Ok peeps, I just got back from the movie theatre watching Reign Of Fire... Here's just a few words on how I feel about it.

Graphics I gave a strong 8, they were excellent and very lifelike but they could have done better with some digital enhancements, they should have made it actually looked like a cone of fire instead of a flame thrower.

Acting was great but they should have gotten someone else to play quinns little "adopted son" he just didn't do very good at all. You could not tell any emotion from him and he just stood there most of the time. VanZam was great! I hope to see more movie's with him in it.

Plot could use some work in area's. Seemed like the average "monsters are coming save the world scheme". But then again being a guy I'm susceptable to the way of thinking of male nature... that nature is "It's got action and violence, that's half the plot there!".

The ending was terrible.. for anyone who hasn't seen it I won't give it away for you i'll just say that it dissappointed me.

Matthew McConaughey? He's been in zillions of movies...he's incredibly good looking

Reign of Fire actually surpassed my expectations. I expected it to be rather stupid...but I kind of liked it ^_^

I actually had low expectations for this movie. As you said, it looks like it's a, as you said, "monsters are coming, save the world" movie. Ebert and Roeper said it was bad plot-wise, and roeper gave it thumbs-up because it was entertaining. So I might go and see it.

I thought it was a great movie. I saw it opening day....yeah.....

Well the only thing that could have been improved, is if they focused on the dragons a whole lot more. Other than that, a great movie. And it could have been a bit longer as well.

The archangels scene was cool, expect for the fact that 2/3 of them died...

The bull dragon ate one of its females because of the lack of food... unless the rest of the harem wanted to be made dinner, they had to escape the hungry male. This scene bothered me, but for the most part it was "plausible".

I just finished watching the movie...it was okay. The dragons were really cool (especially when the bull is percherd on top of the castle). Plot wise, I thought the movie needed a little more development, especially since Christian Bale and Matthew McConaughey are both pretty good actors (although McConaughey's plug for his old movie during reign of fire was shameless).

The previews kind of give the impression that this movie is gonna be straight out action, and dragons are going to be killing things left and right.

To me it seemed kinda like an average war hero movie with dragons stuck in instead of a human badguy. I liked the movie, and a lot of it was actually really well done. Quite a few times I thought it was dragging though...a lot of the character development was just plain boring.

I just saw the movie today. It was cool. But like someone else said. They needed to have more action in the beggining. But this one part confused me. Do the dragons eat ash or meat or do they just eat both?
