love with approval. She had an uncanny communication skill to provise a group of these powerfull hog-like creatures. Somehow she had been able to tame them moderatively. Their senses were somthign to contend with, though they are only powerfull, their defenses are quite weak, and they all died off fast as the two elven lovers encountered various feats of the Mire. Ilythiirtar looked to Eve, wondering what was travelling through her mind, wondering when, and if she would tell him her plans.

Ilythiirtar: "Eve...tell me, if you are warding off any communication with the others, how will we ever know when we are needed?"

Eve: "You know, I think that I have to do things that I feel, and right now all I am feeling is to explore this deadly place, maybe learn more about what we are up against. I will however open a link with Ryuu, to be my link to my dear friend Lacroix and the others...Yes, does that suite you my love?"

Ilythiirtar: (gripping her by the hips, pulling her warm body to his, smiling tenderly) "You bet my love.."

OOC: John, I think that in an rpg, all players must be able to communicate with others, but under certain circumstances, when one is leaving, purposely to keep away from a certain character for a certain time, (to get a break), I think it is that particular character's choice when the two characters in question will re-unite, as friends, and/or siblings. In much more blunt and simple terms, even you can understand, "She wants to be separated from her brother for a while" ... remember, this is only an rpg, let somone else make the desicions for a sec....
