Im playing Pokemon gold and i was wondering if there is a tm for thunderbolt in there and if there is than where is it????

I don't think there's any Tm for Thunderbolt.

I don't think so either, but if there is, you're probably better off looking in the Super-Marts in Johto and Kanto. I think they're in Goldenrod City in Johto, and Celedon City in Kanto.

[color=blue]No, there is not a TM for Thunderbolt in G/S/C. Believe me, I looked before I got Pokémon Stadium 2, and there isn't one. The only Lightning TMs are Thunder, Zap Cannon, and Thunderpunch.[/color]

[I]Actually, the only way to get Thunderbolt in G/S is by breeding with a Pokémon that already knows Thunderbolt. You can't win it or buy it. And in Crystal you can use the move tutor who is in Goldenrod on Saturdays after you've beat the league.[/I]

:D How do you catch em without chasin em for two months first, cos I don't have the batteries for that. I have Suicune, but that one took me a loooooong time, so.... suggestions?:D

[color=indigo]First off, you can't catch Raiku and Entei without chasing them. There just isn't any other way, unless you cheat with a GameShark or something.

As for where you get Rock Smash, it's in the town up in the north-west corner of the map... I forget the name... It's the one with the steel type gym.[/color]

The town is called Olivine I have crystal and gold. The names of the cities are strange in these games dont you think?

A tip for catching the two any of the three legendary cats: Try to get a pokemon that has a techni that will put them to sleep and is fster than them. Don't have him/her too strong or you'll knock them out and won't get anothe chance to catch them.

[color=blue]Here's a pretty good way to catch those three:

1.) Find a city that has an intersection somewhere on the path to and from that location. I used Violet City.

2.) Place a Pokémon in your first party position that has a high Speed stat and a Sleeper move that has decent accuracy, but also with a power move that can whittle down health. I chose a Haunter with the Hypnosis/Dream Eater combo. It also needs to be below Lv. 40. You're going to need a Flyer too.

3.) Buy lots of Ultra Balls and build up a stock of White Apricorns to take to Kurt in Azalea Town so you can get a bunch of Fast Balls. Trust me, you'll need'em. Also, buy some Max Repels. 5-9 should do the trick.

4.) Go into your Pokédex (if you've already seen the one you're after) and check "Area." If one of them is on Route 35, 37, or 31, move through Violet City until you get to north-west corner, and Route 36. (This is where Rock Smash is found after moving the Sudowoodo. Talk to the guy that looks like a Hiker. Afterwards, you can buy it at Goldenrod Dept. Store.) Check your Pokédex again, and if you and the Pokémon are on the same route, use a Max Repel and run through the grassy areas only on Route 36. You should eventually run into one, but make sure you have your Sleeper Pokémon in the first slot and that it's under Lv. 40, otherwise, it won't work. If the Pokémon isn't on Route 36, just Fly back to the Violet City Pokémon Center. If the Pokémon is nowhere near Route 36, do the same thing. It'll work eventually. It just takes patience. I caught all three like this in about five days.[/color]

Well that doesn't work all the time.Because they run away to another area when you fly to the closest area to the route.Try to use matched types instead.Typhlosion will do the trick for Entei.If Entei is around Violet ( which mostly is ) then go to the routes.With 5-9 max repels and couple of ultras,fasts,and Heavy balls.If Entei didn't ran away to another route then go to the route and use max repels.Typhlosion MUST have earthquake and newly evolved (lv36) or more but under lv40.Or it can be just at lv40.Anyways under lv40 is better.Once you find Entei earthquake him.and press A to inflict more damage.It should be around yellow or close to red.Haunter should do the trick next.When oyou find Entei again.Teach Haunter toxic and use it on entei after the hypnosis.Then keep switching pokemon intil about a quarter is left of Entei's HP.Then go for it.Throw a bunch of ultras,fasts and heavy balls.Or you could duplecate Master balls and throw it once.
