Powers: Fly, invisible for 30 sec, Ice sword that can cut through most metals. Can turn the ground in ice and can ice up doorways.

Bio: I was good until I witnessed a mass killing of a city and I loved it. I wear a deep blue cape with a black suit of armor ani no helmet. My hair is 2" blue spiked hair.

Weaknesses: I can only be invisible for 30 sec, Ican't fly without my cape. My arnor protects me from fire but not ice.

Powers: Possibly the planet's most powerful mutant, Nick Summers possessed vast psionic abilities. He was also a telepath of the highest order -- able to create psionic illusions; read, probe and control the minds of others; and extract a psionic entity from the astral plane. Also, he could generate destructive psionic spikes and lift objects weighing more than 10 tons.

Bio: Growing up in the heart of Hyperion City, Nick discovered his powers at the age of 15, when he was caught in a fight. Since that day he has not told anyone of the "powers" But simpley protects the innocent from Danger.

Weakness: Himself..... Nick can get very cocky, and not think of what he is doing can hurt him.[/i]

Height: 5'2

Power: Can become one with the shadow. Can also capture the shadows of others. They will not be able to move for a short period of time.

Apearence: Wears dark brown baggy pants and a blue t-shirt with vines stiched into the sleves. A small pouch hangs from her belt. She wears an emerald green cloak. Her raven black hair is tied high on her head with two lose strands hanging at the either side of her face. Her eye's are a violet coloured.

Bio: Was born in a village on the out-skert's of Hyperion City. Her family have always noticed something strange about her. Especially when she disapeared in the middle of the night. At the age of 8 she learned what she could do and showed it to her family as well as her friends. She trapped someone with a shadow bind (by accedent) and because every body feared what else might come she was thrown out. Preferably Ivy tries to stay out of trouble and do what's best for herself. Ivy now walks the back allys of Hyperion City.

Weakness: Is weakest during the day. With enough light you can cancel out the shadow bind as well as knock her out of hiding.

Why is being shot a stupid weakness?

And this puts too much emphises on super powers. Take a look at the superhero which is probably the most well-liked: Batman. He's a master of every known (and several unknown) forms of Martial Arts, he has a brilliant deductive mind, every third story he's saving the JLA from destruction.

And he's just a normal man. A normal man, and probably an insane one.

Batman has no super powers. None. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Neither does Nightwing, or Robin, or Catwoman, in fact, almost all of the villains that Batman goes up against are normal humans. Sure, Two-Face is horribly scared, but that's not a super power. the joker is compleately mad and loves it, and he's also a genious (give him any three chemicals and he can make a deadly gas), but he's a normal human. And yet, these villains could give even SUPERMAN a run for his money. And, according to Kingdom Come, Superman has a wrath inside him that could give pause to Satan himself.

What's whith the emphises on superpowers?

Also, what do you mean by 'no god characters?' How do you define that?

Green Lantern has the most powerful weapon in the universe. he can create anything he can imagine (granted, it'll be green), and he barely needs to recharge it. Is that god?

the Spectre is an agent of God himself. Does that make him a god? He has troubles.

Superman IS a God to some people. He is the single most powerful metahuman. I mean, he cannot be stopped. If he wanted to, the world would be his. He could wipe out the JLA easaly. And the JLE. and the JLAs. And the JLAf. That a god character?

Kids these days. Superpowers are everything to them. If forced to choose between being Batman and being Superman, I'd be Batman in a heartbeat.

my god do you mind if i save that rant to my hard drive? well he is right i belive here was also bat girl and a few otehr i just can't remember their names right now and what i think he means by that is that the character needs to have a CERTAIN weakness like superman is to that certain stone that is green i can't remember the name of it.
