I love watching zoids! Its not like gundam where they are at war (well, one series) They have battles and move up ranks and compete. It has a lot of comedy and a lot of action. I like it a lot. There are two series you van watch. The first comes on at like 6:30 in the morning and stars van highlight ( or somthin like that.. van something.. whatever:rolleyes: ) He finds this little thing called an organoid that can jump inside a zoid and help control it. In this one zoids are used by the republic and the imperials to fight a war. The other Stars bit cloud who goes from a junk dealer to a zoiud pilot and helps the team with his legendar y ultimate x zoid the liger zero. The first one has a lot more action, fighting, and death. the second has action, but is a lot more comedic. Anyway, i like both and hope i have helped! Later!;)

Zoids is one of my favorite anime. I get up every morning at 5:30 to watch Chaotic Century. I sometimes watch New Century Zero in the afternoon, but not as much since I've seen all the episodes. It's a very good anime.

I wish I could find some zoid maga though.
the first 5 ZOIDS mangas are teeny little things, 5.95 each, and they're at borders in the manga section. they're hard to find cuz they're small and aren't normally on the two main shelves, cause they are in the "z" section, with x/1999 and video girl ai and stuff. you could also go to borders.com

Ok, here we go. I don't like the Zoids with Bit Cloud in it. I hate the competions, or whatever. When their lives aren't at stake, I am usually not interested. As for Chaotic Century, they are in a war, and I like that. But let me clear something up. The manga, is just a bunch of stills from the anime. Or the anime is just an animated version of the stills. It usually even has the exact same words in it. So in most cases when someone says the cartoon is good, that goes for the manga as well.

yes, but, first of all, i have no idea what chaotic century is, so the manga would be new to me.

second of all, sometimes an anime would be created before a manga, and then the manga would be made with completely new stories(i.e. cowboy bebop).

understand?

oh and i got the mangas for my zoids-obsessed friend, but she might not like them cause she LOVES bit cloud. So she'll probably return them to borders, so i can buy them.

oh and there are 5 volumes so far!

I think Zoids is amazing! I've not seen the mangas, but I know I like the Chaotic Century/Guardian Force seasons.

As far as I know, the story is this: Van Flyheit (spelling?) lives on PLanet Zi, a blue planet far across the Milky Way. On this planet are massive robotic living creatures called Zoids. Basically, Van stumbles across a small robotic T-Rex called Zeke (an organoid) and a girl called Fiona in some ruins while running away from some bandits that are attacking his village. Zeke brings him to a ruined Sheild Liger and re-builds it. His journey starts when Fiona (having lost her memory) says something about Zoids Eve. He decides to help her find it and gets roped into a massive war between the Guylos Empire and the Republic of Somethingoranother. It's great stuff. I love the way the dialogue's written: "I am SO going to give you a wedgie!"- Irvine. The plot's relatively simple but has so many character twists and cliff-hangers that it's never stale. I could go on forever about how much I like it but I won't because you'll all get bored. But Karl Schubaltz is possibly my favourite anime (human) character ever.

New Century I've not seen but it looks a bit like it's got a kind of Pokemon thing going for it (which is never good). About 100 years after Van's adventure, Bit Cloud and co. ride around battling people to...um... I don't know why. For the sake of it, I guess.
